I've been very bunged up as well MyNameIsSuz. Wasn't sure if that was a symptom though - maybe it is!

MyNameIsSuz · 19/08/2015 07:15

I'm pretty sure it's an official symptom - pregnancy rhinitis? I'm counting it anyway as I remember it from the first time!

Celen · 19/08/2015 07:28

I'm constantly moody, my toddler gets on my nerves 24-7 at the moment, I really am being a crap mum at the moment Sad Doesn't help that his clinginess levels have gone through the roof, he's dropped his nap so I do 13 hours days by myself most of the week (DH works long days in London) Hmm Sad

maldini · 19/08/2015 07:33

Hi all, haven't had a chance to properly catch up and have name changed but have skimmed. Sorry to hear about the sad news on the thread, hope you are both being kind to ourselves Sad

On names, I think it was Q, apologies if it was someone else, Robyn is number 100 this year unfortunately! I'm quite surprised by this! Looking at the full list on the ONS site there's quite a few surprises on there isn't there!

If anyone is interested, if you go to this website names.darkgreener.com/# (can't link properly as I'm on mobile site) you can just type in a name and it'll show you the stats for it Smile

lndomitabIe · 19/08/2015 07:52

Morning all, just checking: has everyone changed their passwords? If you haven't, you should. (And for anything else you use your mn password for)

MyNameIsSuz · 19/08/2015 07:54

I haven't, why?

lndomitabIe · 19/08/2015 08:15

The site was hacked last week, and it looks like again last night, by some muppet with issues with women. He's published a list of usernames and passwords and claims to have more.

I wouldn't worry too much, mn don't actually gather or store much info. But it's a good idea to change your password now, and make sure the url when you do starts httpS://

lndomitabIe · 19/08/2015 08:17

There's a couple of sticky threads in chat/actives about it, and I've just had the same info via email.

MyNameIsSuz · 19/08/2015 09:01

Thanks, I'm not on the list but have changed password anyway.

QforCucumber · 19/08/2015 09:32

I've changed mine as had a proper mess about getting logged on last night,

why someone would feel the need to do such a thing is beyond me, much better things to do with my time.

Symptoms appear to have vanished this morning, enjoying feeling like myself again for a while, will hold onto it as I'm sure they'll come back with a vengeance soon enough.

Me624 · 19/08/2015 09:53

I had to change mine last night, it wouldn't let me log on although my password was saved by my browser so I know it was right! I hope I am not on the list, will check shortly.

I've had some funny feelings in my belly for the last few days. I say feelings because I wouldn't describe them as cramps or pains, it's just a sort of slight stabbing every now and then but quite high up to the left of my belly button, so not where I'd expect any baby related pains to be! Probably nothing but every little niggle makes me anxious!

MyNameIsSuz · 19/08/2015 10:00

Ooh me, I've had pain like that too! So weird! And real aching at the bottom of my ribs, which I think is trapped wind... I hope.

maybebabybee · 19/08/2015 10:32

Good news from my private scan- I've been moved ahead a few days to put me at 11+1 weeks rather than 10+5. Baby is measuring nearly 5cm now, heart rate was 175bpm which is apparently good. Sonographer technically couldn't give me the nuchal translucency scan as baby wasn't quite 5cm yet, but she could see that the fluid was normal so hopefully that will be the same when I have my NHS scan on the 3rd.

Hope I can relax a bit now! And to those of you with lessening symptoms - take heart from the fact that mine have certainly faded off somewhat over the last week and I have had a good scan :)

sjd114 · 19/08/2015 10:42

Hi ladies. another update I was told I had miscarried on Monday - but was sent back the the epu for more blood tests to check my hormal levels are dropping; although today I went in and they had said they hadn't dropped so needed to scan.. (this broke my heart) but they can see the sac!! & it's grown.. a lot. As I went in before thinking I was 10 weeks.. They have written on the paperwork I am 6 weeks?! Also, they have told me I have a 50/50 chance. And to go back next Friday for another scan... but I'm obviously not getting my hopes up, as I've been told it's a miscarriage , but today was different. . I'm confused.. my head is all a wobble.. any any any anyyyy advice is welcoming?!
X

lndomitabIe · 19/08/2015 11:11

Wow that is confusing sjd.

I'd be amazed if your dates could be so out, but if there's something still growing there, then that's a positive.

My sister had her dates put back by 3 weeks, meaning she's got her BFP before conception Hmm but DN arrived when we expected him and perfectly healthy. So maybe this is a more extreme case?

Some mammals can stall embryo growth early on. Apparently humans can't, but I've heard about a greater range of variation in growth in early pregnancy than is often accepted.

Try to stay positive sjd, we'll have to wait and see. But today you are still pregnant! x

lndomitabIe · 19/08/2015 11:14

So was it that they couldn't find anything on Monday, but now they have?

sjd114 · 19/08/2015 11:20

Well basically. . On the paperwork they've given me.. It says..

From Monday -
Gestational Sac - uncertain
Yolk sac - absent
Gestational sac size : 4mm X 8mm X 6mm.
In the notes it said "likely misscarriage"

Today it says:

Gestational sac : present
Yolk sac : present
Gestational sac size :10mm X 8mm X 8mm

To be honest, my brain is broken from it all. I just want a yes or a no, which I know they can't give me just yet. :(

sjd114 · 19/08/2015 11:25

This is what they gave me..

lndomitabIe · 19/08/2015 11:25

Well that's definitely progress.

It's so hard to not know. It's a waiting game now. Hunker down and hibernate if you like, or throw yourself into work if you prefer.

Fingers crossed. Flowers Brew Cake

sjd114 · 19/08/2015 11:27

Fingers crossed. Thank you for your amazing kindness throughout all of my posts on here. You are a lovely person.

X

Me624 · 19/08/2015 11:45

God sjd what an emotional roller coaster. 4 weeks is a long way for the dates to be out, but you do see all sorts of stories on here. Is there any chance you had a chemical pregnancy and then immediately got pregnant again the following cycle? That's the only way I can think to explain it!

It sounds like you've got a horrible wait ahead, try and keep busy and take care of yourself Flowers

Jenbee1 · 19/08/2015 12:17

fingers crossed for good news sjd x sorry i've not been on here much. Not sure where the time is going. Thank you to the ladies that shared their previous birth stories, a couple of them sounded just like mine and as horrible as it is it is nice to know that others went through the same. I had a follow up with the midwife and it was great. Helped put my mind at ease no end. Sorry some of you didnt have such a positive experience. I'll be asking for an elcs this time too. Booking in next week - no appointments available until then, the joys of finding out late Smile - but no scan date yet.

BeautifulLiar · 19/08/2015 12:19

Sounds hopeful sjd, good luck.

Pretty sure mine was one of the accounts frigging posted online. I haven't been able to sign in for a while but had no idea about the hack so I feel pretty violated now!!

Definitely still got symptoms. Ugh!

I had my booking in appointment yesterday and it was brilliant. Same midwife as 3 times before but she just seemed... different this time, like she was actually talking to me adult to adult!

Me624 · 19/08/2015 12:20

I've just had an email saying mine was one of the accounts! I reset my password last night but used the same one so I'm off to change it again now. How annoying! I do use the same password for quite a lot of things as well (though not anything important like banking) so will have to change loads! Grrr.

MyNameIsSuz · 19/08/2015 12:39

Oh sjd, how confusing for you. I had very similar, two scans a week apart and the sac and foetal pole had grown but it was way out for my dates. That week waiting for another scan was just awful, I really feel for you. If you're anything like me saying this will drive you nuts as you'll be trying not to get your hopes up, but I will be crossing everything for good news for you.
