oh... that poor, poor Gerbil. Hope the wee fella who slid doesn't feel too bad!!

Blonde... I understand your panics . I find a reason to worry about anything.

Fox pml over your dd - what a stunner .

Young love, huh Lunar... how absolutely sweet!

Moss... you go girl! Hope you enjoy your early evening in 29 weeks - yours must be the baby of our babies. I'm 33 weeks today with 49 days to go .

sexkittyinwaiting · 08/01/2007 20:19

Oh when I came home ds1 and friend were in tears, had to give them both a hug. it's not something you'd easily forget I suppose skidding on your friend's gerbil, ah well.
Sorry everyone, have really caught up with anyone, well I have read, but can't remember what to say when I come to reply.

AmieR · 08/01/2007 20:29

It seems so weird that we're all mainly due in March.. yet, Moss is 29 weeks and I'll be 33 weeks this week... I know that's how it works but when you see it written downm those 4 weeks seem a long time! oh how my brain goes on weird things at times!

I turned 27, 2 motnsh ago.. am I the youngest here?

AmieR · 08/01/2007 20:30

how'd I do that typo? MONTHS

divastrop · 08/01/2007 20:33

fox-does your daughter take after her mother?

moss-i thought you were oldercos you seem more mature than me.my 30th is march 1st,so if im induced due to bp again i could be in hospital/labour/giving birth at that time

kitty-poor gerbilyour ds defo needs pets that are un-squashable.

Feedmenow will check that out immediately... hmm it is looking like you're right I think The Wire did say "hungry", BBC website says "The Wire is Hungry" in the synopsis anyway. Oh I'm so I was sure she said "feed me".

Will now have to check the UK Gold schedules to see when it's on again to know for sure.

AmieR / Kiwibella, yes, I think that's right, he might well be the "baby of our babies"!!

Not sure how old everyone is. At first I felt quite old at 29 to be having my first but then I read 29 and a half was the national average and I felt better.

TheBlonde · 08/01/2007 20:42

I'll be 32 by the time this baby arrives

Having a frustrating evening - DS crying again - he has been put back to bed approx 5 times now

sexkittyinwaiting · 08/01/2007 20:46

Wasn't 'feed me' that plant thing in that famous musical, can't remember the name. Well that was helpful wasn't it?

sexkittyinwaiting · 08/01/2007 20:48

I know 'little shop of horrors' !!

3rdTriMossTer · 08/01/2007 21:11

X-posts Diva, ha ha, you have fallen for my "mature" facade!!

divastrop · 08/01/2007 21:13

the plant was 'audrey two',it sang a song called 'feed me' when it got fed up drinking blood and wanted to eat whole people

this baby is doing strange things recently.ive started a thread here if anybody can help?

OP posts:
AmieR · 08/01/2007 22:10

oh how I love the Little shop of horrors!

Gonna watch that baby borrowers tonight to try and ease my mind.. "if they can do, I gotta stand some chance" kind of thing... maybe!

kiwibella · 08/01/2007 23:09

gee, Diva... I hope you feel better after the suggestions on your other thread. That is sorta how I was feeling yesterday - completely crap and being upright was so uncomfortable. It's good to know.

eidsvold · 09/01/2007 04:35

starting to get a real wobble on now!!

had an early morning hospital appt with dd1 - had to be out of the house by 7am - shock after having lazy mornings. We are well and truly up by then but still skulking in our in pjs. Thankfully the opthamologist was very pleased with her eyesight and we are now on yearly appts - so little one will be a number of months old rather than newborn.

Am a little concerned as dd1 had a paed appt on 26th of Mar and that is the date I am hoping to have my c-section. So i arranged for it to be brought forward a week - so no early birth for me!!

Went and bought some fabric today to cover the moses basket a friend is lending me. Nice beige bear and blocks sort of design. THe baby's room is decked out in pink curtains etc for the moment as dd2 is still in there. If this one turns out to be a boy then I will change the decor - otherwise not going to bother yet. The baby will be in with us for a while anyway.

Also managed to get fab fabric to do new curtains for the dds' room - need to get started on that.

Think I am mainly sorted with everything either bought or on layby for no3. Started sorting through clothes ready to wash and put in drawers for no3. Just need to pick up the moses basket and buy a new matress. Then I think I will be finished.

eidsvold · 09/01/2007 04:41

oops that should have been waddle not wobble!!

3rdTriMossTer · 09/01/2007 06:26

Diva hope you got the advice you needed on your other thread. I really wouldn't know the answer I'm afraid!

Eids, I waddle, but I think I also wobble like one of those things I think they're called weebles? They wobble from side to side but they don't fall down?

I'm having two slices of toast and a blueberry muffin for breakfast right now.... mmmmmmmm... there is also a chocolate muffin in the fridge but it would be really greedy to have that as well, wouldn't it?

38 working days until I start my maternity leave!

EDD 27th March
29 weeks today!
Boy

LunarSea · 09/01/2007 07:37

eidsvold - can't believe you're so organised to have everything ready. I've done nothing yet except get all the junk cleared out of what will be the baby's room. And even that was only because we were using it as a guest room over Christmas. Not sure when/if we will really get a chance to do things before baby arrives tbh, as my employers still think I'm working until a week after EDD!

Back to school for ds today - and we've somehow lost his book bag over Christmas! Fortunately it was empty, so worst case I'll get him another one. Bump has grown a lot in the last couple of weeks though - wonder how long I'll need to add on to the time it takes me to walk to the school?

foxabout2pop · 09/01/2007 09:09

Lunar I'm walking really slowly too and its making me slightly late for work

Made an official complaint today about the heat levels in our office - have played the pregnancy card as all my team keep complaining about it too, but I am saying its a H&S hazard and if its not adjusted they'll have to let me work from home (trouble is that won't help my team or solve the situation for everyone else will it)?

Lunar R U returning to work after LO is born? I can't remember what you said.

Feedme - I'm very impressed with your superior knowledge and your memory of what Maureen actually said in that episode!!! Am seriously considering starting a Dr Who geeks thread

Amie - I'm the oldest on this thread at 43, but would rather be in your position

Kitty - that poor boy; he must have felt awful!!

Eids - wow you are so organised!!! I've washed and put the newborn clothes in a drawer ready for LO and will wash the teeny moses sheets etc in the next couple of weeks so we can set the moses basket up. I think I'm going to use the same mattress though - partly as I'm not sure where to buy a new one. We used the same mattress for DS and DD and it was third hand the first time we used it!! (my sister used it for her two)

Baby is moving so much now its uncomfortbale. I saw a website yesterday which said that 32 weeks is the peak movement wise, so hopefully he'll settle down a bit when he fattens and has less room to kick me

32+2 (boy)

3rdTriMossTer · 09/01/2007 09:23

Lunar your employers are gonna get a big shock soon enough when they realise you're not gonna be there... Have they started looking for your maternity cover yet, can't remember if you said?

Foxy start the thread, start the thread! I'll post on it, anyway!

Firstone · 09/01/2007 09:35

Hi

This is my first time on here, so very new to all of this.

I am due on 11th march.

Is there anyone from Wroughton, Swindon who is also expecting? I have been looking out for a mother and baby meeting for after the birth but cant seem to locate any.

Would be grateful if someone could give me some info.

3rdTriMossTer · 09/01/2007 09:37

Foxy meant to say something else then but just at that moment Darth walked past so I had to post, quickly, and disappear!!

And now I've forgotten what I was going to say. Never mind. It was something to do with you saying about the health and safety aspects of the heat levels in your office. Just imagine it was an ever so witty remark that would have had you rotfpysl.

I read this on Baby Centre today, on the entry for 29 weeks:

As your appetite increases to match your baby's third trimester growth spurt, try to resist eating too many cakes, sweets and fast food snacks.

Well now, that's gonna happen

3rdTriMossTer · 09/01/2007 09:38

Hello Firstone and welcome

I'm from oop North I'm afraid! Have you looked in the meet-up section as well?

Firstone · 09/01/2007 09:46

Hi Thirdtrimosster

Thanks for that I will have a look and see what is about, should have thought about that before!

3rdTriMossTer · 09/01/2007 09:49

Firstone, do stick around here as well though! Come for the advice (I am a first timer as well), everyone is really helpful, but stay for the scintillating chat!

Rosylily · 09/01/2007 09:53

Firstone I'm due on the 11th too! I'm in N.I. but I'll be flying over for any meet ups with all my children

Am amused by you Dr Who geeks I watch it the odd time, really fancy DT but that is because I'm a Harry Potter geek and he is a sexy baddie in that! Being almost as ancient as Foxy, I used to watch Dr who first time round as a child, thought it was scarey then!

Well I am still not a bit ready for baby but getting hyper when I think of everything needing done. Eidsvold you are an inspiration and I like the way you do lots of sewing, I used to do that and maybe one day will again, actually not long ago I did make a lovely dress for dd's dolly.

My mind has gone blank about my weeks 31 or something (boy)
