It's the calm before the storm (sort of) that is Fantastic February and the March Madness - we did a lot of shagging last summer! We need more JSers on this, our 44th thread!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 44th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 43rd grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 57th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

I'll pm her! Didn't think of that!

So in addition to my pineapple the other day, today I've had a hot curry, bounced on the ball loads to AC-DC and am about to try raspberry leaf tea.

I'll report back with the shit's in the morning

pretzelpieces · 22/01/2016 20:38

Good luck with it all jelly, I feel like I should get on the ball but I'm bloody knackered, I'm going to rest instead!

NFMDinner: Faggots for tea.

pretzelpieces · 22/01/2016 20:38

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 22/01/2016 21:25

honeysucklejasmine · 22/01/2016 23:29

5.30 is such an annoying time to wake up

Don't know if you saw my message before mermaid but Norland nannies sometimes do free childcare for multiples. Good experience for their trainees

SockQueen · 23/01/2016 07:43

Could really do with not being on-call this weekend. I know my morning sickness isn't that bad, but trying not to vomit or faint while running a cardiac arrest is not fun. I think I'm going to have to tell work early so that they don't think I'm lazy/skiving.

honeysucklejasmine · 23/01/2016 08:23

Sock you should definitely tell them, so they can ensure your safety. Are you on the FB group? Mountain, who is a grad grad, is an A&E doctor. She might have some good tips for surviving whilst pregnant. If you're not on group and want an add, just PM me your Facebook email (that you use to log in) and I'll add you.

Thursday how are you feeling?

Mermaid36 · 23/01/2016 08:32

country I did have a look at the norland website but it didn't say anything specific. I think the issue would be location (several hundred miles from London) and the fact that we have nowhere for a live in nanny to stay (and live very rurally, so no flats etc to rent out).
Might drop them an email though....

jellypi3 · 23/01/2016 08:49

Morning! My arse is surprisingly intact this morning. Don't think the rlt or curry did much though. I actually didn't mind the rlt so I'll continue with it for now :)

thurs did you get back to sleep. I toyed with the idea of getting up around 6 but managed to get back to sleep!

honeysucklejasmine · 23/01/2016 10:36

Glad to hear the arsehole is intact Jelly! Can you go for a vigorous walk?

Half my fluff stash is now drying on airer. Other half needs to go in washing machine. Argh, its getting real now!

pretzelpieces · 23/01/2016 10:42

Glad your arse is ok jelly.

How're you doing today sky? Thanks for the Star

5hell · 23/01/2016 10:47

Morning all
Nice bit of sexy time this morning, followed by yoga and crumpets Grin

jelly I thought rlt wasn't meant to get things going, but rather help your uterus along once it starts? Get drinking it anyhow.

Hope you can have a restful weekend sky (and everyone else)

ThursdayLastWeek · 23/01/2016 11:01

Sounds like a great morning 5hell!

Honey thanks for asking, I'm feeling much better this morning. My back was hurting because I'd been on my feet too long rather than for any exciting reasons! I read my book for a little while at 5.30 and must have dosed off again because I woke up a bit later when DS did.

I volunteered at parkrun this morning. Was lovely. It's at a local National Trust place, so I took the dog and we had a bit of a stomp before doing our duties. Was really nice to see my 'parkrun friends' as I hadn't been for a few weeks.

Poor sock . I guess you work in a hospital? Must be bloody knackering at the best of times.

jelly I have no faith in any of those induction things, but I thought RLT was actually quite tasty when I had it with DS Smile
At least it keeps you hydrated.

Got bacon in the oven, and DS & DH have gone out before I even got home HUZZAH

Glad volunteering was good thurs

sock I think you're a hero. Definitely consider telling them early.

Had more periody pains during the night.

honeysucklejasmine · 23/01/2016 12:02

Come on MiniPretz!

Glad to hear it Thursday!

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 23/01/2016 15:03

pokes in head sheepishly

Hello everyone!! Sorry about the total ninja vanish, and thanks to jelly for such a sweet message! I actually decided last week to take one or two days off the site just to try and implement the "watched kettle never boils" rule, and it worked a little too well before I could come back!!!

I went into labour in the very small hours of saturday (last weekend), then was in hospital for what seemed like an eternity in labour (it lasted about 22 hours in total I think). We were kept in hospital for the standard three days after the birth, then I was kept in an extra night because they weren't quite happy to let us go just yet. Since then it's been a bit of a sea of "what the fuuuuuuuuuck are we doing?!?!?", barely any sleep, and lots of visitors - so this is the first time I've been able to come on over!

I have NO idea what's been happening with other viroids, so will have to do a proper catch up!!! I wonder if Niff has had her baby yet!!

Gosh, I hope that everyone is doing well - I'll have a look through the thread now!!! I'll do a very brief birth story....

honeysucklejasmine · 23/01/2016 15:12

Gouda! Thank goodness you're OK! Tell us all!!! Congratulations!!!

Niff did indeed have a very beautiful DD who is now home after a bit of a rough time. She's not done a birth story yet, but they only got home a day or so ago so fair enough!

honeysucklejasmine · 23/01/2016 15:14

Oh! Oh! And Mae too! She popped a few days ago! Another beautiful DD!

pretzelpieces · 23/01/2016 15:23

gouda so glad to hear you are ok and huge congratulations! What flavour did you have? Tell us everything!!

ThursdayLastWeek · 23/01/2016 15:37

Oh thank GOD gouda!
You had me worried you pest!

Yay, can't wait to hear from you proper, but no rush Smile

BIRTH STORY

My labour was 23 hours (just counted) - I spent more than half of that without any pain relief at all. Although the pain was awful, it's the pain combined with the relentlessness of them and the exhaustion which is so shit. Oh, and if I ever hear anyone saying that "productive pain" is somehow different to "non productive pain" then I swear to god I will productively punch them in the face.

Anyway, after bloody hours of this, I asked to be checked - I decided if I was about 8cm then I would keep on with nothing as it was nearly over. I wasn't even four cm. This is after HOURS - I think maybe 12?

I had the epidural at this point, and it was possibly the best decision I have ever made in my life, ever. I know people have very strong views on this, but my personal advice would be to at least keep the possibility of an epidural open to you. It changed everything - all of a sudden everything was okay! It didn't hurt, it was fine, actually. I was even cracking jokes with DH. My contractions actually sped up with the epidural as well. I literally cannot stress enough how much of a difference it made!!

There were some problems at the end due to me losing more blood than they were happy with, and at the end of it all I wasn't in any pain, but I think due to the exhaustion and the stress, I felt a bit like my world had ended.

I would definitely advise people not to under estimate how much of an impact sheer exhaustion can have on the whole experience, and to try and remember that it's okay if your experience isn't all kittens and rainbows. When I think about the birth (which I don't really like to do to be honest), I like to focus on the epidural, as that was by far the best part of it!!!

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 23/01/2016 15:59

Thanks everyone - oh wow, so many babies have been popping out!!!!

pretzel we had a boy, but we found out the sex in advance, so it wasn't a surprise Grin

jellypi3 · 23/01/2016 16:12

So glad to hear you are ok gouda, and the birth of your little boy! :)

So now I am officially number 1 on the stats. This scares me lol!

Been to a wedding preparation day all day, 10-4 in church! Quite a long day but made me excited about the wedding!
