Missclark I've got loads of spots appearing on my face. Particularly annoying as they aren't whiteheads just horrible red bumps. I seem to be getting more every day. I usually have flawless skin Sad

Cookies when I've dtd during this pregnancy and previous pregnancy I've not experienced any pain at all. I would definitely mention it to the midwife.

Loki I'm hoping that's true for me I've not lost my high sex drive during pregnancy before. I feel so different this time.

Smoothie for breakfast this morning see if I get any improvement on my morning nausea.

10+5

Only got myself to blame but after a full dinner of rice and lentil curry for dinner I've just had a chicken wrap and fries from a local takeaway. Now I feel gross.

For the first 7 weeks my sex drive was at an all time low, I hated the thought of even trying anything also because when we did Id get terrible cramps after O that put me right off I heard its something to do with the uterus contracting it scared the hell out of me! I dont get any pain now and my sex drive seems to have gone up for now at least until I look like some sort of beached whale I'll bet it'll go again

P.s. Re. DTD - we've been too anxious to! Waiting til this stressful first trimester is over. Also felt about as sexy as a fat, windy old bag so not really been in the mood.

Do it scase!

Jo - sounds exactly what I had. Getting an early scan is the only and best thing you can really do to reassure but as cookies said, it's really common. Good luck!

And happy count downing for those with impending scans. Good news is, at 12 weeks, the babies are really properly formed and doing back flips!

I haven't dtd since we found out. I have zero desire despite usually having a good sex drive. I was the same during the first trimester with dd. DH is fine with it and very supportive. For me, it improved in the 2nd trimester last time so I'm hoping for the same. I'm just too tired atm.

Think we may need to start thread 4 ladies! Don't we run out of space at 40 pgs.....Anyone know how?

I've not had that when DTD Cookies - except that one of the first times we tried after I got pregnant, I was so effing dry that we couldn't actually do it! Bought some baby-friendly lube after that... If it hurts because there's not enough lubrication (I hadn't realised how much was on the outside of a condom) then I would suggest trying some lube. But certainly worth mentioning to midwife - I know it's horrible to have to talk about but don't be embarrassed, it is important and they really have heard it all! xxx

I'm still feeling very tired and groggy too. I'm 9+3 today and have my early scan next week. I've got to the stage now where all I can focus on is wanting to see my baby and make sure all is ok. I've got 4 days left at work and I just can not wait for the break!

Hi everyone! Welcome to the newbies!

I've been following closely and enjoying everyone's updates. Amazing scan! Not got mine for another 3 weeks yet. Seems ages. My cousin is expecting and just had her scan last week, I really wanted to tell her but then thought I would wait. I told my 3 best friends though, the girls I grew up with and they were really pleased which was lovely. It felt so much more real.

As for the acne, I'm very spotty at the moment :( I need to use a weekly facemask to minimise the breakouts otherwise DH will be playing dot to dot on me!

Someone mentioned painful intercourse, is it because you are dry down there and not loosening up enough?

I am also a very frequent uti-er/ thrush. It's horrible. I do find if I don't go often it flares up but if I keep drinking and flushing it is much better. That's the best advice! Also take probiotics! These are wonderful things and can really help. You can get them in boots or Holland and Barrett.

I'm feeling so tired and flat too. I thought it would begin to lift now but nope. Working all through Christmas, just got Christmas Day off and New Years that's it! Going to try take it easy though. Just cannot be bothered with anything!

elliz amazing scan/waving bean! Eekk so amazing to see he/she growing in there, a faff having to go back but you get to see him/her again Grinhope all goes well
loki I use mine on the app but I've not been on all day as been so busy at work..zzz
jo hope it goes away and you feel better soon. I've had brown discharge in all of my pregnancies so try not to worry. If it goes red then give EPU a call.
Think we've had this conversation but Yey we are scan buddies mascara! I've got the bloods etc and last time we were up there hours.
cheery love your cystitis veteran comment! Definitely flush it out with extra water/cranberry juice.
beautician I'm sorry to hear you're feeling very off DTD. I think this has been the case for me previously where energy is low. Unless you are particularly anxious about anything I'm pretty sure it comes back once you have energy again?
On the subject I have a worry I've been having for a while but didn't want to share. I have been physically unable to DTD as it has been so painful? Absolute agony and I'm really worried if this is going to continue. Anyone else?? Or do I need to speak to doctor/midwife?? As I really don't want to!

youandme you have my deepest sympathies regarding your trapped wind! I've lost hours and hours of vital sleep this pregnancy is agony and seems never ending. Hope it eases soon. I've heard peppermint tea is good but I've not tried it yet as the thought of it is making me nauseous.

Jo6526 I've been having red spotting for over a week now, it's very light but comes every couple of days. It's scary, but I'm booked in for an early scan on Wednesday so hopefully I'll have some positive news to share.

Has anyone else got acne!? It's not on my face, it's behind my ears near my hairline but it's disgusting!

Lovely scan pic elizardo, so sweet seeing baby waving!:-)

Don't check the thread all weekend and it's very chatty as usual! Welcome to all the newbies. Feeling really really tired like some others have mentioned. Work is becoming a real drag at the moment roll on 24th when I start annual leave! Think I'll need to start wearing my baby on board badge on the tubes as feeling so faint on there especially when it's cramped, hot, and I have to stand for a long time.

My husband's cousin told me she's expecting in May. Really excited our babies will be close in age. So tempted to tell her but will wait until our 12 week scan.
