That sounds awful Mazzle, I hope your midwife is able to suggest something that might help a bit.
Brooke, I felt quite a few movements (or what I thought were movements) early on, then felt nothing for days and started to get worried. I've started feeling some movements again recently though. I've heard it's totally normal this early on not to feel movement at all, or to not feel it every day, so I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. Perhaps you could give your midwife a call if you're concerned though?
Crumbly, a five mile walk sounds tiring enough even when not pregnant! Is there any public transport you could use instead, or anyone who could give you a lift? I've found trying to eat healthily has helped my energy levels, as well as trying to get plenty of sleep (obvious, I know!). If you're feeling really tired it might be worth getting your iron levels checked as bring anaemic can really make you feel exhausted.
Rinnyx, glad your DS is on the mend. Hope he enjoyed his birthday too.
I've still got horrible back pain. I tried to make an appointment with my GP but they only had phone appointments so I had to make do with that. They've given me a prescription for painkillers (but haven't taken them yet as I'm totally paranoid about then affecting bump). I asked about physio and she said I can self-refer to them but apparently they might not treat pregnant women. Seemed a bit odd to me given that I thought pregnancy would be a common time to need physio! Oh well, hopefully I'll feel better after a good night's sleep.
