Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 40th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Yeah having a bit of a wobble on finances. I won't get anything more than smp as I work in a small make orientated business

CountryGal4 · 02/12/2015 20:49

*male

5hell · 02/12/2015 21:01

yeah only smp here too ...just a bit of a stingy company - they even stopped doing childcare vouchers recently!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 02/12/2015 21:03

Present! Thanks for thinking of me fruit! I have been keeping up on Fred I just have been a bit busy last few days. The feeling sad about difficult client went away. I hired a lawyer who put them in their place quick smart and now it is looking like I might even get a settlement from them... It turns out the contract we had isn't as ironclad as they thought Grin and they have basically invalidated it by breeching it themselves with their irrational behavior... Seriously awesome work on my lawyers part. If anyone ever needs something settled quickly he is fantastic. I have quickly gotten used to my new partially kept status and have spent the last few days doing Xmas shopping, visiting friends, and preparing some creative work I am now relaxed enough to undertake... I also found out I have a huge project starting next summer with my absolute favorite client so the guilt/pressure of not earning as much has been massively lifted. The only reason I haven't been posting is that I have run myself a bit ragged with trips in to Central and the shopping centre Xmas Blush

Molly glad to hear you so proactive. If you do decide to divorce you can DIY it. I did that with XH. It took about a year because there were some errors with forms but it was much cheaper than using solicitors.

Hope everyone is ferling better this eve BrewFlowersCakeChocolate

Ah thanks sky I was sure there was a way if we decided to. Main thing is sorting finances, have to make sure debts are covered and sorted. They're not even bad debts, couple of credit cards, overdraft and a graduate loan. Monthly repayments have all been fine. But they might not be once he has to start sorting out rent and bills on somewhere else. The tit. And yet there still this little voice that says that he'll come to his senses...inevitable I suppose after not even two weeks Hmm

Glad to hear everything on the up for you sky and Kate how lovely to have all the excitement of telling!

I miss poas. The excitement and squinting. DS was a really good clear one so had all the excitement straight away. This one was several squinters over several days so bit of a slow burn. Funny to miss that!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 02/12/2015 21:59

I miss poas too. I am a bit sad that this will be the last time... I am just too old and tired to do this again!

MollyBloomYes · 02/12/2015 22:16

I was in two minds. Could be decision out of hands now I guess! Even if I do meet someone else having a repeat cs does make things a bit trickier conception and pregnancy wise but I was aware of that. Will have two gorgeous children anyway and how could I possibly be sad about that? Smile

pretzelpieces · 02/12/2015 22:34

Ugh! Just had a stupid argument on the way back from nct. Asked DP if he wants to cut the cord, he said no he's not remotely interested. I said Oh good cause I didn't really want you to. And now he's all offended about it. Ffs! He didn't give two shits about doing it and now he's offended that I don't want him to! Tosser.

Well done for sorting your tricky client sky.

I most definitely do not miss POAS.
I wrapped up most of my Xmas gifts today while listening to Xmas music. Not feeling very festive though. Too grumpy! Xmas Angry

honeysucklejasmine · 02/12/2015 22:36

Absolutely Molly! Two gorgeous little babies to treasure forever!

honeysucklejasmine · 02/12/2015 22:38

Pretzel Angry V unreasonable to say he isn't interested then throw a strop! How is NCT going?

pretzelpieces · 02/12/2015 22:46

Exactly honey! I'm quite enjoying nct (while being horrified and terrified of labour of course). Still a slog to go of an evening when it's cold and dark out but I think it's alright once I'm there and there's so much chance to ask my questions. Very jealous of your gammon Envy Grin

pretzelpieces · 02/12/2015 22:46

And I'm glad DP is getting informed even if he then chooses to be very irritating about it. Hmm

honeysucklejasmine · 02/12/2015 22:51

See I am not worried about labour per se, I have horrendous periods so used to the "uterus attempting to rip itself to shreds" agony that is what I imagine contractions feel like. I am worried about the pushing part, as I do not have faith in the relaxin hormones ability to help me stretch. I shall be seeing how the vaginal exams go, then kicking up a stink. or just accepting it quietly to avoid being a bother then tearing in to a million pieces

pretzelpieces · 02/12/2015 22:53

It's since all this diabetes stuff and talk of induction I've been a lot more anxious. It's the thought of all medical stuff happening and people being around and not having a clue who they are. When I'm in pain I generally want to be left well alone by everyone... That's clearly not going to happen. Ugh.

Are you worried cause of the scar tissue honey? Definitely keep pushing (sorry!) for what you need.

pretzelpieces · 02/12/2015 22:54

Yeah my friend has always had awful periods and she's had two very straightforward births with quite large babies, she reckons it's thanks to dealing with similar pain before.

honeysucklejasmine · 03/12/2015 07:21

Yeah I am. But every time I bring it up I get waved off with either 1) relaxin is magic or 2) if I am anxious about the birth I can book counselling.

I don't want counselling, I want assurance that they will look at the situation as it develops and won't insist on a vaginal delivery if it is not looking good. I don't want a C section, just reassurance that if it is needed it will be done. I found the speculum exams I had last fortnight very painful and that's a lot smaller than a baby. Or a hand.

CarrotPuff · 03/12/2015 08:03

I'm much better fruit, thanks. Was feeling better yesterday, although my stomach did feel a bit funny. Back to normal today.

Sky this all sounds very positive, I'm glad things are looking much better.

pud I had a water birth and I did start bleeding whilst in the pool. It looked like a scene from those shark attack movies! I can't remember leaving a bloody trail while walking from the pool to the bed though.

pretzel don't despair, you can always say once you arrive to hospital "I know you need to keep an eye on things, but I would like to be left alone as much as possible, as that's how I best deal with pain." You can of course get a bitch of a midwife, but not necessarily. Chin up, it will all be fine in the end Thanks

honey sorry you're feeling fobbed off. I hope you find a sympathetic ear soon.

Got a physio appt for spd later today. It's a group session where we'll watch a video, and then they will talk about a few things and do some excercise... Hmm Feels like a bit of waste of time to me, but I thought I'd go anyway in case pain gets worse at later stages.

lildottie · 03/12/2015 08:08

Morning viroids.

jellypi3 · 03/12/2015 08:42

Morning lil (and eveyone else) :) [waves]

32 weeks today. Where is the time going?!?

oneyorkshirepud · 03/12/2015 08:42

Morning Lil! Grin Big day tomorrow!

Carrot, the SPD session may still be useful. I don't think I have had SPD but have had a fair bit of hip/back pain and just following recommendations from the physio did really help. I hope it works for you too. As with most things it has been better since finishing work!

Honey, sorry that you feel fobbed off. Write it on your birth plan in big letters and prep your OH, he needs to be the Guardian of your Fanjo during labour! Grin

Pretzel I should be going to the hippy MLU for birth which would be lovely. I had kind of developed a big thing about going to the big hospital and how bad that would be, loads of people/interventions etc. However, when I had a look on their website they offer mobile monitoring for all, mood lighting and have a pool on the delivery suite. So whilst being transferred to hospital may involve interventions etc they obviously understand and support the idea of natural/hippy birth. I think there is a lot of scare mongering on MN in some natural birthing books etc about the 'big, bad doctors' and this has definitely affected my thoughts about it but I am trying to change my mindset on that and see a transfer/interventions as what may be needed for baby at the time - easier said than done! Can you go for a look around and see what the birthing suite is like? Might make you feel more reassured? Having said that, the best thing that I have read about childbirth was along these lines: 'Having a poo is a natural event. We go to a private place, and get in the best position to allow gravity to do its job. It would be a lot more difficult to have a poo laid on your back with lots of people watching'. Ha ha ha, very true!! So I get the wanting to be left alone thing!

Anything happening for you JC? I had lots of BHs last night and some womble pains but that is nothing new really. DH says we will know before I go into labour as the cats will start being weird!

oneyorkshirepud · 03/12/2015 08:43

Ooh congrats on 32 weeks Jelly, another milestone! 5 weeks until Jelly Baby is fully cooked! EEP!!

fruitlovingmonkey · 03/12/2015 08:45

Hello Sky waves that's great news about your work situation. Your lawyer sounds ace.
Glad you are feeling better Carrot hope your physio session is worthwhile.
I had a busy busy day yesterday. Today is much more relaxed so I can catch up on some things I've been meaning to do for ages.
Morning Lil, how are you? Only one day to go!

Jcandy · 03/12/2015 09:04

Nothing happening here pud BH's, bit of period pain, lots of back ache. The usual for this point as much as I can tell! Still feeling pretty calm and happy to wait at the moment. My mantra of baby will come when it's ready is definitely helping! It also helps that despite the achiness I'm actually enjoying pregnancy for the first time Xmas Smile

Jcandy · 03/12/2015 09:05

Glad your day can be more relaxed fruit

Sounds like a good idea to go carrot means you can get more help later if it turns into even more of an issue

Jcandy · 03/12/2015 09:06

Morning lil Xmas Smile

It's crazy isn't it jelly these last 10 weeks have flown by for me
