I don't think there is a thread for the July moms yet!
I'm due on July 2nd, just 4.5wks at the mo, but feel like I've known for ages as got a positive 5 days early on an early response! No real symptoms so far just a bit of cramping and some instant extra weightHalloween Biscuit.
This is dc3 for us. Haven't made any appointments yet. Looking forward to the next 8 months!

How do I add myself? Just went to see my mum and managed not to tell her. I feel so guilty!

EllieJayJay · 07/11/2015 16:39

Elliz - the M&S ones are indeed fab!! My jumper puppies have felt happy compared to what they have felt like recently!

Ladies the other thing I invested in, in M&S was Mama Mio... £30 for a pregnancy essential kit, tummy rub, boob tube, georgepys glow and lucky legs - taken some for a spin feels lovely on the skin! It's supposed to stop 90% of stretch marks if used daily.

I'm spending all my smoking money on treats for me this trimester! Next trimester it's going on Sprout. Which I can't wait for as nearly started crying in M&S at how cute the baby stuff was - am really going to have to have a word with myself about this!

As for work, I'm lucky I work mostly from home but last week went into the office for the afternoon the day after I found out and honestly don't know how I got through the afternoon as my head was all over the place and I am still suffering with such exhaustion - really want to pack it in right now to be honest lol

5+1 and exhausted sorry if sentences sometimes go squiffy :s

EllieJayJay · 07/11/2015 16:40

I will do it if you do it Loki - i for some reason also have a block/completely weird fear of putting myself on it

Bluebell20 · 07/11/2015 16:41

You copy and paste the last list (which was Ellizardo) and then just type in your details, in order of due date!

I don't have any symptoms today, I don't think. But it is hard to sort out cough and cold rundown from pregnancy rundown!

Cookiesandcoffee · 07/11/2015 17:04

Woohooo Ellie! Also went bra shopping today! Only a cup size and I've got a bit of growing room but they are starting to get sore. I'm dying in my jeans today. I've undone them Blush

Loki17 · 07/11/2015 17:04

There, I did it! I don't know why I'm so paranoid. I just want this so much. I love this little thing so much already!

Loki17 · 07/11/2015 17:09

I've not noticed any change yet. Boobs are achy but less stingy than before I got my bfp. Nausea is coming in waves already. Last time the bloating started at about 6 weeks. I'm hoping to conceal as long as possible.

Cookiesandcoffee · 07/11/2015 17:10

Oh and ladies with DPs - mine was exactly the same, still hasn't processed this time either. It's so common for them to react totally different to us, plus they don't feel the changes and it's not growing inside them. Most partners want to feel protective and they can't protect us from anything happening. They feel out of control and for a lot of men they don't like that feeling. Me and DH had words the other day when he said 'but you're barely pregnant really ' .. My emotions took over and I lost my shit... In my experience it gets more real with the scan, and sometimes it takes until they hold their newborn in their arms for them to fully register. Whereas we bonded from about 12 hours after seeing the lines come up!

dianeyoung · 07/11/2015 17:34

Hello all, I've been lurking since the start - only just daring to post! I'd like to add myself but only have access to the app at the moment and can't work out how to copy the list - if it's possible?

First baby, 39, due 4th July.

Jem01 · 07/11/2015 17:37

Feeling brave so decided to add myself to the list!

Welcome Diane xx

I'm a first timer too and 38 on Monday!

Another good find... Pregnancy +
Am loving this app :)

EllieJayJay · 07/11/2015 18:03

Oh and well done Loki xx

Cookies that makes lots of sense - My DP is being supportive but it's been a "slow warm" to acceptance the first 24hrs I almost felt nervous to say anything, that's why I also told my mum. Now I think he's keeping a bit of a distance due to fear of something going wrong, but also hates seeing me uncomfortable - I have been given lots of presents - I think once we go for early scan (which he has asked about three times today) it will cement a bit more, I think it creeps up on them I don't know it's just a guess but that seems to be happening with DP.

5+1

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 07/11/2015 19:55

My DH is a bit of a saint really, because I've been so moody this week!

photographerlady · 07/11/2015 20:22

Hi ladies, man had such a crampy and ache day. Pretty much lived on the sofa. Nausea has also went up a notch. Funny how much I forgot about this after your first.

EllieJayJay · 07/11/2015 20:57

Sending you big hugs xx

Lucia82 · 07/11/2015 22:28

Tentative add... Been lurking for a while, symptom spotting and pretending to be very relaxed about everything. While obsessively comparing and keeping fingers crossed.

Third cycle ttc, first cycle had mc at about 6ish weeks.

DH away, so will be telling him tomorrow... Nice end to a long working week!

Oh bless your heart, that must be hard to deal with on your own, of course you must be worried especially with the recent miscarriage, sending you a big hug and keeping everything crossed for you xx

I know it must be impossible but try to relax this evening, nice cup of tea or hot chocolate, perhaps a warm bath maybe or a Good book? Anything just to try and keep a bit calmer until DH comes home X

I'm home alone this evening too so can relate to this a little as I have actually found my brain going into all sorts of worrying places and the above relaxing things have helped me a little bit so hopefully it will help you too X

I really feel for you and do keep us updated so we can give you some support X

Alright I have a question which I'm hoping some of the ladies slightly further on than me can help with - I did the second clear blue plus test today and it also came up with the positive cross for pregnant like the first one but wasn't darker than the first one, which I'd (maybe unrealistically as it's just 4 days later) expected. If anyone else did the wait a bit and test again thing, how far along were you when both lines were dark? or do some people's maybe just not go that dark ever as we're all different? (my obsessive googling says that might be the case. My lines both times were very clearly lines (rather than faint) within the first minute of test developing, just not as dark as the control line. I'm currently 4+4 so my temptation is to accept that two positive tests (and no negative tests) and a bunch of pregnancy symptoms probably does mean I'm pregnant and to back off the testing, just curious how it works. Husband suitably convinced and we've told my mum and his mum and dad now, who're all over the moon. My Dad would also have been over the moon, but sadly died a few years ago. I'm also planning to phone to book a midwife appt on Monday, as in my area you just go straight to the midwife and first appt not until week 8/9. Hoping getting in early means I still have a chance to get my scan in over the festive period. Any wisdom on how much weight to put on line darkness appreciated!

Loki17 · 07/11/2015 22:48

Evening all. Anyone else's nausea worse at night? My boobs seem more painful at night too.
I went to buy my pregnacare vitamins today and have gone and bought the original not the ones with the omega oil, Anyone know if you can buy that separately?

Welcome, Lucia and congratulations!

Loki17 · 07/11/2015 23:01

Lucky I've no idea. I'm 4+1, got my bfp 4 days ago and I'm still testing. I'm using ic and ive only just, today got a faint but 'seeable' line. On Friday I got a good solid line on a frer and a 'pregnant 1-2' on a cbd. I've no idea why I continue to use the cheapies (lost my last marble I think) but the cheapies do tend to go fainter depending on how hydrated my pee is. I'd bet you just had more concentrated urine for your first test.

EllieJayJay · 07/11/2015 23:07

Lucky - I've been retesting two clear blue digitalis with weeks, saw an increase after a week :) and a cross one, I've heard that even a faint line classes as a positive so I think it's happening :) still am in a state of lets do another test to be sure despite having boobs that Jordan would be jealous of (starting to think there may well be more than one in there) and lots of other symptoms (pretty much everything but only occasional nausea) it's happening :)

Loki - I brought the one with it included but you can buy from any chemist or supermarket just check it's the right amount - I also noticed it did not have any calcium so as I don't eat a lot of dairy (although this has changed recently) I'm not convinced I'm getting my 1,200mg so I also purchased a calcium supplement and make up the needed calcium dependant on how much dairy I have consumed
