Hiya - just thought an alternative place for those of us on our 2nd or more pregnancies might be a good idea. I just found out and already it's very different than the first time!

I'm on #2, EDD 25/3/16, one DS 2yrs and 2 months.

12-week scans:
Carrot - Thursday 3rd September
LOD - Monday 7th

Anymore for anymore?! I have scanned back a couple of pages but not seen any specific dates.

LastOneDancing · 28/08/2015 19:07

smirking how did you get on today?

ThursdayLastWeek · 28/08/2015 19:12

Very organised LOD Smile

I had to go to the MW today to get more bloods done - some kind of admin mix up with the MW sphe took over from, I dunno. No collapsing veins this time though!

Feeling vvv tired and a bit 'on edge' emotionally , but that's oar for the course I suppose.

Brindler · 28/08/2015 21:08

My 12 wk scan is on 2 September - Wednesday! Can't come soon enough!

Currently suffering with the worst trapped wind. Friday nights have never been so glamorous!

hufflebottom · 28/08/2015 21:26

That's organised LastOne.

Smirkingpicnicbasket · 29/08/2015 07:27

Morning

Yesterday went really well, baby is fine and measuring 12+5 so im due on the 7th March 2016!

My 20 weeks scan is on the 23rd of October!

Relieved everything is going well but still exhausted, cannot wait to be back to my usual energetic self!

hufflebottom · 29/08/2015 07:51

That's great Smirking.

Ah the tiredness. I still haven't shifted it

ThursdayLastWeek · 29/08/2015 11:03

Yay for happy scan smirking - fancy showing us??

I think we're going to tell our families this weekend, both our sisters are visiting for the BH weekend, and it seems a bit silly to tell them over the phone in a couple if weeks when they're here now!

So expect me coming in tomorrow to tell you what weird inappropriate thing my mum said in response Grin

hufflebottom · 29/08/2015 11:27

Good luck Thursday. Hope it's better than the 'not another mistake' comment from my grandmother.

Smirkingpicnicbasket · 29/08/2015 12:07

Ha my grandmother tutted at me!

Here is the pic, not great and looks a bit alien like!

Second or subsequent babies due Jan/Feb/March 2016
ThursdayLastWeek · 29/08/2015 15:40

We told DHs family at lunch, they were all very happy for us - DS was being the kind of toddler that makes you not want another at the time Grin

ThursdayLastWeek · 29/08/2015 15:41

smirking it's a lovely picture - it looks like it's got a proper profile, hair and all already!

hufflebottom · 29/08/2015 21:38

Smirking. That's a brilliant scan.

LastOneDancing · 30/08/2015 08:10

Lovely scan Smirking!

Very much looking forward to hearing what your Mum says Thursday!

The bloat has really set in this weekend. I look huge Sad

SunnyL · 30/08/2015 21:08

Sorry I'm back after a week away in the outer hebrides. I'm pretty late on the scan front - not til the 16th which I estimate puts me at 13 weeks then but last time they moved me forwards by 2 weeks after the scan.

hufflebottom · 30/08/2015 22:56

Hi Sunny.
Did you have a nice time?

Brindler · 31/08/2015 08:34

Just sat down with my crumpets, took one bite and had to run to the loo to be sick. Felt absolute fine after and carried on with my breakfast! Most strange! I thought morning sickness was supposed to stop at 12 weeks not start! First time I've been sick and was 12 weeks yesterday!

ThursdayLastWeek · 31/08/2015 08:45

Oh no Brindler! What a disaster! Lovely buttered carbs are about the only thing that stops me feeling sick, I hope this is a one off for you!

All grandparents and aunties informed now - poor little bean, they were all distinctly underwhelmed! I don't actually mind, they were rather over involved with DS.

Anyone told their toddler yet? Any tips on how to go about it?

ThursdayLastWeek · 31/08/2015 08:46

Oh and welcome back Sunny! Was it sunny? That's about as far away from me as it's possible to get!

SunnyL · 31/08/2015 13:18

Yes it was sunny but also so windy you had to stand at a slight angle for fear of falling over. Perfectly normal for the outer Hebrides though!

I'm currently struggling with what appears to be a trapped nerve in my back. According to the NHS website its nothing to do with pregnancy but may become worse as I get fatter. Might make an appointment with the GP anyway as I can't imagine it being much fun when I'm hauling the full weight around with me.

Not told the toddler yet - was wondering when the best time to do it is?

Brindler · 31/08/2015 16:49

I'm planning on telling mine after my scan just to put her out of her misery after asking for a sibling for so long! But dreading the inevitable 'is the baby here yet? Is the baby here yet?' on repeat every day until March!!

Qwertybynature · 31/08/2015 17:39

Can I join please? I'm due Mar 26th although I suspect I'll be late (again)! Have one ds (nearly 2). Scan booked for 9th Sept.

Feeling a bit nervous as had a mmc before this one. Have a bit of nausea and I'm very tired and grumpy (although that could be teething toddler related).

Hope everyone is doing ok? Is definitely different second time around.

Really sorry it hasn't worked out for you this time Rae Flowers
