I don't think there is a thread for the July moms yet!
I'm due on July 2nd, just 4.5wks at the mo, but feel like I've known for ages as got a positive 5 days early on an early response! No real symptoms so far just a bit of cramping and some instant extra weightHalloween Biscuit.
This is dc3 for us. Haven't made any appointments yet. Looking forward to the next 8 months!

Hi ladies!

Sorry morning sickness has been a bit overwhelming here. Really shut me down even the DH said he take over with swimming and football this weekend with our daughter and I'm in bed with grapes and toast.

RoTo72 · 15/11/2015 10:40

Youandme my symptoms vanished towards the end of last week. Having an early scan on Monday that didn't show hb really threw me. Happy to say from wed symptoms came back with vengeance. I too was convinced I wasn't pg anymore. I'm still doing clear blue weeks indicators every few days and yesterdays still came up 3+ weeks. So have settled myself greatly. Mine would come and go at different times during the day.

smallplainblonde · 15/11/2015 10:55

Hi ro, really hope everything is ok. I'll be thinking of you.

My husband's cousin was 21 last night and basically everyone I knew was at the party. I didn't go because I thought if I go and don't drink everyone will assume I'm pregnant. Also I was feeling quite sick and really tired yesterday. I told my friends and husband's family that I have an ear infection but he said everyone seemed to just assume I was pregnant Hmm. It's going to be a long 7 weeks without telling people but having them guessing like that.

Also is anyone else getting lots of spots??

wantingno2 · 15/11/2015 10:58

hi small I seem to be getting them on my back there really itchy to I never get spots either it's weird what pregnancy and all these hormones do to you isn't it x

EllieJayJay · 15/11/2015 11:00

I just posted somewhere else about the monsters on my face :( I've never had spots before - just two but hurt, red and very cross looking...

RoTo72 · 15/11/2015 11:02

I actually have awful skin, but mine cleared right up at v start. I mean I wouldn't mind answering the door without makeup. Lol. Unfortunately skin has got greasier as progressed. Hair too. I could have only washed my hair 2-3 times a week (3 times would be a good week lol) but now every other day. Would prob need every day but I'm too lazy

smallplainblonde · 15/11/2015 11:04

Glad I'm not the only one ladies. My are more like pimples and I can count 6 at the moment. I'm usually quite lucky and have good skin, my mum said this should clear up in the second trimester so fingers crossed!

wanting I know, its crazy how there's so many changes so quickly.

redstrawberries101 · 15/11/2015 11:08

Hi everyone and welcome!

I hope you are all well. Symptoms are definitely coming and going for me too, sometimes in a matter of hours and sometimes after a day or so. Symptoms are sometimes slight and sometimes more severe. I know it's very hard not to worry :( we are all experiencing this journey together! Time is passing really slowly at the moment, I'm trying to take it a day at a time. Only 5 weeks yet so can't afford to get myself into a fluster. Cannot, and I mean cannot be bothered with work this week. I just want to stay cuddled up in my warm bed and relaxing.

Thanks for creating the new thread! Don't want to lose any of you either :) :) :)

I feel like my face is a bit puffy. I was 9.5 stone (put on weight after my op/ medications). Used to be 8 stone but I just never managed to budge it. My doctor did say I must be heavy boned because I don't look it. I'm also worrying though about putting on more weight than required so going to try and focus on fruit and veg. Been having soup for lunch and that's helped the bloatedness quite a bit. However in the evenings I've been craving stodgy carbs, mainly takeaway food :(. Already had a chippie and twice had grilled chicken wrap with fries AFTER my evening meal this week!

When your feeling sick you get to a point you just have what you crave. Twice I've had fish fingers in a roll with cheese and ketchup too, I think that'll be my comfort food throughout this pregnancy

EllieJayJay · 15/11/2015 11:10

Funny you should say about the hair thing, only just twigged that's why I might need to wash it more!

I treated myself to very fancy hair products which I started using a few days after we would have concieved - my hair was suddenly amazing and I thought it was the products lol I wonder if it's another symptom and if so I should ditch the expensive ones until after :) My hair is literally amazing at the moment I keep having to flick it!

The spots are weird for me the rest of my skin is literally glowing just two very red angry zits

wantingno2 · 15/11/2015 11:48

totally got the greasy hair thing going on its horrible I usually wash it once or twice a week but it needs doing all the time now my symptoms seem to have stayed at the same level no drop or ruse boobs are still very sore and been having abit of cramping not painful though how much cramping is considered normal befor you should panic??

Loki17 · 15/11/2015 12:06

I'm feeling a bit wallowy today. I feel so sorry for myself because I've got a crazy busy week at work and I feel so yukky. Then I cry because I am so happy to be pregnant and I feel selfish for wishing I felt better. I need a slap....then a cuddle!

Loki17 · 15/11/2015 12:07

I've been having loads of cramping on and off, wanting. I did with dd too. It is just stretching.

redstrawberries101 · 15/11/2015 12:15

Silly question and don't laugh

Where will the baby be about? Under belly button or around that area?

I'm going to buy some maternity leggings, I'm feeling so very cold even with heating full blast that I'm going to start layering.

Loki17 · 15/11/2015 12:18

Baby is the size of an apple pip so will be low down in your tummy, well below your tummy button.

EllieJayJay · 15/11/2015 12:31

Size of a ladybug according to my app I'm 6+2

Loki big hugs xx I had a cry at everything day on Friday, at one point whilst crying at my DP I could feel myself being completely nuts and then started crying about the fact I was completely nuts and that it wasn't fair - then I saw a Christmas advert and that was it for about two hours... had a nice day yesterday exhausted again today, determined not to just bum out on the sofa though so doing little bits then resting doing little bits and resting but definitely more resting

Mel I keep getting cold then I am sweating it's annoying! I'm living in leggings wore jeans yesterday and was so bloody uncomfortable sure it's just bloating but I look pregnant and everything is tight grr

wantingno2 · 15/11/2015 12:34

glad it's all normal I don't remember much cramping with ds but I can't even remember last week so not unusual for me to forget haha x

Woodsy81 · 15/11/2015 13:01

Hi Everyone

Hope you are well. Have been trying to catch up with the thread. Sorry to those still not feeling well...and I can finally say that I have proper nausea for the first time at 7+3. Feeling ok but not exactly at my best. Was out at a 50th till 1am this morning. Drinking lemonade (in a wine glass) and tea all night!
Had my booking appointment this morning. Midwife took me through my booklet, took blood, tested urine and tested my Co2 levels. She was really lovely and put my mind at ease. She called to say she would be half hour early (while I was standing in a towel, with my hair soaking wet) so it was a mad rush to be ready on time. She said she would try and get us our scan in before Xmas. So here's hoping. DH and I about to settle down for a quiet day of watching Star Wars films which is good cause I am not up to much else. X

RoTo72 · 15/11/2015 13:13

Sounds like a lovely day.

EllieJayJay · 15/11/2015 13:31

Sounds lovely Woodsy! Not sure how you did until 1am!! God my life has changed so much in the last few weeks :) and amazing on the midwife appointment I think they should do them much earlier for ladies I'm pleased yours went well xx

I have a horrible feeling I might be about to board the morning sickness train... have had this funny feeling in my cheeks all morning... Have the SeaBands on in preparation and drinking ginger beer... Really had hoped I'd escaped this :s

Cookiesandcoffee · 15/11/2015 14:15

To those with spots - I have had awful awful skin for about 3 weeks now! Spot after spot and really greasy skin. Just dawned on me that I've been washing my hair about twice as much as normal recently - I put it down to my greasy skin around my forehead etc. I had an event last night and just wanted to hide in the corner with my cleverly disguised lemonade I felt so gross. Anyone else?!

Gx91 · 15/11/2015 15:10

Hey all I'm not feeling up to much today either , and I'm also freezing my ass off ! Hands and feet r so cold ! I have 2 jumpers and slippers on and the heating on and it's not helped yet !

Gx91 · 15/11/2015 15:12

EllieJayJay · 15/11/2015 15:28

Waves at Gx yes me, constantly, most out of character am a complete ditz 90% of the time - often feel drunk ;) I do also have low BP so that can be a cause :)

I often have to apologise for my posts, and I went into the kitchen four times this morning to get a glass to drink my can - four times! And DP found a pitta bread in the microwave the other day that is popped into warm up two days before to have with my lunch

RoTo72 · 15/11/2015 15:32

I was in a shopping centre and had to phone my mum for directions to the exit. I'm in that shopping centre every day as I go thru it on way to work. I got a taxi home one evening and couldnt remember my address. Also.had oh searching house for an hr for a bank card that was in my purse even though I pulled bag and purse apart 20 times

redstrawberries101 · 15/11/2015 15:42
