Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 36th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 35th grads fred is here.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Ok so today I've had:
2 crumpets with peanut butter
3 crackers and 1 laughing cow triangle
Strawberries
Chicken fried rice with veggies (homemade by dp)
Banana
Nakd bar
2 choc chip cookies
Steamed fish, egg and tomato in a sauce thing, spinach, lamb and onions, rice (went to dps parents for dinner so it was random Chinese stuff)
Cherries

So loads! Just feel constantly hungry so have to keep snacking. Think I might have to have another piece of the flapjack that dp made as well since its just sitting there in its box staring at me....... I've put on 10 pounds in the last 5 weeks since I've started to be able to eat again Blush

CountryGal4 · 06/08/2015 20:58

Things that the smell/sight of make me heave:

Bananas
Eggs
Curry

Also stopped drinking tea and I love tea Sad

gaggiagirl · 06/08/2015 21:03

purple jc* those menus sound yummy! I would have easily eaten all that a few weeks ago but I'm full tummy now. I couldn't eat my dads fancy bread or my bovril on monday Sad
You lot haven't gained the vast poundage of my rounded self so you may all keep eating!!!!!

SecondCupOfTea · 06/08/2015 21:09

I've been rather bad foodwise today, probably cos I'm here on my own (DP staying in central London overnight cos of tube strike).

Breakfast - bacon and mushroom sarnie on seeded bread (important fibre for pooville).
Lunch - er...another bacon and mushroom sarnie Blush
Dinner - large dominos pizza eaten all but one slice
Snacks - packet of French fries, two choc digestives, pint of strawberry crusha mixed with milk obviously!

There is half a homemade lemon drizzle cake in kitchen, and I might have an ice cream cone later Blush. Fortunately I don't eat this crap everyday, or I'd be giving birth to a ball of cholesterol.

SecondCupOfTea · 06/08/2015 21:15

fuck it, just ate the last slice of pizza

ThursdayLast · 06/08/2015 21:42

Purple just wanna sneak a quick high five for the crumpets with buttress and bovril. My DH thinks I'm mad, but it's my favourite way to eat them even when I'm not pg!

honeysucklejasmine · 06/08/2015 21:59

Today I have had...
B: Bacon sandwich
L: pub food burger, salad and chips. Plain burger, just ketchup.
D: three belvita biscuits with chocolate chips my nan gave me, which taste amazing.

I have also sat on the m25 for a total of about 3 hours today, but have not been sick! Wooo!

Feeling very bloated though. Sad I look about 6 months preg!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 06/08/2015 22:08

I saw the maternity endocrinologist today and have put on a kilo since last week Hmm

Today I've eaten

2 small slices brown soda bread toasted with butter and jam
Approx 8 cream crackers
A chicken and stuffing sarnie from hospital canteen and a coke
4 servings of fresh pineapple and 1 serving fresh mango
Mint magnum
Can of ginger beer
5 chicken fingers with hot sauce and ceasar dressing for dipping
A small portion of spaghetti and to.a to sauce with Parmesan and one piece of garlic bread.

Well that clears up the weight question.

TriJo · 06/08/2015 22:12

Today I have had...

Alpen, almond milk and coffee
Soy yogurt at work after running in
Chicken sandwich and tomato soup with a cup of tea
Noodles when I got home because I knew there would be a long wait for dinner
Chili with plenty of veg and rice for dinner

I need more fruit and probably less carbs.

honeysucklejasmine · 06/08/2015 22:16

Tri are you dairy intolerant? I've been trying to avoid it today as it was suggested it can make MS worse. Have mostly felt better. Although heaving as I type

Niffertiti · 06/08/2015 22:16

Ahem I have eaten:

Large bowl shreddies/grape nuts/granola with full fat Greek yoghurt (for pooville, can't remember who coined the phrase Grin)
Tesco berries pot
Banana
Small glass Mango and pineapple smoothie
Feta sandwich
Pack baked crisps
More smoothie
3 choccies

Went out for dinner with DH in Chinatown and stuffed myself with Taiwanese dumplings, wontons, slow-braised belly pork, and a mountain of chilli crab err forgot I was pregnant but apparently crab is fine.

Christ that's a lot.

I'm a bit sad viroids, it was mine and dh's last dinner out together just the two of us before he departs for far-flung shores and his new jobSad. He goes a week tomorrow but we've various moving and family things before then so tonight was our last hurrah. I'll see him for a few days in mid September then again when I follow in October.

JC, would, pretz, budge up on the mental bench (I'll be needing quite a lot of space after all my eating), I'm also with the MH midwives. Eeee, it's getting quite busy over here isn't it! They've sent me a letter, I've not got in contact with them yet... I don't really like admitting to being a mentalist I just swallows me pills and keeps quiet in the corner rocking gently

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 06/08/2015 22:17

Tri forget counting carbs. Just add more fruit! You need the carbs. You're building a person! High protein stuff is really filling too.

says the fat lady who had two fizzy drinks today... One was medicinal, I swear!

honeysucklejasmine · 06/08/2015 22:19

I really want some fish balls tomorrow. There are some in freezer... Think there's noodles in the cupboard. Not sure if I have miso paste... Argh! Need DH to look in cupboard but he "man looks" and doesn't know what miso looks like. Hmm (a box, with "miso" written on it!)

TriJo · 06/08/2015 22:22

Have been mostly dairy free for about 6 years. I used to have terrible sinus issues and constant infections and they just don't happen any more if I minimise my intake.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 06/08/2015 22:26

Oh and Gouda I was thinking of you earlier today. It is normal for both of you to get bent out of shape. Having a baby is a big deal and everyone deals with the stress differently. It sounds to me like you are feeling disappointed in your DH and perhaps your well meaning approach had backfired a little? I know when I was pregnant the first time around I was petrified and that manifested mostly as being a bit of a madam with my XH and my staff. I had expectations and if people didn't meet them it made me very upset because I was desperately trying to regain some kind of mental equilibrium. Also, my hormones were playing with my emotions.

Now I'm not saying this is the case with you, and your DH may well be acting like a total idiot... What I'm trying to say is that if you cut him some slack it may be easier to work out what is bothering him, which in turn might make you feel better.

5hell · 06/08/2015 22:33

Hugs nif (unmumsnetty of course ) hopefully u can have lots of face time etc (not quite the same i know) and just think how great it will be to see him

Niffertiti · 06/08/2015 22:45

Gah honey, what is it with men and cupboards? Mine goes through a phase of making a particular dish/cake, and we end up with 6 tubes of Harissa or pots of baking soda. Why don't they realise things can come out of cupboards rather than just go in?Shock

pretzelpieces · 06/08/2015 23:07

niff hooray for fellow crazies! It's cosy in this corner. Grin

Today I've eaten:
Three crumpets with marmite and cheese on
Sandwich with paste and spinach
Cherries
Square crisps
Mushroom tortellini with sauce and spinach
Popcorn
Pick n mix
Ham sandwich
Grapes

honeysucklejasmine · 07/08/2015 06:38

Niff will you be packing up the house on your own? Or have you already packed away what you can? I know shipping tales a while so I guess you might have sent some stuff over already? I reckon it'll all go pretty quickly. And you have us lot to keep you occupied Grin

NFMA: After a lot of farting I am finally not bloated anymore Grin Quite impressed how much gas was in me.

Purpleball · 07/08/2015 07:22

Niff that's sounds really tough. Sending hugs Thanks

jellypi3 · 07/08/2015 07:39

Haha love all the menu's!!

Yesterday I had:

  • 2 yogurt bar things
  • 1 croissant
  • 1 Apple
  • burrito and rice
  • 1 orange
  • gammon, oven chips and grilled tomato!

Oh and sweet....

I'm such a fatty

Niffertiti · 07/08/2015 08:02

Fanks for the sympathy viroids! I don't like going to bed on my own in case I get murdered in my sleep totes rational so hopefully my mum will stay with me quite a bit (and cook my dinner tooGrin). I feel like a 4 year old 'mummy mummy I'm afraid of the dark!'.

We'll have quite a lot of the big packing sorted by then honey, the packers are coming next week. I actually think that will help me to start making the break from the house being 'home' to somewhere I can imagine being rented out.

I'll have all the baby stuff to sort/pack plus getting ready to rent out before I go (and sadly my job is going to be mental til I go - no summer break for me!) , so still quite a lot but both sets of parents are being drafted in.

Gouda, sorry you and DH are arguing. It is tough being far from home. I don't know much about your circs and why you're in France but I know from previous experiences trailing my dh's job that it piles the pressure on your relationship.

And I do think adjusting to the idea of being parents is really hard. I know lots of my friends have been through REALLY tough patches because of it. Bisous!
