Is there a Due in August 2007 Thread?

I have finally got that positive after 6 years of TTC. I checked on a site that calculates due dates for IVF cycles and it gave me the due date of August 3rd. Is there not a thread created yet for August 2007?

I've got a problem. I have been quite sick and I think it is starting to worry my 3year old. If I just told her I was pregnant I think she would understand but she was heartbroken when I miscarried in Sept. so i wanted to wait longer. Should I wait or tell her?

Babbit · 13/12/2006 10:37

Hiya. I found out on Friday (6 days before period due!). Just had a feeling...

It is very early indeed. We are going to tell our families at Christmas (if I can wait that long). Decided to tell then as they would guess anyway when I am not drinking copious amounts of wine and eating brie or peanuts.

Babbit · 13/12/2006 10:41

Paulaplumpbottom - I think I would wait a little longer if you can. Not because I think you may m/c but if your 3 year old knows so will the world at large!!

missingmywine · 13/12/2006 11:11

Question for you all - only real symptons are faint stomach cramps - no sickness (never have) no sore boobs (hmmm) - should I be worried?

treacletart · 13/12/2006 11:38

Hurray for missingmywine! And I 've got identical symptoms to you too. Just a little extra tired but thats it, no sore boobs either and thats normally my first symptom. Guess it's true that every pregnancy is different I don't think there's any need to panic, think we should probably make the most of it while we can.

missingmywine · 13/12/2006 11:43

Thankyou treacletart - I've been thinking of looking into to a private scan as I did MC 3 yrs ago @ 12 wks but I think I'm just over-reacting - probably my age!!!

ChristmasMadwithBump · 13/12/2006 11:54

18 what cracked off in NOV!?

paulaplumpbottom · 13/12/2006 12:25

Those wild autumn nights obviously kept everyone in.

feedmechristmaspuddingnow · 13/12/2006 12:51

Hello everyone, and welcome to all the newbies!
Missingmywine, don't be worried, be grateful! Some people have a higher pain thresthold and likewise some people have a higher puking threshold!
Christmasmad - I can't let you take the blame alone for Smell Mellys wrong stats cos it could just as likely have been me who micked them up!
What a Christmas all out families are going to have with this fabby baby news! I think it's funny how many of us know that we can't hide it from them cos they'll spot us not drinking. We must be a generation of alcofrolics

paulaplumpbottom · 13/12/2006 12:58

I suppose that we'll all have to tell them before dinner.

conkertree · 13/12/2006 13:15

before dinner and before the champagne too is what we are planning - telling dhs parents on christmas day cause they will be there for lunch - but so will purplerabbit and her family - and not going to tell them about her till everyone else knows so we'll still have to do a bit of sipping from the wrong glass to not make it too obvious that she's not drinking.

oh the fun of it all.

ChristmasMadwithBump · 13/12/2006 13:19

For some horrid reason I get MS really bad DS#1 wasn't too bad (ask me that at that time I would of said I was dieing) but DS#2 really really was bad and last time I need family help with DS#1 while I was in hospital with MS, so this time we told our family and a few friends as soon as we knew (which was 5 days before AF was due) just uncase I needed their help again! We're not telling DS's or other children in the family till we have our 12 scan and every thing is okay!

paulaplumpbottom · 13/12/2006 13:22

You two could just tell them you are giving up the drink together.

endlesslove · 13/12/2006 13:48

Hello all. Hows everyone doing? My stats are as follows:

endlesslove
age 23
DH 24
EDD 14th Aug
1st baby
5 months TTC

Feeling quite worried as should be 6 weeks tomorrow and feel nothing apart for period pains that come and go. I have no sore or big boobs. I thought that every pregant women has sore boobs!

Looking forward to 4th January when I go back to see my doctor and nurse for checkup. Its giving me something to focus on.

Also am slightly worried as triplets run in my family but have skipped 2 generations and twins run in DH side but have skipped a couple of generations. I want to know now if expecting more than one. Does anyone know signs to look out for if expecting more than 1 baby?

xx

feedmechristmaspuddingnow · 13/12/2006 13:56

Endlesslove, apparently multiple biths often display with a lot more, and more severe, MS and you would usually look about 5 mths pg when only 3, etc.
I too have multiples throughout both my family and dp's family, but I'm not too worried about it. Scientifically speaking, it is the eggs that either split or have 2 released so surely multiples on the mans side doesn't mean a thing! I mean, he's got millions of the buggers, IYKWIM!!

ChristmasMadwithBump · 13/12/2006 14:10

We keep thinking is it x2? I had a early scan at 9 weeks with DS#2 because I was showing severe PG symptoms, my consultant thought I was having more than 1 also as my history show's I have a high chance of having more than 1 (We to have lots of multiples in both sides of our family and It too has skiped a gen not IVF) But thank god our DS#2 was only 1!

BibiJesus · 13/12/2006 15:31

Not really feeling anything at the moment which is worrying. Boobs are a little tender, occasional waves of nausea but maybe only 2/3 times a day and nothing else.
Just being paranoid I think as my test is a BFP, but every trip to the loo is accompanied by the dread of seeing my period. Anyone else feeling super-paranoid?

paulaplumpbottom · 13/12/2006 15:43

I do a bit. I miscarried about this time the last time, so every time I go to the potty I am sure there will be blood. You aren't the only one.

londonlou · 13/12/2006 15:44

hormonalwreck - I'm having my scan at 7.5 weeks. You should see the heartbeat by then. Will see a little thing in the sac with the heartbeat if all's well.

Gardeninggirl - home grown broccoli - how fab!

Treacletart - age! It's all in the mid isn't it?

ChristmasMadwithBump - sorry you down with the ms, but I'm soooooo worried because I don't have it! when did everyone else's start on average? I'm 6.5 weeks.

Conkertree and Purplerabbit - how weird must that be! Great as you seem to get on. Not sure I'd like being pg same time as mine.

Babbits - are we not supposed to eat peanuts as well?!!

Lou

ChristmasMadwithBump · 13/12/2006 15:53

Please please don't worry londonlou, not everyone is the same, no 2 PG are the same, I will be 6 weeks tomorrow, I have a history of bad MS/AS, I was talking to another mum at my DS's school she said that she had MS with one of her DC and not the other, so even 2 PG from the same mother are not the same! Please dont worry, HTH Babymadxxx

paulaplumpbottom · 13/12/2006 15:59

No eating peanuts, you may give your baby an allergy

BibiJesus · 13/12/2006 16:03

I can't believe how little I remember about being pg, dd is only 2.2. Like what I should eat/avoid (apart from the obvious), whether I should tell Dr or not etc etc.Maybe I have got symptoms - pg brain already!

Just rang the DRs and the receptionist told me they don't need to see me at all, I'm to book in with the midwife at 8 weeks. With DD I saw the Dr when we found out, who was a wholly unimpressed @rsehole who made me feel foolish for wasting his time, so with 2nd pg I didn't bother going. When I saw the m/w at 10 weeks she told me off for not telling the Dr as it wasn't on my medical records (m/ws are based in Drs surgery).

paulaplumpbottom · 13/12/2006 16:20

Have been trying find a definitive list online, but can't
