Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 40th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 39th grads fred is HERE.

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Yay for the ergo country we rented one of those for a little while they're lovely! Has it got a gorgeous print?

ThursdayLastWeek · 25/10/2015 20:46

Haha rdm, either guess or ask MN Grin

I think I'm going to call the docs tomorrow and ask for a prescription for gaviscon...they can do that over the phone right?

CountryGal4 · 25/10/2015 20:52

We went quite plain actually and decided on the black and cream one I thought it was a steal at £60

ThursdayLastWeek · 25/10/2015 20:57

Yes I'd say so, they're more like £80 usually aren't they?
I think my Tula is closer to £90!

Jcandy · 25/10/2015 21:16

I have arse rain Haloween Sad

Jcandy · 25/10/2015 21:18

Sounds like some good bargains were had there country

All this lovely talk of food! I'd bought a morello cherry bakewell tart and custard to have after dinner tonight but now I'm really not hungry due to the crampy tummy.

oneyorkshirepud · 25/10/2015 22:18

JC I am never hungry any more, baby is taking up too much room! We are supposed to put on 1lb a week from now on, but I don't know how when I can't eat! I can totes still eat chocolate though

Sorry to those of you suffering from heartburn Sad rubbish.

Rdm are you fully cooked now? I would like baby pud to come at 38 weeks... that's only 6 weeks away, shiiiiit!!

Does anyone else feel weird when they lie down? I only lie on my left but I get these waves where I feel weird and a bit like my head/neck are going to explode.... I realise that this sounds ridiculous! I wonder if it is high BP? I have the MW on Tues so will get it checked then. No other bad BP symptoms though...

batfish · 26/10/2015 04:58

Hi all, sorry for going AWOL, have been spending my days staring at batlet and obsessing over the colour of his poo, will catch up on the millions of pages I've missed, hope you're all doing well!

honeysucklejasmine · 26/10/2015 06:59

LOL Bat, sounds really glamorous. Grin

jellypi3 · 26/10/2015 08:21

Hey bat :) waves

pud that sounds odd, I'd deffo mention it to mw.

We did so much sorting and packing yesterday, I paid for it last night. Hips and back were agony :( oh well. We still don't even have a completion date. Stress levels rising again...

TriJo · 26/10/2015 08:59

Literally in the last 3-4 days lots of stuff has started hurting - knees, ankles, wrists, elbows, lower back... This is more than a little bit annoying, I'm only 19 weeks and it feels a bit early for this!

oneyorkshirepud · 26/10/2015 10:25

Trijo, whenever something has started hurting I have presumed that it will last for the whole pregnancy/get worse. This hasn't been the case though aches and pains come and go. It has helped me to see a physio/chiropractor though so it may be worth getting some help.

Jelly I feel your pain. House moving is mega stressful. It will be worth it though.

Had my flu jab and got the nurse to check my BP. 110/70 so it is not high BP that is making my head want to explode. Smile Must just be one of those weird pregnancy things...

jellypi3 · 26/10/2015 10:39

Glad your BP is OK pud.

tri I hurt everywhere :( hips and back are worst but my wrists and fingers hurt too. I find it worse if I've had a really active day the day before.

Jcandy · 26/10/2015 13:37

I'll join you in the hurting everywhere today. Think my rib cage is expanding so I've got upper back pain which means I'm waddling about a lot today and also means I get a sharp pain if I breathe in deeply. Ah something else to add Smile at least the arse rain has seemed to stop!

Glad your BP is ok pud are you drinking enough?

Oh jelly stress is no good Sad we didn't have a completion date for ages and then suddenly it was sorted for the following week. Hope they figure it out soon but make sure you take it easy too

SecondCupOfTea · 26/10/2015 14:41

This afternoon, I'm mostly entertaining myself with the AIBU thread on revenge buying of noisy toys as presents Grin

It reminds me that many years ago, I bought my brother's (then small) children a huge set of fingerpaints/shapes/paper...he's held his revenge for many years...

oneyorkshirepud · 26/10/2015 14:47

Drinking like a fish JC, v thirsty all the time! Massive sympathies on the rib pain that is by far the worst bit of pregnancy for me, mostly at work as I am sitting a lot.

Jcandy · 26/10/2015 16:09

Yeah I've just got home and got straight into bed to lie down and stretch out. That definitely helps with the pain. Sitting or standing is just not good. Hopefully it'll go tomorrow

Jcandy · 26/10/2015 16:21

Only problem with lying down...........Heartburn! Confused

KateBeckett · 26/10/2015 16:22

Hi viroids, am tentatively popping in after my bfp this morning. Mainly so feathered isn't last on the stats list Wink

Did anyone have a weird feeling in their womble early on?? I had a few days of af like cramps, then nothing for a few days, and now it feels odd in there. Like a tight stretchy pain, but it doesn't actually hurt... Am paranoid this is something bad, especially as I don't seem to feel sick today, and I'm a massive hypochondriac, and it feels like it was too easy to get to this point so somethings got to go wrong...

Well, that was a lovely, positive first post on the grads Fred! Sorry guys!!

oneyorkshirepud · 26/10/2015 16:31

Welcome Kate, womble stretching/crampy pains all totally normal, there is a surprising amount happening in there!

JC yes to lying down but boooo to heartburn. I haven't had more than a touch of it so far, thank God (massively jinking it here) but if I do get it then that will leave me with zero positions of comfort. Waah. Hope you are on the Gaviscon.

Nap time.....

FeatheredTail · 26/10/2015 16:42

YAY to no longer being bottom of the grads stats list! (Thanks Katie).

My womble felt periody a few days before my BFP. Now I get occasional stretchy feelings - like you said, not painful, just a new sensation. EPU said it's all normal when I visited last week.

Sorry to all those with achey ribs and joints. Ouch! Is there anything you can take Pud and Jelly, or do you just have to grin (or grimmace) and bear it?

My awards thing went really well on Thursday - I felt fine on the night, which I think was a case of mind firmly over matter and was so busy I didn't have time to feel sick. (I paid for this business by being unable to move on Saturday and Sunday).

Someone asked what I do. I used to be a solicitor, but I've turned moderate social crusader! I think it says what I do on my facebook profile. Don't want to be too explicit, but I develop policy and run projects to make access to the profession fairer for those from less privileged backgrounds. It's mostly really rewarding. The awards ceremony (700 lawyers under one roof - eek) would have been more rewarding if I wasn't on the elderflower cordial for SIX HOURS. I could smell the champagne in the air. I could see everyone else eating RARE DUCK and enjoying their semi-cooked MERINGUES. Phhhhhhhhhhhhhhhtttttt!

YogaPants · 26/10/2015 16:59

Hi Kate, congratulations on you BFP!

I've also had strange twinges in my womb area that come and go but are never as bad as period pain so don't worry me that much.

Now 9 weeks and have spent the last four weeks lamenting most of the time when i am not in bed. Too tired to post on mumsnet even!

ThursdayLastWeek · 26/10/2015 17:16

Well done feathered that sounds like quite an evening!

Welcome Kate and congratulations on your BFP! Those tummy feelings are totally normal IME. The fortnight around my own BFP I wondered was I really pregnant, or did I just need to do a massive poo? Grin
Well done for bringing yoga out of hiding too!

Scan tomorrow, I'm excited!

honeysucklejasmine · 26/10/2015 17:16

Welcome Kate

Feathered sounds great! Well done! As a side note...

Am I the only one who says meringue as "mer-rin-goo"? I am fully aware its pronounced "mer-rang" but it's just so much more fun to say mer-rin-goo.

I think it's to do with a spelling thing I have. I am rubbish at spelling words out loud (have to write them down) so sometimes I sound out the word to help me spell it. So if someone asked me how to spell meringue, I would think "mer-rang, mer-rin-goo, m e r i n g u e." Weird, I know.

KateBeckett · 26/10/2015 17:21

Oh shit feathered ... I'm not going to be able to enjoy a steak for months and months!
