I'm jealous of the amazing cooking going on, I've opted for a healthy pasta dish Confused DH says he will take my out for lunch tomorrow so thought I'd behave tonight. Starving!!!

birchybaby2 · 12/02/2016 19:57

Youandme so sorry to hear your news. Take care of yourself. Xx

primarynoodle · 12/02/2016 19:59

bluebell im so sorry you have to go through this anxiety all though the liklihood is it will be nothing. I know exactly what its like to be told there 'might' be something but you will have to wait and see what if anything it is... at least the wait is 'only' 1 week

youandme so sorry about your dad :(

I completely sympathise with those who are feeling over emotional... i am very over sensitive at the moment!!

GoingLoopyQuickly · 12/02/2016 20:30

Youandme. I am sorry to hear your news. I hope you are holding up ok

Mascarasisamust We have opted for chinese. We are both shattered for various reasons and it is friday night. Not sure I will be able to eat it all though!

I really don't want to whinge a I am trying to savour every minute of this pg. I expect it to be my last and it is such a magical thing BUT I feel rotten. I have fighting a bug forca few weeks now, work has been exhausting and I haven't been able to sleep at night. I just need to hide under a duvet for about two days, but little chance of that with a two year old in tow. Although when DP is at work in the morning doing more OT to pay for our extension, I think me and DS will snuggle in my bed and watch a film and then the world will feel like a better place.

I am also constantly feeling one pain or another around my bump which is quite uncomfortable. But a good sign things are growing.

On a lighter note, has anyone got any nice plans for the weekend? We don't reallu celebrate valentines but might do something as a family on Sunday. I am trying to set up a couple of play dates for my boy. The best thing about hitting two years is that they kids can now play without being attached to us so we can actually have a coffee.

Havent really felt baby today.. Got a bit worried so got my doppler out, heard him and sounds very strong.. Must not be hard enough to feel or he's having a quiet day, sure I may have felt him a few times, Im such a worrierHmm

Thom80 · 12/02/2016 20:51

I have just ordered a takeaway curry! Very excited. Not healthy but have a cold and feel like something hot. Can't wait.

pulpi · 12/02/2016 20:56

No Valentines plans here GoingLoopy as the DH is in Japan for 2 weeks. I'm eating my weight in homemade sushi tonight to compensate. Considering my delightful mood, it's probably good that he's halfway across the world! I am glad to know that I'm not the only one feeling a bit emo and grouchy.

On a side note, DH tells me that in Japan, pregnant women eat sashimi. And here I am worried about seafood sticks!

Scase1firsttimemum · 12/02/2016 21:25

After saying that.. Hes now doing a sort of acrobatics :L

We have ordered a DominosBlush... Ive ordered a veggie supreme so thats sorta healthy!!.. What Im telling myself anyway :L

minieggaddict · 12/02/2016 21:53

Celebratory fish and chips here with wine gums for pudding. Think I've forgotten what vegetables taste like :/

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 12/02/2016 21:54

Bluebell did they actually mention the condition you've googled. If they've said it's very borderline it's likely to be nothing. They are very cautious when it comes to babies. Hugs to you. Step away from google. Great pics. Sorry to hear about your friend. MIL has stage 4 cancer and it does make you reevaluate everything.

Sorry to the insomniacs. I suffered this in my last pregnancy and it is horrid so I sympathise. I'm sleeping really well this pregnancy but annoyingly I'm even more exhausted than in my last pregnancy.

Mini yay congrats on team blue. I'm biased obviously but boys are fab.

Youandme so so sorry to hear about your dad. Take some time and look after yourself.

Photographer I'm the same emotional and snappy. DH washed the boys school ties and jumpers the other day and the washing machine stopped working half way through (fuse in plug went). I didn't know any of this until the next morning as I worked a late night. So I had two children with no ties and jumpers the next morning. Easily solved I bought new in the school office before school but I went bat shit crazy at DH.

A bit of a shitter of a day here. DH has been working away and his work van was stolen last night. He's a site manager so all his tools from when he started on sites at 16 were in that van. He finally got to his work office after a three and a half hour train journey to be told the work van was covered but not his tools. About £4000 worth. I don't know what we are going to do. We don't have that spare cash to replace them. Not when we are renting and expecting our 4th. We've just paid out £1500 rental deposit on our new house Sad

ValerieTheHorse · 12/02/2016 22:07

youandme so sorry to hear your sad news, look after yourself xx

scase sorry to hear about your friend xx

bluebell sorry to hear about your friend with cancer xx

Sad times hey Sad

Shall we share some positives..? Mine are I am sure I am feeling little movements now, which is nice. 19 weeks tomorrow. Also I'm going away for a few days next week with dp and ds and can't wait to have a little break from the day to day mania.

birchybaby2 · 13/02/2016 08:11

Yeah just persuaded the hubbie that pancakes for breakfast a good idea. Missed out as was working on pancake night and working tomorrow on Valentine's day. Sounds a good start to the day then pizza hut party with daughter. Xx

julfin · 13/02/2016 08:45

Youandme and Scase - thinking of you both in your bereavement - hope you're doing ok.

Bluebell - keep positive. Sorry to hear about your friend too.

Birchbaby we had duck pancakes with our Chinese takeaway last night, does that count?! Still looking forward to my maple syrup pancakes though...

I think I felt bubbles/flutters for the first time last night, but tbh it really could have been my digestion! I'll be keeping a close eye on it. Mainly I'm just feeling ligament pain.

Can I ask who's being good about doing their pelvic floor exercises and who's being a bit rubbish and forgetful (like me)? It shouldn't be hard, given that you can do them at the same time as doing other things, but I just never seem to remember...

Hope you all have a nice Saturday!

Scase1firsttimemum · 13/02/2016 08:59

Im a forgetful person anyway, let alone having baby brain AS WELL! Ive been really bad with remembering to do pelvic floor exercises! Really need to set reminders on my phone or something :L

Everyones dinners last night sounds lush! If we werent having dominos, chinese DEFINITELY would have been on the cards!

As we have found out we are team blue, we are going baby shopping today GrinGrinGrinGrin I am superrrrr excited!!!!

Cookiesandcoffee · 13/02/2016 09:12

beautician I'm so sorry to hear about your husbands tools. We can semi relate as the same thing happened to DH but Luckily the site insurance did end up covering the tools. Fingers crossed for you. Such bad timing as well Sad
julfin I never do mine. Didn't with my others either. Would explain why I have to practically hold myself when I sneeze Blush I'll never learn.. Am squeezing them now.. Can we all remind each other to do them?!
bluebell So sorry to hear about your friend. And I hope the anxiety eases - Dr Google is the recipe for many a disaster. Try not to panic yourself as it still could be nothing. Having had your harmony test surely that rules out so much? Hope the scan brings some welcomed good news. And not too long to wait either which is a bonus.
photographer I'm a cow. A tired, irritable stroppy, emotional cow.

Another early night last night. All your dinners sounded V yummy. I was good and had steak and mushrooms with roasted veg. Tonight will be a different story! Grin so much for Valentines, DH is out. More take away for me!!
Bump has disappeared this morning and left the flabbiest most gross looking fat belly. I'm feeling disgusting and just want to sit with dds on the sofa all day in my pjs...
