Thought I'd start our new thread as the old one is full up!

Hi ladies, may I join you? Recognise a few of you from the TTC bus - hi!

Admit to a couple of weeks of lurking but too anxious to jump in!
EDD is 28th March, I have 2 DC already but my last 2 pregnancies ended in miscarriage, hence the worry this time.
Had a scan at 6+3 and everything looked ok and getting another tomorrow at 9+5.

It's really cheered me up seeing all your lovely scan pics and hearing about nausea starting to settle - which would be lovely!

Thinking of those with scans today x

I'm with you all on the weeing. I'm same as Beautiful, don't normally wee much (never usually at work) but I have to wee twice before I can even fall asleep. Then again in the night. Then all day. (Though I'd rather have the weeing than the wind).

Welcome magpie. I also had two mcs before this pregnancy and another mc before my daughter. It's hard not to worry I know but great that all was looking good at your early scan. Good luck for tomorrow too :-)

Twice a night trips to the loo then can't sleep because my sickness is far worse at night

Oh no sherazade night sickness?? how many weeks are you? I'm 13 weeks 2 days and am starting to come out the other side... Only thing is I now can't stop eating!!!

gem i'm constantly hungry again too, but meals seem to be an effort so it's little and often (already had a packet of monster much, a special k bar and 2 slices of melon since getting up at 7am haha)

sickness has gone completely and exhaustion is starting to lift now too, stomach is rock hard though, dp couldn't believe how firm when I told him to touch it. 12 weeks tomorrow, known since 4 weeks. it's odd, seems to be flying in some ways and dragging like hell in others.

Q I'm really jealous of your nice firm bump, mine just seems to be a ball of squishy podge. Having said that I am carrying a little extra tummy weight anyway (size 12).

My sickness is also worse at night and Im having very vivid dreams but I do have lovely nails.

Good luck to everyone having scans today. I want to get excited about mine on Wednesday but it's hard too atm with the nausea. Also not looking forward to going on my own! Definitely going to prank DH though and tell him it's twins :)

Haven't posted much lately but got our 12 week scan today! I keep having a mad panic thinking that I'll get to the hospital and they'll say "what do you mean you think you're pregnant - you've made it up!"

Apart from a fleeting bout of morning sickness and sciatica I've got barely any symptoms and I've lost half a stone because my appetite has disappeared!

Roll on 2.00pm when I can (hopefully) breathe a sigh of relief!

Oh... And in other news....I get married tomorrow!!!!!!

Hmmmm.... I really have gone overboard on the exclamation marks there. Oops

Congrats Paperblank - it's my PFB's birthday tomorrow! Nice day to pick :)

Good luck for all the scans today. My sickness is going nowhere as yet, even though I am past 12 weeks. I do have lovely nails and skin though!

good Luck today paper and hope you have an absolutely amazing day tomorrow! I used to work as the wedding co-ordinator in a hotel and on the morning would tell every bride to treasure every second as the day goes by in a flash.

does anyone know if using emulsion paint is ok in pregnancy??
I really want to paint my kitchen this weekend but not sure if I'm allowed.

Adora my skin is amazing too! Ever since I came off the pill to ttc I've had terrible skin but it's totally hormonal - much worse as certain times of the month - and since getting my bfp I've barely had a spot!

I'm 13+0 today and I've totally lost my appetite the last few days which is very unlike me.

I think water based pain is fine. It's glosses etc that are oil based you have to be careful of, just make sure the area is well ventilated xx

Q I think if you look hard enough you'll find bloggers telling you all sorts of scare stories. Realistically though, it's probably fine as long as you don't shut yourself in there all day and huff the paint pot. Open the windows and door and it'll be fine.

We painted the living room before DS came (well, we managed to get one wall done!)

I've just confessed to my IVF friend. She was brilliant about it! All done via text so she could be just being polite, but she's very good at pretending to be gushy and excited if she was! I'm so relieved. Just need her next scan to be good news now.

My scan went well girlies, baby wouldn't stop dancing haha took the woman half an hour to get measurements, my due date has changed tho they put me 3 days forward so i'm 12+5 today, due date is 6th March now, can't believe how different baby looks compare to my scan 2 weeks ago. soooo in love!!

Congrats on all the lovely scans, ladies! I had mine on Wednesday and all is well. Due date revised to 5 March. My Harmony test results came back all clear too, and DC2 will be ... DD1!
