I have finally got that positive after 6 years of TTC. I checked on a site that calculates due dates for IVF cycles and it gave me the due date of August 3rd. Is there not a thread created yet for August 2007?

Hi pink ranger, yes, still getting mild period type pains, no pattern to them. I'm roughly 7 weeks. From all I have heard this is quite normal.

I'm putting off doing cleaning again!!

I'm getting periody type pains too. Am on constant knicker watch (sorry if tmi!). I know it's meant to be stretching but all the streching I had in the past I'm surprised it's still aching. Pleased you've seen a heart beat - at 7 weeks its amazing!

I just found out that I won't be seeing a mid wife to get booked in until 12 weeks, so the scan will be a few weeks after that I guess. Ages away!!! I'm around 7 weeks and have had no morning sickness or other pregnancy signs so far ... other than missed period & positive tests!! Hoping everything's ok as I remember feeling hellish with my 1st, pretty much from week 6 onwards ...

With my first I was never sick at all, so maybe you've gotten lucky, enjoy it.

I'm also getting period-like pains and feeling a bit bloated in the afternoon/evening.

Had a better day food wise yesterday. Couldn't stop eating yesterday evening (although not much at a time). Not feeling so sick as I have been but it comes and goes.

My focus seems to be completely out though. I got in from work last night to find my husband on the sofa with no dd. He apparently asked me to pick her up (normally his job) but I don't even recall the conversation. I still say he could have done it though as he was home half an hour before me.

Hello everyone - well I'm v sorry to say its look like I shall be leaving this thread . Went for a dating scan on 30/12 (as thought 8-10 wks) she measured 6.3, no heartbeat and two cysts (their terminology for two sacs of fluid) which isn't normal. Went to hospital on Tues. but they wanted to wait until Fri. to re-scan - but they referred to it as a 'failed pregnancy'. So wierd as still feel all the tiredness, sore boobs etc and the consultant confirmed that would be the case for a few weeks. Not sure the protocol if baby has died - dreading tomorrow...

So sorry to hear the news Missingmywine - big hugs.

I too have the prob of clothes fitting in the morning then buttons undone by 3pm. have taken to coming in from work and putting my PJ's straight on - much more comfy.

Tiredness is also a shocker. First day back at work today and had to drag myself out of bed. It's now lunchtime and I can't focus anymore (going to skive off with an imaginary dentist appointment ) Good job this is just a fill in job for me, all you girls still working as normal - how do you cope.

On the going back to work front. Because after a year my licence will have lapsed I'd need to go back in the simulator to get current again before they let me loose on real people in real planes - My company is based in Amsterdam so I'd have to nightstop for at least 5 nights initially. Once I'm back up to speed They will let me go back 50% (working 10 days per month) Could maybe negotiate my roster thereafter. There are only 3 women pilots out of 150 in my compnay so this is a bit uncharted territory for them!

The snag is DH is also a pilot and goes away for 6 days at a time. His roster is notoriously variable so tho he'd be around and keen for AD hoc baby child care, I'm not really factoring him in at all. I do have MIL in next village who is keen to help.

It's really interesting the hear your experiences, it's one thing in theory, but you never know how you're actually going to feel (or be dealt with) in practice!

ive got nausea that starts at 11.am precisely[very wierd ] and carries on throughout the day and food doesnt help it or anything but im ravenous every 3 hours..like a baby i cant fir into two pairs of trousers and im only 9 weeks!! but that could be due to me eating every three hours but im eating the same food as i used to but smaller amounts as i cant face big meals at the mo

Oh, Missing, I'm so sorry for you I know that this is just about impossible, but try not to think about it too much.....wait til tomorrow when you'll hopefully find out for definate. I'll keep everything crossed for you that they've not got it quite right, and that everything will turn out OK for you.....xxx

misingmywine ((hugs)) so sorry to hear your news.

Hormonal wreck- oooo pilot not the easiest Job when you feel sick and tired!! I would think there might be a chance your company might be wiling to give you less stop overs than other people- maybe at least initially anyway. Negotiating is scarey to think about but you can always, when the time is right, head into discussions with your ideal (2 stop overs... or 4 or whatever per month) and see what the best comprimise is that you can make.

am thirsty but scared to drink here atm... scared of being sick!!
