Did anybody see A Child Against All Odds last night? Those poor women going through all that. Wonderful that one of them eventually conceived twins, but the poor woman who is a midwife and can't get pregnant. I thank my lucky stars that I am pregnant, the struggles I had to get this way are nothing in comparison. Obviously if you didn't watch it I'm just rambling.
Had a great day, we're winding down at work as semester has finished so today was mostly spent eating cake, drinking tea and chatting. Tomorrow we're having a bit of a party and Thursday we think we might pack up and go home at lunchtime. Then I have 11 days off! Wooooohooooooo! Unlike other threads talking about work antics, we don't have sex on desks with wild abandon but us librarians do a mean tea and cake.
Beginning to get very fed up with TPT, I've gone back down to 7.5 sheets, same as about 12 weeks. And I'm 19 weeks now! Good news of today is that my pregnancy calendar reckons I'm exactly half way through on Christmas Eve. It's actually flying by now. My parents visited tonight. I haven't seen them for a couple of months and they were so shocked at how pregnant I look. My wonderful Dad has bought the baby both a complete Winnie the Pooh and complete Beatrix Potter set of hardbacks. He says he's bought them to read to him/her himself. I got a bit emotional remembering that he read them to me as a little un too. He's ordered the complete Roald Dahl too! And my Mum's in knitting overdrive. I think they're more excited than me. They're picking us up on Sunday so that we can spend Christmas with them and my two Grandmas. Feeling very festive!
Anyway, I've probably put you all to sleep...
