Sorry sjd xxxx

Missikat · 17/08/2015 20:47

So sorry Mrsrsw, sending you big hugs and hope you make it over to this side again soon.

Celen, I am in Nottingham and had a debrief/look at labour notes a few months after my son's birth. To do it I had to contact the hospital I had him at and got an appointment with a consultant. It was the midwife who suggested it but they didn't facilitate it. Maybe that's what you'd need to do?

LaraNotCroft22 · 17/08/2015 20:54

So sorry to hear your news mrs and sjd. I'm sure your time will come again soon and when it does I hope you both have wonderful healthy pregnancies.

Not much to report from my end. Currently twelve and a half weeks and hoping the nausea and exhaustion fade soon.

Good luck to all having scans soon!

Missikat · 17/08/2015 20:56

sjd, I posted last comment before I'd seen your sad news. Thinking of you and hoping you are getting lots of support to help you heal. Hugs xxxx

Poppins27 · 17/08/2015 21:31

Been away this weekend so just catching up, so so sorry sjd and mrs, really feel for you both.

Was going to post a very mundane update but will leave for now. Nothing major to report, hope everyone else is ok and getting on well!?

purplecat27 · 17/08/2015 22:59

Mrs and sjd I'm so sorry to read your news, I hope you're both getting all of the support you need, and wish you the best for the future.

Thank you to those that sent good wishes for my scan yesterday. Thankfully everything is fine, I hope I can start to relax a bit more now.

julesldn · 17/08/2015 23:27

Sjd I'm so sorry, take care of yourself xxx ????????

marmitemofo · 18/08/2015 08:53

so sorry for your loss sjd Thanks

also nothing to report here really. DD had a terrible cold over the weekend which I've caught, was up from 3.00-4.30ish in the night tossing and turning with sinus pain. what I would do for a lemsip right now... sickness has been awful this morning, the worst so far, so I've accepted defeat and taken the day off. there's just no point in me going into work as I will achieve nothing. so lying in bed and sleeping are my main plans for the day...

Me624 · 18/08/2015 09:31

Morning all. Sorry for the tmi question but for the last 2 days I've had yellowy discharge whereas before it's been white or clear. It's definitely not brown or got any blood in it, just a lot more yellowy than it was. Does anyone think this could be anything to worry about?

marmitemofo · 18/08/2015 09:40

probably nothing to worry about me, it could be thrush?

maybebabybee · 18/08/2015 09:47

me I've had yellowy discharge since start of pregnancy (when dried in my pants anyway, sorry TMI!). My midwife said it was normal. Could also be a touch of thrush which I am prone to.

Trinpy · 18/08/2015 09:51

I think yellowy is still normal. As long as there's no blood and there's no symptoms of thrush or infection then I think there's quite a lot of variation. Mine seems to change a lot just from day to day.

I'm really starting to get myself worked up about not having any pregnancy symptoms. I felt really faint and nauseous at this stage when I was pregnant with ds. I keep forgetting I'm even pregnant. I really hope everything's ok in there Confused.

Smirkingpicnicbasket · 18/08/2015 09:53

I'm so sorry sjd and Mrs - I did have a little tear for you! Lots of rest and look after yourself!

I'm still up and down with the sickness, vomited for the first time last night, usually I can control the dry heaving and just step outside but alas it didn't work! Christened my new sink!! My sickness is so random - I'm ok in the morning although I have to eat about three breakfasts, lunch I'm ravenous and have started eating more at lunchtime but tea time is the worst, struggle to feed dd and every smell makes gag! I can eat a small tea if DH prepares it! trying to have a positive mental attitude and just plough through it!

QforCucumber · 18/08/2015 09:58

smirking I'm similar, no actual sickness but DP had chicken fajhitas last night for tea and the smell made me so nauseous - I had a ham sandwich, anything with smells or flavours is the worst.

trinpy how good would it be if we all had a mini ultrasound scanner to check, just for reassurance that it was all ok, just something to set the minds at rest.

Celen · 18/08/2015 10:05

Trinpy how many weeks are you now? Lots of women find that symptoms can lessen after 8 weeks as the placenta takes over to help grow baby. Of course many lovely ladies on here are not so lucky but it can happen x

I'm 9 weeks and found I now have less nausea but not much appetite, no bloating but I'm still exhausted and have huge sore boobies Shock

maybebabybee · 18/08/2015 10:21

trinpy try not to worry, remember every pregnancy is different and as you've had no cramping and no bleeding that is a good sign.

I still feel pretty gross (and am also having to have two breakfasts, one at home at about 7 and the other when I get into work at 9!), but think I probably do feel better than I did a week or so ago. I'm 10+4 today going by scan dates.

Going to have another scan tomorrow (private). I know I'm bonkers as I had NHS ones done at 6 weeks and 8 weeks and will have my 12 week scan on 3 Sept, but DH has family visiting this weekend and wants to tell them - and I'd rather know all is definitely still well before I do that! Can anyone else relate or am I bonkers :S

Me624 · 18/08/2015 10:36

maybe I can definitely relate, I had a private one at 8 weeks and I have my 12 week NHS one on Friday, but I've been really anxious the last few weeks - for the same reason as Trinpy, no symptoms at all really - and I wish I'd had another private one at 10 or 11 weeks just to get me through. No point now as I've only got another few days to go but go for it if you can afford it and it provides the reassurance you need!

Cherrytoes · 18/08/2015 12:54

I'm another with few symptoms, have my scan in 10 days so trying to stay calm until then! I'm clinging to the fact ive had no pain or bleeding so I must be grateful for that.
Sorry for tmi but I've also had varying discharge, looks different every few days and I don't think it's anything to worry about unless it's itchy, offensive smelling etc
Great news on your scan purple hope you can relax a little more now :)

Rosieblossom123 · 18/08/2015 14:21

marmite same here hun I've got a cold and had to phone in sick this morning :( Yesterday morning I was so happy that I haven't been sick since last monday then boom was sick at work twice, this morning when I got up I felt like I was punched in the face and had a runny nose and feeling dizzy, could't even get dressed to go to work… argh :( looks like I'm staying in bed all day!!!

MyNameIsSuz · 18/08/2015 16:11

I've been panicking about lack of symptoms today too! I'm 10+5 and have my scan a week tomorrow, I already saw a heartbeat at 7+4 so I know my chances are good, but I had a mmc earlier this year so any symptoms have been very welcome. I keep trying to remind myself that I felt ok with my son too, but it was over three years ago and I can't remember exactly how I was feeling at what stage!

QforCucumber · 18/08/2015 18:20

I am stroppy today, so unbelievably stroppy! Just had a right go at dp - in the 5 years we have been together I have always done the food shopping, I go alone and I've never minded - until today apparently when he asked me to get something when I go on friday and I flew off at him about how if he wants thing's he should go himself and stop getting me to do it for him?! I'm in bed sulking now, I feel angry but no energy to be annoyed. Hmm fun times.

Poppins27 · 18/08/2015 20:08

Aw q, must be the hormones!! I had horrendous PMT type strips last week too, happy to say that's subsided...for now at least!!

To be fair most of my symptoms have. I definitely have my appetite back, no nausea since Friday, even went back to the gym yesterday and cooked a whole meal tonight!!

Hoping it's good news and that I can start feeling myself again rather than it being anything sinister but my scan isn't until 26th so it will be a looooong 8 days!!

AdorabeezleWinterpop · 18/08/2015 21:42

I really hope my nausea wears off soon. I feel absolutely horrific. I ended up braving soft play today so that I could sit still while the DC played. The slightest smell sets me off - even the smell of the crockery cupboard, which I am sure has no smell!

Trinpy · 19/08/2015 00:15

Thanks for the reassurance everyone. I had some quite strong period type cramps earlier and had a little panic but no bleeding so fx it's just everything stretching. I have my scan the week after I come back from holiday so I think it's going to be a very stressful holiday!

celen that's interesting, I didn't know that the placenta started taking over that early on. I'm 8+5 so maybe that is part of the reason I'm not feeling many symptoms now.

Q funny you said that about the mini ultrasound scanner - we actually have one of those at my work! It took all my willpower this morning not to have a quick check but I'm not quite desperate enough to risk getting caught misusing equipment - plus it would be very embarrassing trying to explain myself to anyone who walked in on me doing it Shock.

I remember the irrational mood swings from last time round. Fun times Hmm.

MyNameIsSuz · 19/08/2015 06:44

Ok so my symptoms are mostly gone but one thing tells me it's still in there - my nose! I'm waking up every morning with a completely blocked up nose, having to blow it and it's just full... gross, sorry. I remember this from when I was pregnant with ds. Anyone else got this?

Off work today with a boy who was sick yesterday at the childminder's (and is now completely fine but she has a 48 hour rule, grr) so looking forward to a tv day and trying not to panic about how much work I'm going to have to catch up on!
