Yep beautiful I'm with you on the never ending feeling. I am so fed up with feeling so sicky and tired all the bloody time. And I know I'm a pain the ass to be around as well. DH is an absolute saint :-)

Smirkingpicnicbasket · 14/08/2015 21:31

I don't know what I would go without my DH, I wouldn't put up with my whining and moaning, I'm always sneaking off to bed leaving him to tidy up and he just gets on with it! Mind you he makes up for it when I'm the one whose cleaning but he's amazing at the moment! I'm counting down to 17 weeks as that's when I felt relatively normal again last time! Only 7 weeks to go Hmm

purplesnail · 14/08/2015 22:11

Feeling really fed up today, will be 11 weeks tomorrow and the last couple of days I've felt a little better so thought the sickness was on its way out but felt awful today :-(
On the bright side got my scan booked for the 27th Aug and had my booking appointment with my lovely independent midwife this week, really hope the sickness goes away soon for us all.

lilmisshopeful · 14/08/2015 22:11

I was sick until 22 weeks last time. 22 WEEKS!!! Really hoping it will stop sooner this time round....sickness started much earlier with this one which hopefully means the pregnancies are just v different altogether and therefore I don't have another 11 weeks awaiting me.

I think it does get easier once 12 weeks passes just because people know you're pg so cut some slack. (And I can wear my baby on board badge and always get a seat on the train!)

lilmisshopeful · 14/08/2015 22:12

Fab news about your scan dobby :-)

Indomitable · 15/08/2015 09:28

Morning, glad to hear about the good scans! (And if anyone wants to upload their pics, I'd love it. It'll be weeks before I even get a date for mine).

I need to complain about WIND! Every morning I have to deflate. It's so painful! It takes hours to deflate properly. I remember having this with DS when my belly was huge (I don't remember when it started). And it's already been going on for weeks. Fortunately, DH has no problem with my deflation process! But OW!

JanineMelnitzGlasses · 15/08/2015 09:50

Another congrats on all the good scans! Keep them coming. I've got ages to wait too.

I don't usually get any symptoms but sea-sickness is a good way to describe it. Feel like I have a permanent hangover without the good night out. Nearly fainted at the train station yesterday, felt a right tit hanging on to a light post. Must remember to carry snacks.

Love your term 'deflating' Indomitable I shall be using this from now on!

BeautifulLiar · 15/08/2015 09:59

Deflate!! Ahahaha. Pregnancy sure is glam...

QforCucumber · 15/08/2015 10:31

I think I've 'deflated' this morning - even after an Indian takeaway last night, I weighed myself this morning and am 2lbs lighter. Nothing like weight loss at 10 weeks to set you off in a panic symptom spotting everything else Confused

Smirkingpicnicbasket · 15/08/2015 10:44

Yes to the wind!! Ha ha deflation process, I had a big deflation session this morning after eating a Big Mac and sensations crisps last night! Ouch!!

Indomitable · 15/08/2015 10:44

Ah, Q maybe the bloat is starting to abate?! That gives us all hope.

I'm now having a rest after a shower. I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to function in September...

sherazade · 15/08/2015 10:57

Morning all. Glad your scan went well, dobby. Thought my MS subsided yesterday but any respite is soon met with full force nausea. adorabeezle your scan is 2 days before mine. Can't wait for this trimester to be well and truly over. Looking forward to no more nausea, and to feeling baby kicks and having a proper bump!

BeautifulLiar · 15/08/2015 11:40

What did you order, Q? We have an Indian takeaway every Saturday but it's just not the same anymore Sad

Paperblank · 15/08/2015 12:10

Question for you...I am 10 + 3 and have had slight crampy pains almost like period pains this morning. They aren't constant just every now and then. Anyone else got this?

OP posts:
BeautifulLiar · 15/08/2015 12:39

Yes paper. I'm about 10+6 (though suspect more like 10+3) and get period pains sometimes. Weirdly I didn't really get them in the beginning.
I hate throwing bread back up :(

QforCucumber · 15/08/2015 13:23

beautiful literally just korma, pilau and naan with poppadoms and chutneys, hadnt had one in agesssssss and got a sudden urge for a chicken korma. It was divine.
paper same here, 10 weeks today and weird cramps when I sit in certain positions, only weak but definitely there.

indomitable oh I hope so, nothing fits anymore so happy for the bloat to go down.

Also discovered a newfound love for red grape schloer!

BeautifulLiar · 15/08/2015 13:25

Ooh yeh korma. Might have to go for that, thanks Smile

lilmisshopeful · 15/08/2015 13:42

Mmmmm I want chicken korma now. Thanks q. Takeaway tonight :-)

JanineMelnitzGlasses · 15/08/2015 14:23

Whoever mentioned ice lollies for nausea thank you! Have just demolished an R Whites and it's done the trick.

BeautifulLiar · 15/08/2015 14:27

God damn it, I keep forgetting to put ice lollies in the asda shop!

Paperblank · 15/08/2015 15:41

2 packs of R Whites lollies for £3.00 in Tesco Grin

They are mine and the baby's. Woe betide DP if he touches them.

JanineMelnitzGlasses · 15/08/2015 16:11

DH asked if he could have one and I let him. I've made a rooky error there haven't I?! Grin

Paperblank · 15/08/2015 16:36

All those of you chowing down on ice lollies, I'm just going to throw out there... mini Twisters. Refreshing and juicy but also a little bit ice creamy. Perfect!

QforCucumber · 15/08/2015 16:52

Mini twisters are amazing, also orange calippos - the most refreshing lollies ever.
Wow i have a iceland a 5 min drive away, dp is at the match - i'm going ice cream shopping Grin
