Also up for the FB group. We had one for my last antenatal thread and I think is was a secret group which meant posts, membership and even existence of the group were only visible to members.

I think FB group is a go then as long as well hidden
We had/have one for us that where due in Nov 2010.
We have just been sharing first day school pics and some of us are even FB friends too

I'm definitely doing a fun announcement Rinnyx! Since it's potentially my last pregnancy I'm going to try to eek as much fun as possible out of this one. Maybe he will change his mind?

wax your night sounds horrific! You have my sympathy. You definitely need to get this sorted before the baby arrives. I used The Baby Whisperer books to sleep train my first daughter. It was bloody hard work, but now she sleeps all night, every night. Well worth it! Learnt my lesson, so when DD2 came along I sleep trained her from birth . Poor thing!

Congrats to everyone who has had scans. I am jealous! My private one is 2 weeks tomorrow . Can't wait.

Feel like such a fat blob already! Was determined not to overeat, but nibbling constantly stops the nausea! Hopefully after week 12 things will settle down.

How are you doing crumbly? I really feel for you with your job - I feel terrible and I only work in an office. I used to manage a restaurant and can't imagine surviving on my feet all day at my old job right now - you're a hero!

AFM I had my 7 week scan on Wednesday and everything looked good (although was measuring 6w4d which makes my due date 30th April!) so I have been discharged from the clinic and now am just classed like a normal non high risk person, yay! I made a booking appointment (5th October) and a dating scan (19th October). That's so far away I think I'll have to go for a private one in the middle - still terrified!

Ooh, yes defo up for an FB group here too. Sorry I've been awol, we were at CP this week and it took all energy corralling both DC whilst feeling ropey.

12 week scan today - everything went well and we got to see that our little one is a little wriggler! Got moved forward another 2 days as well so now 12+5.

Luckily I work in an office too, and set my own pace with my work - safe to say, I've not done much all week. I may need to tell my boss soon, as my role involves lifting archival boxes - OK at the moment, but I'm not sure for how long.

Had my booking appointment yesterday, and got the date for my 12 week scan, 14 October.

Also keen for a super secret FB group. We're undecided about an announcement or not - we've got one family on one side of the world, and the other family on the other side, so trying to work out the nicest, easiest way of telling everyone!

Hi everyone, scan went fab, saw a little heart flickering away but got put back yet again to 7w 5d making me due around the 25th of April. Will upload pic at some point today but it does really just look like a blob haha. So thrilled. It feels like I really will have a baby at the end of this all!

I'm also doing a facebook announcement, my friends and family are all over the globe, much easier than calling everyone although will tell my nearest and dearest beforehand!

I'm off house hunting today, currently live in a lovely flat in the centre of London but it's 3rd floor no lift so time to get practical especially as I'm probably going to need a c-section!!

Hi everyone, I've been manic at work for weeks and travelling all over. The madness ended on Thursday and now thinking about packing to go to Devon for a week!

How is everyone else's skin? I posted in other board but maybe you can help. This happened with dd1, but around week 10 I developed very dry patchy skin and a cyst like lump on my cheek. It lasted the whole pregnancy. And it's happening again. Bright red/transparent cyst like lump that's sore. It really got to me last time and I don't want to go through it again. Anyone had anything similar? Should I go the docs?

I've got my booking in and 12 week scan same day on 23rd sept as away next week...will tell everyone after that. I think my boss suspects as he seems to have changed towards me. I'm definitely not imagining it.

Congrats Toes my scan is Monday and I have a feeling I may measure a little smaller than the 7w 5d than I should be based on the dates I was getting with clear blue. Do you have many symptoms yet?

I will still be on here Dellabob (though I know I don't post lots). I'm not sure yet about the Facebook group. I'm on there but only really use it for professional stuff, and it makes me nervous the idea of anyone knowing my mumsnet username as I usually change it lots for anonymity.

Not much is happening with me, still very sick. GP gave me Phenergen which didn't really help, now I'm trying cetirizine. Can't really enjoy being pregnant when this sick, and when I mentioned medication in passing to my mother, she went on a big rant about how I mustn't take anything. All these drugs are safe, but she's not one to listen. Sigh. I hope it really does improve at 12 weeks.

My skin is blotchy, but that could be anything. Maybe even a reaction to the Pregnacare.

I only joined FB to join the grads I was in the conception thread with. I'm massively cautious so didn't use my real name or put a profile pic up. I don't use FB otherwise and don't think I could keep up being in another group so I'll just stick around on here.

Della I don't have any advice but definitely see your GP as they may be able to prescribe something.
