I don't think there is a thread for the July moms yet!
I'm due on July 2nd, just 4.5wks at the mo, but feel like I've known for ages as got a positive 5 days early on an early response! No real symptoms so far just a bit of cramping and some instant extra weightHalloween Biscuit.
This is dc3 for us. Haven't made any appointments yet. Looking forward to the next 8 months!

Welcome hopes nice to meet you :)

Gx I'm part of the constantly hungry club :) if I don't eat I feel dizzy and a bit sick so I am snacking on grapes, packets of crackers carrots, the occasional baby bel or cookie - but very much eating when hungry and no morning sickness yet for me thank goodness, I'm having about six eating sessions/mini meals a day rather than my usual 2/3 and whilst I'm having massive food aversions I really have had no morning sickness - feeling of queezy because I'm hungry but nothing like I expected I am also finding drinking tesco finest orange & Ginger sparkling juice very helpful (about £2 a bottle but last a while) - I also have to eat at about 3am in the morning :) nearly woke up DP nibbling on a cracker the other morning lol.

I called my surgery and they booked me straight in with MW when I went to pick up my booking pack but did also see a doctor, but you don't have too in most practises I believe - but personally I wanted to see my doctor for help and advise being my first pregnancy x

Gx91 · 15/11/2015 08:53

Thistledew · 15/11/2015 09:04

Tentatively signing in here - and posting from my phone so can't copy and paste the list, sorry.

Thistledew - 36 - London - DC1 - due 22 July

We had been TTC for 22 months, so I am struggling to believe that I really am pregnant, but two Boots tests, two FirstResponse and one ClearBlue Digital all day that I am.

I also have virtually no symptoms. My boobs are a bit sore, I'm feeling a bit headachy and light-headed in the mornings, and maybe I have been a little more tired and a little more hungry than usual, but that's about it. It's just as well really, as we are moving house this weekend so I have been running up and down stairs with boxes of stuff.

I am hoping that my lack of symptoms is because I am only about 4+2 at the moment, but do have a worry that the hormonal issues that caused all the problems TTC have not yet properly resolved themselves. Still, at least I know that I can get pregnant, even if this one is not sustainable. Fingers crossed that it is though!

We haven't told anyone yet. We are visiting my parents in 2 weeks time and DH's mum usually comes for lunch (they live in the same county) so we will break the news then, and then speak to FIL on Skype.

It is making me a bit anxious reading about everyone's strong symptoms- is there anyone else who is not feeling very pregnant at the moment?

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 15/11/2015 09:08

Hopes hello great to see you here. Your Ds and Dd are the same age as my two Ds were when I was pregnant with ds3.

I'm so worried about my weight this time I'm going to have to excercise. I was so slim when I got pregnant with ds3 and now I'm still 2 stone over that weight I just haven't managed to lose it even though he's 2 & a half. I will be disgusting if I put on too much weight. So far I've lost 5 lbs since I found out I was pregnant I could do with that continuing.

6+3

Cookiesandcoffee · 15/11/2015 09:09

Wow I've missed lots of chat- off to catch up now. Have been forced to take to my bed as hit with a horrible lurgy. Surely there's something we can take other than paracetamol?! It's barely doing anything.

EllieJayJay · 15/11/2015 09:10

Gx assure you it's not always the "good" stuff Smile (garlic bread and Stilton is also quite high up on the list - I live walking distance to dominos :) weirdly though can't have their pizza can eat other pizza but not dominos) I'm drinking a lot of fruit juice as well can't help it and that stuff is calorific, but it is at times all I want and so going for it :) as ultimately it is good for you but I am lucky as fruit is something I have always gone nuts for and is one of my biggest cravings as I'm constantly after sweet things :) but at times I would murder anyone for a cheese fix :)

Interestingly I had lost nearly two stone on WW before becoming pregnant - I put on weight quick despite not changing much (mostly my boobs went from a 36D to a 36E cup by week 5) depressed by this i did some research and actually it is quite common if you have lost weight right before you become pregnant you are more likely to put on weight during your first trimester even if you eat the same sort of things - body adjusts because of it X that made me feel better and I've now not on anything for about ten days so I must be doing something right :) I'm sure another lady who had been dieting before was similar to you and I...

6+2 for me! And only 8 days before my scan!!!

EllieJayJay · 15/11/2015 09:13

cookies I was an assistant pharmacist during uni and thought the use of medication was bleak... As it was 20 years ago I went to speak to a chemist yesterday as have a horrible snuffle nose and nope just paracetamol - unless it gets really bad then you can risk a Vicks nasal thing, but ultimately she said "honey & lemon or breathing in steam"

Big sighs

EllieJayJay · 15/11/2015 09:19

thistledew welcome and congratulations xx

Dont worry about others symptoms some of us are a bit further a long, and everyone is different xx but I can imagine it just be a little disconcerting :) I have symptoms and done a clear blue digital every week watching the week indicator change now at 3+ :)

To give you a bit of comfort I had a friend who never had a single symptom, her boobs got a bit bigger but not much and until the day she felt her baby kick she wasn't convinced she was pregnant - she didn't feel tied, or sick or different at all for weeks :) and she now has a lovely little girl :)

Welcome and we really are becoming such a big group now xx

EllieJayJay · 15/11/2015 09:22

Hope no one minds but as we will soon be at the end of the post allowance on this thread I've started the second one so could post early and we don't loose anyone xx

When you get to page 40 it can just suddenly stop letting you post, so if your on and you get to page 40 of you post the above link we will all find each other again x

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 15/11/2015 09:28

It ends when we get to 1000 posts I think

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 15/11/2015 09:31

Hi Thistle don't worry about symptoms. I don't really have many either. Slightly sore boobs more so one than the other, constant peeing and constipation. At this stage all you can really go by are a positive test and no period.

6+3

Thanks ellie don't want to lose all these lovely ladies. I know this but I just don't want to accept it :( I want Solphadine and I want it now!
Those asking I too like beautician would still continue to get hair died and nails done etc. I think only some massages and oils are a bit a no no. Oh and saunas etc. But everything else will just make you feel better and pregnant ladies deserve a pampering. Lots of nice beauty places and spas offer lovely pregnancy massages but I think some say after 12 weeks?
loki I'm all about the pizza and crisps. And I wouldn't normally eat either of these. Also losing my voice, can't shout at DDs I feel like I'm losing the battle against them. I really wouldn't worry yourself about dd. They do these things once theyre ready. I used to stress but now I don't. I don't see how you can train someone to not wee at night. With dd1 I stopped evening drinks but she did it when ready. And a long time after being dry in the day.. Over a year maybe two.
gx91 in my experience all areas are different with procedure for booking in etc. So much so that mine has been different for all 3 of my pregnancies (at the same surgery!)
melvali sounds like you went through a lot but how amazing you are now pregnant and so so positive! I hope your scar is ok.
indians I've been all over the place- one day that problem then suddenly I'm bunged up.
Such a funny story I'm sorry ha. But very lucky you had a lucky escape! Little people don't forget these things either so you know he would repeat it (probably to all the wrong people!!)
wanting it's 100% normal but driving me crazy. I'm convinced of bad things and rush to the loo also

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 15/11/2015 10:06

I'm in a bit of at state today. I'm convinced I'm going to have a missed miscarriage. My symptoms have basically all gone, and I just feel different. I just have such a bad feeling about it. I've got an 8 week scan booked for Saturday and I'm just sure it will be bad news.

7+2

EllieJayJay · 15/11/2015 10:08

I remember seeing a post that got to page 40 and then it disappeared :( and I didn't want us to loose each other! And I went off line yesterday and came back to about six pages of posts lol - lot of chatter boxes

wantingno2 · 15/11/2015 10:09

Hey cookies I can't help my self but keep checking I keep feeling like something is going to go wrong as I don't have the best history it doesn't help that I can't go to the loo for a no2 for fear of pushing everything else out lol ino I'm being stupid you'd think I didn't already have a child.

EllieJayJay · 15/11/2015 10:10

youandme oh sweetie x try and keep positive you don't know what will happen yet, it could just be your body settling into pregnancy but only you know your body as well as you do X I am going to keep everything crossed for you snd know that we're all here for you to xx

Ellizardo · 15/11/2015 10:11

Thistle - welcome and don't worry. I'm 6+2 with DC2 and don't have many symptoms either. Like beautician, just the need to pee a lot and the odd bout of breathlessness plus knackered in the evening...but no smell/food issues.

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 15/11/2015 10:15

Thanks Ellie. I know that it might be fine, and I can't do anything other than wait and see. I can't really explain it, but I somehow feel totally different all of a sudden: not sick, breasts not sore, not as tired. It just feels as if it might be over Sad

Loki17 · 15/11/2015 10:17

Youandme - Symptoms waiver. Try not to worry. Your worry is probably your hormones anyway! I'm the biggest worrier too so will hold your hand. Think positive and talk to your bubs. I do and it makes me feel better. I talked to it when I was willing the little thing to implant!

Youandme- my symptoms eased overnight, I felt fine for about an hour before bed, then a couple of hours when I got up. It's just hit me again like a wall. So, at the moment they really do come and go. Try not to worry x
