Is there a Due in August 2007 Thread?

I have finally got that positive after 6 years of TTC. I checked on a site that calculates due dates for IVF cycles and it gave me the due date of August 3rd. Is there not a thread created yet for August 2007?

paulaplumpbottom · 12/12/2006 10:18

Yall are really on the ball. I haven't been to the doctor to confirm yet. I think I'm going to go on Thurs.

malodorantemelly · 12/12/2006 11:33

I am going to the Dr this pm. I want to start feeling sick then I know everything is ok. Will ask for early scan, (although I think we get scanned at 7 weeks here - we are in France) as I want to know it is not ectopic - had one before, and want to know it isn't twins again, had them too!!!

This will be no 5

bresha · 12/12/2006 12:03

Wow malodorantemelly, no 5!!!!!! How do you cope?

snowytyphoonsmum · 12/12/2006 12:04

HI everyone. I'm from the Due in July thread but my due date is 31 July. If DD is anything to go by I'll be late so mind if I pop in here every now and again.

feedmechristmaspuddingnow · 12/12/2006 12:49

Hi ewveryone! Congrats and welcome to our new members! Was there a power cut in November, or a particularly cold spell, cos our numbers are growing vast!
Can I just say something to anyone out there who cares to listen about the care you can/should/will receive....For various reasons I have done a fair amount of research and I am now convinced that we all can have the care we want. Yes, you can request (and insist upon!)different midwives/different doctors/different consultants. You can have midwife only care (cos why see a doctor if you're not sick?, you can have appointments for your blood tests to be done by phlebotomists (sp?)instead of midwives, or you can refuse blood tests altogether. And be warned as well - I have recently heard that the urine tests that show up sugar are not particularly crash hot either!
OK, so rant finished now

conkertree · 12/12/2006 13:41

you're right christmaspud - there are a lot of us now. can we do a stats update to remind us all who everyone is?

feedmechristmaspuddingnow · 12/12/2006 14:10

I thought there was more than 7

boobooma · 12/12/2006 20:15

Hi folks

New to mumsnet, and did a test today, reckon I'm due roughly 24th August and bursting to tell someone.

I have one DS who's coming up to his first birthday in the new year.

It's weird, last time I hadn't swamped myself with all the literature yet so wasnt really worried. This time it feels like there's a minefield of potenital disaster ahead. Or maybe it did feel like this last time? Anyway, no symptoms yet and haven't told anyone except DP so its all a bit unreal.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

paulaplumpbottom · 12/12/2006 20:24

Congrats and welcome aboard Boobooma

Only symptom so far is sore boobs. Feel like I've put on a few pounds too Christmasmadwithbump, how do you know if it's baby or too much turkey? I'm wondering about twins as they're in DH's family.

Had an early scan booked on 21st Dec so we could have a piccie when we tell our parents on Christmas Day, but I was told that at 7.5 weeks they wouldn't be able to see anything, just hear a heartbeat. So we're going to wait til the nhs dating scan 10-12 weeks (really excited)

paulaplumpbottom · 12/12/2006 20:52

I don't think it would be so bad if you had twins the first time around. You wouldn't know any diffrent

hoohoo · 12/12/2006 20:57

Good to hear about your scan plans lou! I am jealous I want to see evidence for the cause of my blahs!!
Thanks about the name Uki - another first timer like you - v nerve wracking! I am mad about anything green that grows, but only have a small flat, but a few balconies - where I am running out of space! My balcony grown brocolli is my pride and joy at the moment!
