Cookies - I don't feel any movements when I'm at work and I think its cos I'm busy most of the time. Either that or it's when baby is asleep.

Scase - glad you got thru the day ok. One day at a time is a saying that I never understood til a friend suddenly died Flowers

Gx91 · 11/02/2016 19:51

Just thought i would chime in about tidying lady gardens lol
I decided to shave off the lot just before due date lol got a hand held mirror to check I had got it all and omg !- it doesn't look the same or what I thought it looked like haha I think all the pressure from baby changes it lol I called my mum crying asking her if it would ever go bk to normal and she couldn't speak for laughing at me lol
So this time will just tidy it up and not bald it !
Just incase any of u suffer the same shock Grin

Glad to hear of all the baby movements it's the best part of pregnancy ! Xx

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 11/02/2016 20:06

Scase so sorry to hear your news. I hope you have got through today ok.

Scandi welcome.

Mini I'm finding it difficult to bend over now as well. It makes me feel dizzy.

Funnily I haven't felt movement today. I can't wait for my scan I'm on countdown. 13 days to go.

I'm so emotional. A client at work today wasn't happy with her treatment. She had a lash curl & thought they were too curled so i tried relaxing it down and then she felt they weren't curled enough. I wanted to cry. I'm really struggling with work in general. I feel so pregnant already I'm always out of breath.

Sorry about your friend Scase, very sad. Thanks

Feeling so fat and tired tonight I can't contribute anything worthwhile. Sad

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 11/02/2016 21:04

Feeling like a whale Sad

pulpi · 11/02/2016 21:12

Oh beautician, I completely understand and am attaching evidence of my own cetacean state.

CultureSucksDownWords · 11/02/2016 21:15

That's a lovey bump Beautician.

I am genuinely very very overweight, my BMI is way too high, and I have to say you all have very delightful and attractive bumps, you really all do. I would be thrilled if I was as trim as all of you that have posted pictures. You really don't need to worry about what you look like.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 11/02/2016 21:46

Pulpi you have a nice neat bump.

Culture thank you but I was overweight to start. So it's mostly flab over baby Sad. I'm trying to eat healthy but even if it's healthy food I can't stop eating.

HopesAndDreams15 · 11/02/2016 21:51

I feel like I've just eaten a Christmas dinner even if I've just had a salad. I'm going to be HUGE!

Nice bumps ladies! Culture I'm sure yours is lovely too! Baby bumps come in all shapes and sizes but they're all amazing!

Loving the bump love.

Hopes so neat. Your bump looks quite high.

pulpi · 11/02/2016 22:03

Beautician, my bump is 90% pasta. It's a macaroni baby. I push on it and its just flab. Unless that's what a bump is supposed to feel like when laying down? It's firmer when I'm standing.

HopesAndDreams15 · 11/02/2016 22:05

Beaut it is high, it starts literally right underneath my boobs! I think that's why I'm struggling to eat, there's no room for the food to go down.

Loving all the bump pics ladies and the lady garden talk. Just got in from a long day at work and it's really made me chuckle.
Now I know primary isn't renowned for its quality clothing but I have to say they've got some nice long jumpers and cardigans in at the minute which have been great for chucking on over leggings. Just thought I'd share as I've been struggling to find any mat clothes xx

Pinseyboo38 · 11/02/2016 22:31

Primark not primary lol X

Vikkijayne2507 · 12/02/2016 00:20

I have a smartphone again felt so lost without it

mascaraisamust · 12/02/2016 03:50

My bump is huge (17+5), people keep asking if there's two in there Confused, it's only my first too. I was a size 10, now I can't fit in a pair of cheap size 14/16 primark pjs, too tight! It's pretty hard too, literally popped out these last few days.

Think, think... I felt movement yesterday. Very slight! Kept happening. Little twinges.

As you can tell I can't sleep Sad

Scase1firsttimemum · 12/02/2016 04:31

Hate not being able to sleep! But I am up for work now ughh :( really wanna call up and say im not coming in! This week has been exhausting

Jem01 · 12/02/2016 05:23

I've been up for the last hour too thanks to another trip to the loo! Sad

On the plus side happy Friday everyone! This time next week will be my 20 week scan (finally!). Any exciting plans for the weekend?

mascaraisamust · 12/02/2016 06:55

Oh gosh, I wasn't the only one awake at silly o'clock then!

Bluebell20 · 12/02/2016 07:42

Well, had the scan yesterday and got some very cute photos, which I am attaching - one of his little foot, which is apparently 3cm long already! And he is definitely a boy!

His measurements are all spot on, and mostly his organs look good, but they were a bit concerned about his bowel which looked 'a bit bright' around the edges on the screen, so I am being referred to a consultant at the FMU.

They asked if I'd had any bleeding, as apparently the baby can ingest blood in the amniotic fluid which can make the bowel look bright, but I've not had any bleeding all pregnancy as far as I know (tho DH did point out that all my knickers are black - but I have checked every time I've wiped since October.) They said it was borderline whether or not it was actually a problem, but they would rather be over-cautious. However, they said lots of the doctors are on holiday next week because of half term, so god knows how long I will have to wait to be seen.

I was most discombobulated because they gave me 6 pictures for free when i asked for 4, which should have cost me a tenner. I got back to the car and was a bit upset that they'd been so nice - like, why are they not charging me? Why are they being so kind? But DH thinks they were running late - they had said they didn't want to write a receipt apparently.

So then I got home and made the fatal mistake of looking up echogenic bowel on Google, and cried for an hour. But I've woken up this morning feeling a lot brighter - it is probably nothing, and it's nice that we will get another look at our baby (I assume), and even if it is something, at least this way we will know.

Bluebel those are lovely pics. Please don't talk to Dr Google. He always has the worst prognosis. Go with the professional assurances that all is ok.

I am so pleased I am not the only night owl. I have suffered insomnia with both pg and can usually manage the next day but just 1 hour since getting up and my eyes are fighting me already! Only 13 hours until bedtime...

I am feelinh more flutters. I am looking forward to them getting stronger.

Fwiw i am just 16weeks and already popped out. Another "its perfectly normal" moment!

Scase1firsttimemum · 12/02/2016 08:58

Was supposed to be up at 4am but couldnt be bothered!!

They are beautiful photos!! I agree, never look up on google because it'll say so many different problems and you'll worry yourself silly! Im sure baby is okay Smile

4 day weekend after I finish work today, so looking forward to itGrin
