Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 40th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

well the shower is her 3rd (3rd baby), but i'm not sure it was her idea and we're basically going out for afternoon tea so should be quite nice :)

MollyBloomYes · 13/11/2015 12:49

My mum's doing me a shower this time around. She wanted to do one last time but I lived too far away so I didn't get one It's basically an excuse for tea and cake and a catch up with friends I haven't seen for a while though my best friend is plotting ridiculous games. She had some brilliant ones for my hen though so I'll trust her!

Thursday was it you who's planning an elcs this time around? I really really want one now, just want to remove the fear and unknown! They're really pushing vbac though, so if they do agree not sure how they'll react to my request for a 'natural' c section. Might be a case of 'you get what you're given if this is what you want to do' Confused

FeatheredTail · 13/11/2015 12:59

I'm taking pregnancy vitamins because I've gone from being a home cooking, clean eating, fruit munching, chia seed swilling health nut to - basically - having the kind of diet you see on channel 4 programmes about morbidly obese children.

jellypi3 · 13/11/2015 13:27

same feathered Grin the house move means all our pots and pans have been packed, so it's sainsburys ready meals for me lol (we're not moving till friday next week............)

gouda i'd just preach some caution around eating only at meal times. I was doing this and that's how i ended up in MAU. I got a telling off from the MW and the consultant there because they said you need to eat little and often, not 3 times a day, more like every 1-2 hours, something small and healthy (or choclolate, they did tell me to eat chocolate...) So i've been doing this, however yesterday I didn't eat between 7 and 11am due to work meetings and I felt so ill because of it.

lildottie · 13/11/2015 15:19

Just checking in. Finding it difficult to keep up so favouring fb atm. Have rtft but now have no idea who said what.

On the birthing front, i'm petrified of having to have an epidural! The idea of someone near my spine with a needle freaks me out so planning to buy an epi-no and keep my fingers crossed! I've found relaxation cd's helpful so plan to find something similar for birth but don't think i'd bother with books. way too involved for me! i'm lazy!!

Too much work and not enough time lately. Will come back when i can :(

TriJo · 13/11/2015 15:32

I accidentally'd a whole bag of Terry's Chocolate Orange Toffee Crunch at work yesterday, that stuff is absolute catnip to me and only £1 a bag... I'm healthy most of the time, it won't kill me, right?

Little man is super active today - moving a hell of a lot and when I bent down to pick up my cardi off the ground at lunchtime he gave a single really hard kick as if to say "ffs stop squishing me!"...

ThursdayLastWeek · 13/11/2015 16:28

I feel ill if I don't eat for too long. But I'm ok with staving it off Grin

molly yes - I am having an elcs this time. TBH I never even considered attempting a vbac and luckily I had a v sympathetic and no nonsense consultant. When we met him, he basically told me what went wrong with DS birth, asked me how I'd like to deliver, agreed with me, booked it in.

If I were in your position id be totally unable to enjoy this pregnancy - I think the fear of the 'known' is much much worse than of the Unknown IYSWIM?

I have a bladder infection. That's what I get for being a pregnant sex pest... Screw being thin. I just want to be comfortable. Yes to chocolate orange bites! I like the popping candy one. I also brought myself a sleeve of Maoam blocks instead of the glass of wine I have been dreaming of... Ba Baby is happy and active though and thanks to jelly our girls will get to see her at the scan tomorrow!

honeysucklejasmine · 13/11/2015 19:19

Oh Sky! Boo for bladder infection but fantastic that you can take the girls along to the scan! Enjoy your trip to London!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 13/11/2015 19:49

Thanks honey! We live in London but clear the other side. DP already trying to convince me to stay home and rest. Boo.

MollyBloomYes · 13/11/2015 20:28

Thursday yes that's exactly it! I just feel I'm going to go in labouring, adrenaline will go up, panic will set in and I'll end up with emergency situation again. Much better to have a calm nice environment, just need medics to agree with me! Just had a voicemail from consultant midwife wanting to see me to discuss everything so yet another hoop to go through but I'll get there

I could go for chocolate. I've got ice cream and meringue nests. Acceptable substitute.

honeysucklejasmine · 13/11/2015 20:42

Tell him go knob off Sky. If I were going I would have to drive 20 mins to station, get half hour train in to North London station, then tube to destination. Prob take well over an hour and cost us lots, as the train station seem completely unable to sell a return ticket go a specific tube stop, and insist I need a travel card, and my mainline station is zone 1 so it has to be a zones 1-6 card too! Bum!

ThursdayLastWeek · 13/11/2015 20:53

Oh no UTIs are the worst, you have my sympathy sky.

I hope you can get some resolution and soon molly. I feel exactly the same as you, I'd be panicking from first contraction, convinced I couldn't do it.
One of the things that hampered my recovery was that the anaesthetist struggled to get the epidural in while I was contracting and I had an epidural headache for 10 days after as a result - so I think NOT being in labour will help me be more confident they won't cock it up again!

I just had a packet of prawn cocktail crisps for my afters...the shame.

Rant alert... Df is usually fab, but sometimes Angry Angry Angry

Just hadna conversation that made my blood boil! I was moaning that my tummy is getting all wobbly already, because I'm eating so much (even with the pills the doc gave me, if I'm even slightly hungry I dry heave). Df said 'yeah, well I think it's just a case of making sure you eat well'. I said yes, in theory, but even thinking about certain foods makes me ill. 'Well... I think you have a tendency to over think things and let your brain get the best of you.'

So... This is all in my head, and I need to just think about something else, and the constant nausea and dry heaving and horror will just magically disappear!

Angry Angry Cake Angry

I'm sure he means well, but I could happily tear him a new one right now! Venting on here in the interest of family harmony...

honeysucklejasmine · 13/11/2015 21:44

Shock Kate that's so ridiculous! DH might think I am mental about not eating white meat, but he's wise enough to just accept it.

FeatheredTail · 13/11/2015 21:47

Kate, your DF wants to see the delicious healthy salad I made today. Oh wait....I'll show you a picture...

KateBeckett · 13/11/2015 21:48

I know! He is so good and understanding in so many over ways... But is also a very 'mind over matter' person. And obviously can't understand ms, as he's never going to get it! I think it was when I said just looking at a certain food box makes me heave he went a bit Hmm

He did get rid of the offending smelling soap in the bathroom for me without saying anything though!

Also, sorry I haven't rtft, was too busy ranting, and now need to collapse in bed. Will catch up tomorrow, hope you are all okay! Flowers

KateBeckett · 13/11/2015 21:49

Feathered Grin nom!

lildottie · 13/11/2015 21:51

I just said to my mum about how I know I'm talking about how I feel lots bit I'm not complaining yet and she just laughed. Bitch. Apparently tiredness is not a pg symptom and I'm just fat. You wouldn't think she'd had 5 kids. And with her lack of sensitivity youwouldbt think I'd only got here after 3years and 2 rounds of ivf. As for dh, at least I could put his balls in a vice, but DM I just have to tolerate!

honeysucklejasmine · 13/11/2015 23:55

Maybe make a little voodoo doll, Lil? Stress relief, obvs. Wouldn't be nice to do if voodoo actually worked though.

fruitlovingmonkey · 14/11/2015 08:19

Just catching up and I think hooyahs are needed all round...not for viroids but for miroids and movs (mums of viroids).
Kate I've gone from daily spinach smoothies to practically living off bread and salt and vinegar crisps. I've also wasted food normal non preggo me hates food waste by buying things I think I want, then changing my mind and I can't face them for the next week as they sit in my fridge going bad.
Lil tiredness is definitely a symptom. Every pg has different symptoms so having 5 of the doesn't necessarily make you an expert on other people's.
I'm feeling emotional and worried about bringing a child into this hideous world this morning. Sad

lildottie · 14/11/2015 08:41

It's awful isn't it fruit but it was lovely to see the French people rally together, with people leaving the football stadium singing the national anthem and taxi drivers turning off their meters to take ppl home.

honeysucklejasmine · 14/11/2015 09:11

Yes, and offering overnight accommodation to people stuck in the city with that open door hashtag. Well done Paris.

jellypi3 · 14/11/2015 09:29

It's horrifying in Paris. My mum was up all x night looking for my brother but he was safe thankfully. Those poor people. :(

In other news I'm also off for a scan today, can't wait to see bubba again

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 14/11/2015 09:37

jelly my appointment is at 3:30. You'll know me by my pink hair and the adorable girls in tow with my DP...

I've just had a massive poo clearout in the loos at the church where DD does tap. Some of the heavier logs won't flush and are just hanging out at the bottom of the bowl. It isn't plugged so I am not sure what to do? Should I go to the office and confess? Blush
