I don't think there is a thread for the July moms yet!
I'm due on July 2nd, just 4.5wks at the mo, but feel like I've known for ages as got a positive 5 days early on an early response! No real symptoms so far just a bit of cramping and some instant extra weightHalloween Biscuit.
This is dc3 for us. Haven't made any appointments yet. Looking forward to the next 8 months!

Flowers sorry to hear about your MIL we are in a similar position. MIL has stage 4 cancer. She has a scan tomorrow it's not good news we will tell her.

Bluebell how exciting I love it when you get the call from the midwife to book in that's always when it starts to really kick in for me.

Photographer yes you always have an appointment at 8 weeks with the midwife. However, if you have already had a baby with no complications they sometimes don't see you as often as the first time.

I cried at the doctors today. It's because I took her in flowers and got all emotional. She said the midwife will call with my appointment. She made me feel really important and gave her congratulations. The only thing she did say that was not always but sometimes a test showing so early means twins. ShockI don't know how we would cope going from 3-5 children. I'm sure you've all had tests show early though and have gone on to have singleton pregnancies right??

I had a wave of nausea this morning but it went quickly. I'm feeling ok it's just the tiredness. I am constantly yawning. I can't stop peeing either and it's really strong even though I drink lots of water. Boobs are a little sore and have gone up a cup size already.

Hope you're all feeling better and flowers I'm sorry to hear about your milThanks.
I had a phone call from the midwife yesterday - went through everything on the phone and she asked me and my husband to decide whether we want the Down syndrome test so that she can get the ball rolling and book in our appointments... I had no idea that we'd have to decide so quickly given its such a difficult decision! Feeling ok just exhausted today! Also she didn't mention a booking appointment and reading that so many of you guys are getting your dates etc has worried me a bit!

Bluebell20 · 04/11/2015 16:42

Sorry to hear about your MIL as well, Beautician :(

Is anyone else feeling constantly hungry? I have a huge appetite / high metabolism anyway, but at the moment I can't seem to go more than 2 hours without eating something! So far today I've had a big bowl of muesli with extra nuts, a banana, a rice cake, a large vegetable stew with toast, crackers with cheese and chutney... AND NOW I'M STARVING HUNGRY AGAIN! ARGGGHHH!

Bluebell20 · 04/11/2015 16:43

Oh, I forgot - also had a pickled egg!

Oh my life!

Flowersonthewall · 04/11/2015 16:48

Sorry to hear about your mil too beautician it really has made her day she is determined to be here for when the baby comes.

I've had some nausea today not all day thank goodness am worried about getting as ill ad I was with my first because I'm not sure ill cope with it very well!

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 04/11/2015 16:54

Oh Bluebell your booking in appointment is on the same day as mine!

Been sick three times today. Lovely. I feel mostly OK at the moment though.

Bluebell20 try nuts. They are a fatty snack and fill you up. I am coeliac so with roping no sugar in to that I am hoping to avoid the massive hunger and weight gain (gained sooooo much last time). So have a bag of mix nuts at my desk. I am definitely eating more the last few days than before with waves of nausea but hoping I miss the morning sickness boat.

BeauticianNotMagician81 Twins... My DH would faint, he is the house husband so I can't imagine leaving him next January to return to work with twins. Please him he is pushing 44 and already feels like he is going to be the oldest dad in the world. Sorry to hear about your MIL by the way.

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut sorry to hear you have been sick. Seems it caught you early. Hope it turns around soon.

Photographer don't Grin. I'm sure it's not twins. I don't know what we would do house wise as they would have nowhere to sleep. We will all get to find out at our scans. I'm really hoping we all get to find out before Christmas.

Thank you for the kind messages about MIL. She was diagnosed last year. She seems to be doing pretty well considering. Unfortunately they are concerned about water on the brain so scanning her tomorrow. I really hope it's nothing.

Wellthen · 04/11/2015 18:29

Hi all. Bit of nausea today and my skin has gone insane! Very annoying.
Went to the docs about the pain. She didn't seem concerned but has booked me in for a scan on Friday. It might be a vaginal scan which I'm not hugely pleased about but am really looking forward to seeing my little embryo! Just have to prepare myself for no heartbeat yet.

Beautician how early was your test? I got a faint positive 2 days before my period was due. Also what a very unhelpful thing for her to say!

Anyone getting a bloating 'bump'? I don't feel bloated to be honest but have a definite little curve forming. I know its not 'baby' but I am a little loathe to call it bloating. Surely its just your uterus pushing stuff upwards. And a little weight being put on of course!

Wellthen · 04/11/2015 18:30

Oh and I'm 5+5

Hamsolo · 04/11/2015 18:30

There's a bit of me would like twins (and a very rational part that knows that's crazy!)

CultureSucksDownWords · 04/11/2015 18:39

I was panicking wondering about twins as well given my early test and strong nausea! I'm sure it won't be :-)

Photographerlady, your DH is not going to be the oldest dad in the world - my DP is also 44 and regularly stresses about being too old!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 04/11/2015 19:06

Wellthen ahh it will be lovely to see your little bean and get that added reassurance.

I tested at 10dpo so not super early. I think it's because I mentioned how shocked I was to have an early BFP as with my boys I've always tested negative until about 4 days after Af.

I'm with you on the 'bump'.

Anyone else got huge boobs already? I can't wait to get my bra off when I get home each day.

Cheers photographer, I will try the nuts thing! Felt a bit icky this morning - nothing major, but just a sort of 'uh-oh' feeling of things getting going!

I'm going to try to start a pregnancy timelapse video this weekend. Feel like I'm tempting fate by starting now, but if I wait till 12 weeks I will already have a bump, won't I?! (Hopefully!)

Bluebell20 · 05/11/2015 10:45

Whoops, forgot to add:

Jem01 · 05/11/2015 12:13

BeauticianNotMagician81 yes me too! I'm sure I've gone up a cup size already.

Got a call today confirming my 12 week scan will be on Fri 18th Dec. So pleased it's before Christmas.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 05/11/2015 12:20

Jem glad I'm not alone. I feel like people will guess due to the size of my chest.

We have a bonfire party on Saturday that we are hosting. I've just added some alcohol free koppaberg cider to my online shopping basket. I'm hoping no one will notice. The bottles are exactly the same just alcohol free printed on the front but it's not super noticeable.

So jealous of you all getting midwife appointment dates and scan dates. I can't wait for mine. I was hoping I would hear by the end of the week from the midwife.

I'm off to get my flu jab this evening. What larks. My appointment is with the GP (odd, as I thought it would be a nurse) so I thought I'd ask about extra folic acid whilst I'm there.

Feeling sick today - I've only actually been sick once (first thing) but I feel really queasy. It's grim.

SoniaShoe · 05/11/2015 13:56

hello everyone

that's great jem you've got your 12 week scan booked in. think you're the first one. would be really good to get them before xmas.

i woke up this morning with really sore sensitive boobs! and they seem to be growing already. and my belly has definitely expanded. i keep having to undo my trousers underneath my top and hope they don't fall down. will be wearing the belly belt soon.

bluebell that sounds like a great idea about the bump timelapse video. are you going to do it with photos and then merge them? i saw a lovely one on facebook yesterday i'll try and find it and link it here..

photographerlady · 05/11/2015 14:00

Bluebell20 timelapse sounds like a cool idea

Jem01 thats great news right before the holidays

My hunger has returned today, ate an entire tub of garlic stuffed olives for lunch and a massive ham and avocado salad. I am sure I am going to regret that as I am in meetings all day. Still slightly low GI eating so many low carb but lots of extra green veggies, nuts and berries. Lost over 4 stone last year so trying to not go crazy this pregnancy. More keeping my blood sugar regulated than weight.

SoniaShoe · 05/11/2015 14:32

ok i can't find that video but i like this one - hope link works:

photographer that sounds like a really healthy lunch to me! ooh quite fancy some avacado now. i put on 3 stone last pregnancy (i was 3 stone heavier after the baby had come out..) so i'm going to be more careful this time as it took me a couple of years to lose it.

Loki17 · 05/11/2015 17:42

Tentatively saying hello....I got my bfp today! I'm Loki, this is number 2 for me, I have a 4 year old dd. Symptoms are so different this time from last time. Last time, the smell of chocolate made me feel sick at 10 dpo which tipped me off. I had sore boobs but from about 6 weeks and the nausea wasn't too bad - I was never sick. This time, I didn't get the sensitive smell first (although that has kicked in today!) my boobs are stingy rather than achy and now they are agony! I also feel really hungry and really sick. I dry wretched a bit today! That's completely new! I'm so excited and so terrified. Anyway lovely to meet everyone! Likely to need some hand holding in the coming weeks x

beckslovestimmy · 05/11/2015 17:46

Hi and welcome Loki Smile

CultureSucksDownWords · 05/11/2015 17:49

Hi Loki, and congratulations! I've got stingy boob pain too, which is really annoying me today. No sickness, but fairly constant nausea, nice. Chocolate is what I'm craving which is quite unusual for me.

EllieJayJay · 05/11/2015 18:26

Hello Ladies, hoping you don't mind me jumping in on the thread!

Just had my positive last Monday, and believe I am due around 8th July :)

This is my first child so rather nervous!

No nausea as of yet but killer sense of smell and so many other symptoms worse for me are that my boobs have increased massively already and running down stairs is near impossible without clutching onto them for dear life (sigh from me, smiley DP) and extreme exhaustion... Smiles from me whilst DP steps up on the housework ;)

Off to read through the July posts now :)
