IndomitabIe I know, it's amazing! We didn't find out first time with DS, but this time my SIL's SIL (if that makes sense) has two girls and is done, so she offered us all the clothes if we were having a girl too, so we figured since we were doing the DNA testing anyway, may as well find out. It makes it easier with names, too, as DH and I both still like the girl name we chose for DS, but were in complete disagreement about potential second boy names!
You can do Harmony from 10 weeks (recommended 11), it's expensive, but I'm 36 and preferred this to having an amnio later on. I got the results back one week after having the blood drawn, before I even had the NHS 12 week scan. I'd already had an early scan at just shy of 8 weeks to check for a heartbeat, so I didn't need to pay the extra for another scan with the Harmony test.
The nausea's just awful still - keeping me up at night, and the lack of sleep makes it worse. I was queasy till 16 weeks with DS, so hopefully I've only got a few more weeks to go as I'm 13 weeks tomorrow.
