Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 40th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

My corgi is exactly the same little loon as always. Is your dog behaving differently mermaid?

pretzelpieces · 28/11/2015 23:02

mermaid my dog lives with my mum and dad and is the same soppy git as always

Mermaid36 · 28/11/2015 23:06

My 2 dogs are being much more clingy than usual...my eldest is very whiny with me and wants to constantly be next to me/touching me....

corgi88 · 28/11/2015 23:08

had a look for the stats list but the link to it in the OP doesn't seem to be working?

fruitlovingmonkey · 28/11/2015 23:38

Mermaid my dog is just the same. I laugh about him thinking I've just got a bit fat! Nice that yours have noticed.

ThursdayLastWeek · 29/11/2015 07:56

Corgi try an couple of posts down - I can't link the stats from my iPad when I start a thread!

I have a Staffie mermaid and while he isn't acting particularly different this pregnancy, with DS he was much more protective of me when we were out and about. It was quite sweet in a toothy kind of way Grin

Morning all, for anyone worried about birthage there are a couple of good threads on the childbirth forum at the mo; one about water births and one about 'things that hurt more than childbirth' (kidney infections apparently, and I've survived one of those!) I'm normally very selective about what I read on the childbirth forum as it can be a bit terrifying sometimes but both of these threads were very positive.

honeysucklejasmine · 29/11/2015 09:06

Morning all.

Well done Molly! Flowers

Reading these posts has made me want a kindle, but I would just want to re read my favourite books when stuck in hospital so it would be a huge waste of money.

My bump is sore. Is that normal? Just a persistent tenderness. Not stabbing or anything.

Also had my first unsolicited bump touch yesterday. It was MIL.

FeatheredTail · 29/11/2015 09:26

Thursday he was quite sweet in a toothy kind of way

Grin Love this!!

ThursdayLastWeek · 29/11/2015 10:12

Staffies tend to look rather toothy whatever they're up to feathered! He's a dope though, and an angel with our rather lively toddler.

How's everyone feeling today?

OP posts:
Peenut · 29/11/2015 10:26

Mermaid YES! My dog is following me everywhere and at any opportunity trying to lie on me. (She's a dalmatian so not the most petite lap dog!) I did a bit of research and pregnancy makes you smell very different to a dog, this can manifest itself in protective behavior or aggression towards you!

Pretzel I too live for the day when we have a kitchen big enough for a dishwasher! I feel my quality of life would be improved significantly! And hey, it's useful for sterilising 2nd hand epi-nos! :)

Molly well done on yesterday's outing –you are being incredibly understanding and reasonable with your other half (even though he is being a massive turd). Must be very difficult but in the long run, whatever may happen, that's so much better for the kids. Hope you are feeling OK today.

Sickness update –spent yesterday sleeping, puking, shivering and sweating, and nursing bad bad ache. Was awful and I actually did think this was how life was going to be for the next few weeks and had an attack of the hypercondriacs thinking I'd have to be admitted to hospital Kate Middleton style for debilitating morning sickness.

Then I realised maybe utter exhaustion, sweating and shivering aren't symptoms of MS? I don't feel sick today, just totally wiped out but have managed to eat one slice of toast and a bit of porridge. Thinking I have a bug of some sort? Sort of relieved if that is what it was because I seriously would cry if that's how I am going to feel on a regular basis but at the same time I'm worried about the bean also having the bug?

Anyone else had random days of constant puking then felt better?

pretzelpieces · 29/11/2015 10:44

Yeah that sounds like a bug pee. Hope you feel better today Flowers

thurs Grin at your toothy dog!

pud thanks, I'll check those threads out. I'm going to a "fear release" session at the hospital a week Thursday as well. This induction thing has really given me the willies lol

honeysucklejasmine · 29/11/2015 10:46

I think JC had pretty severe MS.

I would recommend seeking help from doctor if it becomes unbearable. Don't just put up with it.

5hell · 29/11/2015 10:56

My dogs barely seem to have noticed stupid chocolate labs except maybe sniffing me a bit more recently

Shopping was OK, made a start at least, and made it back to the car just in time to avoid the £20 'all day' charge for being over 5h ...that would not have been good!!!

Off for Sunday pub lunch with a bunch of friends n kids - yum!!!

Peenut · 29/11/2015 11:06

£20 parking, ouch! That would have been a blow 5hell! Well done on starting the crimbo shopping!

Good advice Honey, I'll see how it goes the next few days. Hopefully this isn't going to happen regularly and was just a bug. Not like me to catch tummy bugs, colds yes but I've usually got quite a strong stomach.

Watching crap Sunday telly but it's all about food, bleurgh. Can't watch!

FeatheredTail · 29/11/2015 11:58

Just had a late breakfast of homemade waffles, streaky bacon and maple syrup. NOMNOMNOM. Now exhausted and back in bed. Meant to be taking iron tablets for bad blood count but they always constipate me. Phhhh. Will take them. And keep the prunes on standby....

Pretzel we go a dishwasher for the first time when we moved into the house. I don't think I've ever seen DH happier. He bloody loves that thing (but he's the type that uses a different mug and glass for every drink he has throughout the day).

FeatheredTail · 29/11/2015 12:00

I love staffies Thursday - used to be a gorgeous silvery one in the park where I used to walk our old bichon frise - he played with our fluff bundle wonderfully, very gentle and sweet!

FeatheredTail · 29/11/2015 12:01

Triple whammy - Pee stay in bed and lounge. Sounds like more than ms.

pretzelpieces · 29/11/2015 15:18

I strayed to other threads and I'm never leaving again clings

First I terrified myself on the childbirth threads, then I gave myself social anxiety by reading about NCT friendships, then I learnt that I am 'grabby' because I'm organising my own baby shower (it's not really a proper baby shower, I want to go for afternoon tea with a few close friends before the baby comes).

Staying with the JSers forever, thanks.

ThursdayLastWeek · 29/11/2015 15:41

Oh pretz I organised my wedding whilst on MN. It was about the most confidence knocking thing that's ever happened to me!

Sorry, that was meant to be less me me me, and more understanding pretzel.

oneyorkshirepud · 29/11/2015 15:54

Noooooooo, don't go on the 'other threads', with the 'other people'! Bad idea!! Grin And only read the child birth threads specially selected by your Aunty Pud! None of those scary things actually happen in my world, it's all whale music and candles.

MollyBloomYes · 29/11/2015 16:45

What do you guys think of the boys name Brennan? I don't know if I want the name me and H picked out, though I still quite like the girls name. Worried Bren for short sounds too girly.

oneyorkshirepud · 29/11/2015 16:53

I like it Molly.

Daisy birthers; trying to put together my script for birth (my Dad is a hypnotherapist so is going to record it for me), and I'm going to write down some key phrases for DH to keep me calm/focused too. But I feel like I have forgotten lots of things from Daisy Birthing already! These are the things I can remember:
Relax your jaw
Send lots of oxygen down to baby
Blow the breath away
Something about riding a wave??
Rotate to dilate

Anything else would be helpful, I kept falling asleep in the relaxation sessions at the end so can't remember what was said in the sessions - oops!!

MollyBloomYes · 29/11/2015 17:25

Did you come up with any personal mantras? Mine was 'I am confident in this birth' seem to remember 'my cervix ripples open' at some point. Not sure about the wave one which is going to annoy me
