Vikkiejane it is the opposite for me, time going too slow!! It's all I can think about lol. Especially after being put back a week!

Indiansinthelobby- wow congratulations!! That's great news :)

Mascara- yeah we must be same dates then but guess it depends when we ovulated. I must have ovulated late for me to be only 6 weeks!

Loki17 · 28/11/2015 22:04

Indians; that is a fab picture! Smile

redstrawberries101 · 28/11/2015 22:36

Anybody else experiencing real thirst? I feel constantly dehydrated but I am drinking and peeing a lot.

Loki17 · 28/11/2015 22:41

Me too Mel - im drinking so much orange squash. I never drink it normally; I drink coffee and water, but just can't stomach coffee atm. I don't know if it's because I've switched to decaff?

Cheery1 · 28/11/2015 22:44

Mel and Indians - great news about your scans!

Mel - yep same thing with thirst, weirdly craving salty food so wondering if that's not helping.

Elizardo - nice to meet (well virtually meet) another Le Mercury fan! Not sure about sprout pizza either.....

Sweet dreams ladies xx

EllieJayJay · 28/11/2015 23:12

Hi ellie Smile

Natica · 29/11/2015 06:47

Hello I'm new here. Nice to see this thread.
I'm 5+1 Smile

Cookiesandcoffee · 29/11/2015 07:40

Hi ellie hope you are doing ok. Lovely to hear from you thanks for popping in.

Great picture indians how wonderful it must be so nice to see this whilst you are feeling so crappy. I kinda feel like all I've got to show for is a stick I weed on.

What I'm guessing is trapped wind is waking me up night after night-it's driving me mad. It's on one side more than the other and goes all through to my lower back.. Anyone else??

mel also thirsty all the time! So annoying isn't it? And I've had to buy it squash and juice also! Water in the morning is a massive no. And I have had a cup of coffee every single morning until this pregnancy. I normally drink loads of the stuff. Also having salty food but I think I'm thirsty regardless. I think it's so frustrating when they put you back. I'm waiting for it to happen at my scan as I know I ovulated later than CD14.

Hope you weren't too lonely missclark . I'm sure you will meet some mums in your area. Going to things like aqua natal or baby massage is always a really nice way to meet some. Personally some of the ones from the breast feeding groups were a bit much for me but they were lovely ladies.

Cookiesandcoffee · 29/11/2015 07:42

And loki yes I'm exactly the same. Had it for ages now - even DH noticed Blush. Adds to the worry no matter how much you tell yourself it's not what you worry it is. Do you have a scan date yet?

Cheery1 · 29/11/2015 08:00

Hi Ellie, hope you're doing ok. Xx

Cheery1 · 29/11/2015 08:03

Loki - I find I just don't finish a cup of decaf, I've got hooked on my one cup of earl grey tea, never drink it normally. Need to find a good decaf!

Cookies - I had that a lot last week. Was worried that it was something else but then realised it was trapped wind once it was released (if you know what I mean)! Now I just seem to waking up really early regardless of how tired I am.

Loki17 · 29/11/2015 08:45

Hi Ellie hope you are doing as well as can be expected. Flowers Cookies I've booked my early scan for the 23rd of December (ill be 10+4) in the hope that we can tell dd that day and then our families on Christmas day. I'd like to take dd to our 12 week scan because my SIL did with my niece and it really helped my niece to get her head around everything and feel involved. I've just had my morning dry wretch and mouth full of hot water after two days of much less nausea so I'm predicting a nauseous day ahead. Feel oddly comforted by it.

Stickyjellybean · 29/11/2015 09:27

I'm 8 + 2 using the due date calculator or 9 + 2 using LMP (35 day cycle). Does anybody know which is more likely to be accurate, the GP and midwife went off LMP and ignored that I had a longer cycle, I guess they're waiting for the dating scan to confirm?

Also my symptoms all seem to have pretty much gone the last few days, I've never actually thrown up but previously had been feeling sick, now nothing. I'm a bit worried something's not right. Has anybody else's symptoms disappeared so early?

Loki17 · 29/11/2015 10:56

sticky my symptoms waver quite a bit. Thursday I heaved and was actually sick all day. Friday and Saturday I had practically nothing. Today the wrenching on an empty stomach has returned. Try not to worry too much. Give it a few days and see how you feel x

Cheery1 · 29/11/2015 10:58

Sticky - I agree with Loki. Some days much better than others. Though rest seems to be the key, a good sleep makes all the difference.

Also so many of my friends didn't really get morning sickness, just tiredness and bit of nausea so everyone's different.
Xx

lilygirl81 · 29/11/2015 11:12

Hi Ellie I hope you are doing ok and getting looked after Thanks

sticky I panic when I lose my symptoms, but they always seem to return at some point

I'm so excited, we are going for dim sum at lunch time which is great as I have been craving Ho fun noodles (long, flat, wide slippery rice noodles) that you can't get anywhere except there! We normally get crispy squid, I think I'm ok to eat that?

Amazingly, DH and I agreed on a girls name yesterday, but no clue about boys.

Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday planned

felinewonderful · 29/11/2015 11:25

hi, I have had my first vomiting episode this morning, have been feeling nauseous for a couple of weeks but no actual sick, just thought I would share! Also is anyone else suddenly ridiculously bloated? I look about 4 months pregnant and I know it can't be actual baby but probably water/hormonal/wind!! I'm just getting worried that Im suddenly big! Any tipsvon getting rid of the bloating? I've not been eating more than usual. Also I'm currently craving orange juice.(This happened last time I was pregnant), quorn ham slices with salad cream and walker's ready salted crisps with philadelphia light. I can't go anywhere near chocolate or coffee. Anyway hope everyone is having a nice Sunday. x

Kaytee1987 · 29/11/2015 12:03

Melvali brilliant news re your scan. Can't wait til mine 22nd December!
Loki I've been a lot more damp down there too, hardly used to get any discharge before, maybe just one day around ovulation and now have it most days. Keep panicking that it's blood and going into toilet to check.

For those of you that have children already and BF, how long did it take until you were able to express enough to go on a night out? Just wondering if we'll be able to celebrate our first wedding anniversary or not Grin

6 weeks today xx

redstrawberries101 · 29/11/2015 12:15

Thanks kaytee!

Ellie, how nice to hear from you, hope you are doing ok?

Every half an hour or so I just want to get into my bed and lie down for 10 mins. The exhaustion just comes and goes in waves. Going to my mums today as its my brothers birthday, he is 15! We were hoping to go through to glasgow to Nando's but plans aren't working out and it's just soooo cold and rainy and windy here.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 29/11/2015 13:51

Mel so pleased everything is going well. I think scans this early can sometimes be off you will probably get another date at 12 week scan.

Cookies yes I have 3 boys. We won't be finding out the sex. If I get told at the 20 week scan that it's another boy I know I will have a twinge of sadness at never having a girl. If we wait until birth when the baby is handed to me I won't care what I have as long as it's healthy. I know I will feel that instant rush of love.

Gx91 I had spotting after sex once during my last pregnancy.

Loki I have ridiculous amounts of discharge. I'm having to wear a pantliner.

Our friends announced her pregnancy yesterday so I didn't have to pretend we just told them that I was pregnant too. Made the weekend easier.

I'm nauseous all the time and I keep getting really bad heartburn. I've gone through a bottle of gaviscon already. The tiredness is ridiculous I yawn all day long. Now headaches have kicked in. I'm a grump aren't I. I just can't believe I've got so many symptom this early. It makes me worry I'm in for a tough pregnancy on my body

Mordirig · 29/11/2015 14:01

Melvali Such good news about your scan! Smile
I don't get my scan date until my booking appointment on the 15th, my fingernails are paying for my impatience.

I've been dry down there for a few weeks, but I got a pessary for recurrent thrush and Antibiotics for a water infection last week and since then I've been getting more dampness, not overly so but a healthy amount I suppose, its not sore anymore so I'm happy to wear a panty liner for a while.

I've never been sick in my pregnancies but today I was rearranging the larder in preparation for Christmas and I bent down too quickly and ended up swallowing back (involuntarily) a mouthful of sick Envy

Peyia · 29/11/2015 14:27

Lovely scan Indian so special seeing little heartbeat!

The thirst is awful, especially when you have a razor throat from a cold!

Sorry to hear some of you had scares. Hopefully EPU put your minds at rest x

Bluebell20 · 29/11/2015 14:51

Hi guys! Great news about the scans, Indians and Melvali!

I've been feeling fine the last couple of days, no sickness, just the odd bit of shakiness if I need to eat. It is a little unnerving to feel so well! That said, I have finally, finally shaken my six-week beast of a chest infection, so I do feel super duper well!

Woke up last night about 3am with a real need to move. Went downstairs and did running on the spot and lots of star jumps, then sat on the sofa and read a book for an hour!
