I don't think there is a thread for the July moms yet!
I'm due on July 2nd, just 4.5wks at the mo, but feel like I've known for ages as got a positive 5 days early on an early response! No real symptoms so far just a bit of cramping and some instant extra weightHalloween Biscuit.
This is dc3 for us. Haven't made any appointments yet. Looking forward to the next 8 months!

Pregnancy related. Totally. Happened to me the other day but, luckily, I was at home! Bloody hormones!

Peyia · 14/11/2015 19:18

I'm so sorry Indian but that made me laugh so hard!!! Whilst I was reading I was imagine a trolly just left in the middle of the isle ahahaha

How old is your son? He's cute! My girl tells me I'm cheeky ahaha

redstrawberries101 · 14/11/2015 19:28

Lolll!!! The other day I was about to pee myself, I was literally having sharp pains coz of holding it in.. There was stupid roadworks and every traffic light was red.

The GP has given me a moisturising cream. We have tried steroids in the past. I did see a plastic surgeon last year and he offered me surgery again to remove it but there is a chance it could reoccur. I decided to leave it as I didn't want to make it come back more fierce. He did mention that if I had problems in pregnancy, they could operate during it. It's across my stomach and the shape is like an upside frown !

Ahahahaha sounds like he has a personality!

I must admit, I love a purge! Feel so light afterwards Grin

Peyia · 14/11/2015 19:56

Melvali what were you having removed??

Since the birth of my girl I have zero bladder control. I usually reverse run onto the toilet seat to save time as you can't undo/pull down whilst running forward!!

Loki17 · 14/11/2015 20:18

Indian - I have a four year old dd and I completely get what you mean regarding wetting the bed! DD is still in pull ups at night. She's been dry in the day since 18 months! The hv said that it is a hormonal change that stops them wetting at night and to just be patient because night time toileting can't be trained. I worry though!

Sorry to hear that Melvali (and if it's already in the thread, can't keep up!)

I'm presuming you've made a remarkable recovery and have a new bubba to look forward too Flowers

Aw thanks girls! It happened when I was 21, just over 4 years ago. It really has taken me all this time to lead a normal day though. I still do get very tired quickly and suffer from recurrent infections but i figured we needed something positive to focus on now and if time wasn't going to be more a healer than we might as well go for it :)

Loki17 · 14/11/2015 21:18

Same, Indians! DD'S birthday is the end of July so she is a young one too. MIL makes me feel very insecure because she thinks we should lift her on to the toilet before we go to bed. The hv said not to, but we tried it for 2 weeks and it made no difference at all! I guess she will get there when she is ready.

RoTo72 · 14/11/2015 21:24

Completely off topic, but oh just farted and it sent me rushing to get my head down loo. I cant do laundry as dirty socks absolutely turn my stomach. Iv always had a v strong sense of smell. But this is ridiculous

RoTo72 · 14/11/2015 21:27

Melvali hope everything stays good for you. And as said in thread, wee ba soon to look forward to

redstrawberries101 · 14/11/2015 21:36

Thanks roto! Hope so too

That's ashame about the sense of smell being so strong. Hopefully it will settle soon. I cooked a curry this morning and was fine but afterwards I could smell it loads and it was making me feel really sick. Even the air freshener didn't help, it made it worse. Grin

RoTo72 · 14/11/2015 21:41

It's awful isn't it. I was doing slimming world when I got pregnant. Thought, oh goodie no diet. Everything I missed, eg crisps mayo etc, makes me.sick now. Had takeaway Chinese curry the weekend I found out and it was awful. Lol. I can stomach my homemade ones just

HopesAndDreams15 · 15/11/2015 08:03

I think I'm 5+5 according to LMP but I didn't ovulate until cd10-20 so I'm sure they will work it out at dating scan ! X

HopesAndDreams15 · 15/11/2015 08:41

Congratulations Melvali!

Gx91 I rang my gp on Friday and he wants to see me next week, but that could just be because I've had some fertility investigations...and I'm on the old side...and a bit overweight! Shock

I phoned my gp surgery who took my number and the midwife called me back.

I'm really struggling with food atm. All I want to eat is stodgy carbs. DH bought Domino's last night, which was lovely, but not really helpful! I just can't stand anything that isn't bread or Crisps. I didn't have morning sickness with dd so this is all new to me!

I'm 5+2 today and a bit scared if the morning sickness is meant to kick in at 6 weeks and I already feel so rough! I've got a bug too so I'm losing my voice!
