I absolutely love the name Robyn but it's one of my best friend's names so don't really feel I can use it.

marmitemofo · 17/08/2015 10:15

I really like the name George Q, but DP has vetoed it as my family dog when growing up was called George (in fact I chose the name) and he said he doesn't want us to name the baby after a dog Hmm. I also like the name Robyn maybe but DPs old boss was called Robin so has vetoed it.

Rosieblossom123 · 17/08/2015 10:35

Mrsrsw I'm so sorry hun, my thoughts are with you and your family Flowers

I haven't been sick sick since last Monday so happy, starting to feel more human again which helps a bit especially at work. Still off food though everything sounds disgusting to me. I also feel really guilty my diet is terrible, my weekend consisted of Chinese, pizza and KFC Blush

12 weeks scan is on the 28th can't to see how different my little bean looks!!

QforCucumber · 17/08/2015 10:48

Everyones scans seem so soon, mine is 3 weeks today - apparently I'll be 13+1 by then but I rang and they can't get me in any earlier so just have to wait Sad

sjd114 · 17/08/2015 10:48

Hi everyone.

Not good news.. miscarriage. I'm heartbroken. Sad sorry I couldn't bear good news. :( thank you for all your well wishes. Just wasn't my time. Xx

AdorabeezleWinterpop · 17/08/2015 10:50

George is our top boy's name and Georgina is up there for girls!! Have you seen the ONS list has been released for 2014?

www.ons.gov.uk/ons/publications/re-reference-tables.html?edition=tcm%3A77-370365

AdorabeezleWinterpop · 17/08/2015 10:50

Just seen that sjd - so very sorry Flowers

QforCucumber · 17/08/2015 10:59

Oh no sjd thoughts are with you, it is such an awful thing to go through. Take as much time to grieve as you need, it is grieving and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

adora I saw that this morning, I think I'm going to talk dp into sticking with Nicholas and Robyn as neither of those are on there and I really don't want to have a name which is sooo common there are more than say 3 in the class, my form at school had 5 Davids and it would get so confusing sometimes.

Rosieblossom123 · 17/08/2015 11:09

sjd I'm so sorry, please take care of yourself Flowers

Indomitable · 17/08/2015 11:10

Oh no, so sorry sjd Flowers

maybebabybee · 17/08/2015 11:19

so sorry sjd, it's such a horrible feeling.

I know this has been said on here before but I really do recommend the MC boards on here, they were a great source of support when this happened to me.

QforCucumber · 17/08/2015 12:37

I think I've fallen in love with the name Elliott, but for a girl - would this be too odd??

Rosieblossom123 · 17/08/2015 12:40

Q I've got a friend called Elliott, I think it's a cool name for a girl :)

MyNameIsSuz · 17/08/2015 13:19

Oh no sjd, I'm so sorry Flowers

MyNameIsSuz · 17/08/2015 13:23

Thanks for posting that adorabeezle! Pleased to see ds's name is nowhere to be seen - I have a boring married name too beautiful, we avoided anything in the top 50.

Cherrytoes · 17/08/2015 14:56

Not been on for a while but just wanted to say Mrs & sjd I'm so so sorry to hear this time has not worked out for you both, wholeheartedly wishing you well for next time, whenever you're ready. X

Paperblank · 17/08/2015 16:31

Indomitable · 17/08/2015 16:44

Oh, Q I like that!

Whatshername in scrubs was called Elliot.

Indomitable · 17/08/2015 16:46

Oh, got my scan date: 15th Sept. I'll be 12+4 I think. And it's the middle of the day so DS will be at school. Ideal.

Rosieblossom123 · 17/08/2015 17:28

So I think I just jinxed myself :( Just been sick twice at work really thought I was getting better haven't been sick since Monday!! arghhhhh haha

Oh and my nose was bleeding at the same time, has anyone had that before?

Me624 · 17/08/2015 17:55

So sorry for you sjd Flowers take care of yourself.

I've just looked at the baby name list to get some inspiration for girls' names as I'm not totally convinced about the one DH and I have tentatively chosen, but I didn't like anything in the entire top 100! This is going to be difficult if we have a girl ...

MyNameIsSuz · 17/08/2015 18:03

Look at the whole list me, there are some lovely names outside of the top 100. Both our girl frontrunners are I think (Cecilia and Margot if that's helpful Smile) but I'm fairly certain this will be another boy and we don't have any boy names!

BeautifulLiar · 17/08/2015 18:25

I'm cross that Nancy has entered the top 100! Grumpy.

Missdee2014 · 17/08/2015 19:32

So sorry sjd. It's a horrible time, I hope you're getting plenty support in rl ???? xx

sjd114 · 17/08/2015 19:47

Hi everyone;

Thankyou so much for all your well wishes.. I'm getting a lot of support from friends & family in RL.
So So hard to come to terms with it all, and have to let nature take its cause. :(

I shall leave this thread, as don't want to fill it with misery. :(

Thankyou again. xx
