Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 37th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 36th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 52nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

jelly I decided on colour scheme when I was about 14 weeks and my mum gave me a mint green and grey babygro from boots and I thought they would make lovely nursery colours. We actually painted a few weeks ago and then bought furniture since and then we tidied it all up about 2 weeks ago so it's pretty finished now, we're not usually this organised!!

ThursdayLastWeek · 26/08/2015 13:15

If any of you are thinking of using wall stickers to decorate your nursery put them HIGH. DS has didn't many a happy 'nap time' ripping my lovingly placed jungle decals off the walls Sad. Little fucker.

ThursdayLastWeek · 26/08/2015 13:17

Can I get your opinions please?
DH thinks it's ok to take DS to scan, I'm not sure. Those with DCs already. Have you? Would you?

jellypi3 · 26/08/2015 13:43

thursday some NHS trusts won't let you take a child with you so might be worth checking first. I guess you need to prepare yourself for if it's bad news, would you want your DS there with you.

Pud i'm thinking woodland, seen some lovely stickers for it (thanks for the tip thursday) for the wall and also like the mint green color idea, with a sort of beech furniture set.

ThursdayLastWeek · 26/08/2015 13:56

jelly the bad news thing is what makes me think no. I'll talk to DH, he won't force the issue I just don't think he's thought it through.

Jcandy · 26/08/2015 14:03

Thanks for all the replies Smile
I did 4 weeks of 8 hour shifts on advise of occy health and it started off well but got very tired by the end of it and wiped out on my days off so I know it's possible but don't know how long I could keep it up for.

I have annual leave saved for before mat leave, currently I plan to go off at 35 weeks (everyone at work has been saying that's too late) but could bring my mat leave forward a bit and use the annual leave to supplement my hours and still go off at 35 weeks.

HR have said take it easy on shift and make sure you have breaks etc. but it's just not possible I had a 20 minute lunch break on my 13 hour shift yesterday and maybe 5 minutes sit down at another time. Finished half an hour late too trying to get everything done. It's not the sort of job where you can just drop everything Sad

As long as they can't force me to reduce my hours (and hence my pay) then ill stick with full time, offer the annual leave and if I feel really bad then go off sick for the day again. You're right pud, I could just go on sick leave now till mat leave starts and they would pay me full time, it's bonkers!

oneyorkshirepud · 26/08/2015 15:37

Yes! Public sector especially should be encouraging people to stay in work, total madness. No wonder you are tired, I had transitioned to almost 100% sit - down teaching due to tiredness. I could not be on my feet for 8 hours! I would say keep going as you are BUT don't be afraid to take days off if you feel exhausted. I did quite a few mornings last term but went home at lunch due to knackeredness, but I didn't teach much in the afternoons so it was low impact on everyone else so I didn't feel too bad. Gx I will have a v reduced timetable in Sept, I think I would really struggle with FT teaching.

5hell · 26/08/2015 16:40

Thanks again viroids! You're too nice!

thurs at the US dept where i've been there are signs up saying 'only 1 adult allowed in the US room' and also 'please keep your children quiet' so it's unclear whether 1 adult and 1 quiet child would be permitted (but not 2 adults), or if children have to quietly wait outside? ...sorry not much help really!

ironically, given the current weather, I have just ordered a new patio furniture set - very happy as we found it, loved it, then it's been out of stock for MONTHS!

purplewhale · 26/08/2015 19:25

For the last 6 weeks I did 7 hour days sat at a desk in my spare room and I was knackered, I had a lunchtime nap most days. I can't begin to think how anyone with a physical job copes in pregnancy.
I definitely need to get fitter before getting pregnant again!

I rang the car insurance today to find out about driving after c section. They said its up to the doctor, once they say I'm fit to drive, then I am Smile

I also got the car cleaned - maybe a bit of nesting is going on but I didn't want my lovely new car seat in a dirty car, or my lovely new baby in there either SmileSmileSmile

I have had a relentless-toddler day.

So I took myself off for a run this evening, having leftover lasagne for tea, bake off, Bakewell tart then book in bed for me.

Then get up and start again tomorrow.

MollyBloomYes · 26/08/2015 20:13

purple I was driving 3 weeks after my emcs having been to doctor who said it was fine. Obviously everyone is different but I hear elcs has even better rates of recovery time so gx for you!

jellypi3 · 26/08/2015 21:22

I've got a new phone Grin it's fancy!

CarrotPuff · 26/08/2015 21:26

I want a new phone too!

gaggiagirl · 26/08/2015 21:35

carrot yeah my bump is bigger this time around. I was massive with DD she was nearly 9lb.

oneyorkshirepud · 26/08/2015 22:21

Eep Ga!

Made my first attempt at the apple/peanut butter/chocolate pie. Twas good (stuck my mouth together!) But needs work. More apple, less peanut butter and a different order of fillings (apple in the middle). Will try again at the weekend and will post the recipe when I get it right. Just need to eat the rest of this pie so I can justify making another.

Trurouge · 26/08/2015 22:37

ThursdayLastWeek · 27/08/2015 08:16

Morning all, welcome Tru Smile

purplewhale · 27/08/2015 08:46

Morning viroids, welcome Tru

We actually DTD last night, first time this trimester I think Grin
Poor DH, he looks after me so well and doesn't get much in return. He never puts pressure on or even mentions it, bless him

gaggiagirl · 27/08/2015 09:21

Yay for shagging purple!!!! We've had all the 6am sex this week except this morning when I didn't have to be awake so early so mr gaggia got nowt Grin

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 27/08/2015 09:27

Morning everyone. Popping me head in waves
So I watched OBEM last night. Wasn't that story about the 16 year-old just lovely, mainly because of the grandmothers being so supportive and level-headed?
Still MS central here. It sucks. :(
Hope you're all doing as well as you can be! I promise once I feel better I'll be more active again.

pretzelpieces · 27/08/2015 09:47

Welcome tru!
Yay for shagging purple and ga!

Sorry you're feeling poorly auf, it's horrible. Hang in there Thanks

honeysucklejasmine · 27/08/2015 10:02

God, I think DH would be really pissed if I tried to shag him at 6am. Sleep wins over penis in this house. Romance is dead.

OP posts:
Niffertiti · 27/08/2015 10:10

Go gaggia and purple! 6am sex is unheard of in this house. I think Mr niff prefers sleep tbh... Although given he's 6 time zones away it's not an issueHmm.

Having a crappy week at work so I've been a bit quiet over here, but loving the bump updates on the FB page.
I'm off up to my 'rents this weekend and will get to meet my 12 day old niece. SQUEEEE!Grin

Also, my babyjogger arrived last night. I own a buggy. Holy fuck viroids, does this mean I'm having a baby?

Welcome Jo, and nice to hear from you auf although sorry you're feeling so crap.
