Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 32nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 50th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

I think dulcet must have gone into hospital? Or perhaps she's just concentrating on what's happening rather than going on an Internet forum!

LaLaLaaaa · 16/07/2015 18:11

Ha indigo!

ThursdayLast · 16/07/2015 18:12

For shame indigo you're right!

Poms poms for Dulcet!

pretzelpieces · 16/07/2015 18:13

indigo Grin

Haven't heard from La or Dulcet for a while. Sending push vibes! Wonder if they'll have their babies on the same day!

All your food talk is making me hungry but Im currently trapped under a fussy miniRM. I want kfc! Whatever you get there needs to be gravy, that's the best bit of kfc.

Looking good question. I'm sort of in the same boat so don't really have an answer for you I'm afraid. Don't have space for a separate tumble dryer, and every combined machine I've used has been rubbish (don't do either job well) so don't think they're worth it. Trouble is my flat is so small there's nowhere really to put washing up indoors without having to shift the rack about if you want to move.
You get through loads of clothes, but we've been given loads of bits for newborn baby so I still only need to do one extra wash load a week than I would usually do.

rm00054 · 16/07/2015 18:16

(cross post) how are the contractions progressing La ?

Purpleball · 16/07/2015 18:20

Pahahaha at wanking in the shower, Ga you always make me laugh GrinGrinGrin

Mushy fucking peas in a fish finger sandwich....I'd LTB for having them in the house

Now craving KFC thanks to you lot Smile I often have a piece of chicken as well as a meal fatty boom boom baby needs protein fatty boom boom

Had a lovely cuppa with my sister and we sorted the baby clothes out that I'd washed. It seems Boots newborn clothes are bigger than Asda and Sainsburys one. We don't seem to have too many tiny ones fortunately

Breaded fish, curly fries and frozen peas for tea here. Can't face another fecking salad, we've had them for days! Also can't be arsed to cook

I never ate the bananas I got in to stop me having cramp so I'm going to make a banana loaf or two tomorrow and freeze them

Purpleball · 16/07/2015 18:22

Looking if you have central heating then you can just put them in a radiator or on an airer near a radiator. I'd play it by ear. We don't use our dryer much as everything goes on the airer. I also got some of those clippy peg things from pound stretcher for under wear, leggings and pjs by the ankles and socks and hang them on the airer too.
Substitute airer for washing line if it's no raining Smile

LaLaLaaaa · 16/07/2015 18:36

I have the same problem with drying clothes. Our house is tiny and we have no tumble dryer. We use a stand pull-out dryer in the kitchen.

I think dulcet is likely to have her baby soon. I am waving my Pom poms.

RM and anyone who's recently gone through this. Can you throw me some hope that this is progressing a bit? I've gone from dull period pain occasionally to feeling heaviness and period pain most of the time in bump and back, with tightening every now and then which is sometimes accompanied by sharper pain.

But I'm not timing anything yet because it's hard to know when the contractions begin and end. Do they just get more frequent/painful? Is this the start?

LaLaLaaaa · 16/07/2015 18:39

I've got another sweep tomorrow

CountryGal4 · 16/07/2015 18:47

indigo I was about to say that haha

Five weeks today! Does the fear ever go away!?

Pisghetti · 16/07/2015 18:56

If it's white bread then it has to be ketchup. If it's naice bread then you need tartare sauce. Salad cream indeed.... You're a filthy bunch.

I've found the tumble dryer essential - like when you've just changed the bed and the baby throws up all over it. You could probably get away with it if you're more of a muslin ninja than I am. With DS our kitchen was tiny so we had the tumble drier in the bedroom (and the fridge in the dining room!).

Sounds like progress to me La!

honeysucklejasmine · 16/07/2015 19:04

I had chili con carne for dinner. It was good.

We are thinking about getting a combi washer dryer. We're good at putting things on the line but find if such a pain when the airers are all over the place. Plus we plan to cloth bum, so will prob need it for our winter baby! (Or, you know, cause we live in England.)

Going to local national trust property with my sister, DNs and DM tomorrow. DSis is also preg so we can compare stories.

Country honestly, no. You get slightly better at managing/ ignoring it though.

Scan in two days time. I am being a total pessimist as my coping strategy and it's working.

RhiannonElward · 16/07/2015 19:04

Awww Ga we only left before I had a chance to read your advice and I ended up forgoing the fillet burger because Grandad said he was paying and I didn't want to be greedy. I have that meal etched on my brain for next time though Grin

Glad to see everyone has excellent plans for tea, bat the curry sounds like a plan and anything with fish is always good.

La it really does sound like you have something going on and I'm very excited by all the news from your cervix. Looks like Dulcet is doing well too :) I'm moving up this list disconcertingly fast mind you so can the rest of you close your legs until I buy a few more bits for the baby? ThanksWink

CountryGal4 · 16/07/2015 19:07

Do not get a combo washer dryer they're shite!! We have one and it takes two hours to dry a thin cotton tshirt. But when I say dry it's still a little damp

Thanks honey

RhiannonElward · 16/07/2015 19:14

As for tumble dryers my advice would be get a good one or don't bother. We have a cheap condenser one and it's useless, it's just as quick to dry things on a clothes horse so not worth the effort and electric. We're getting a new one though, I'm struggling with the washing as it is so we need a good one. I can't wait.

jellypi3 · 16/07/2015 19:29

Evening viroids. Waving my rather snotty Pom pom's for dulcet and la.

My grandparents came home from Spain today so they picked me Up, took me to theirs and made me sleep in their bed with a hot water bottle. I missed them so much. Back home now and still feel like death. Is it wrong to take two days off work for a cold? I feel like I'm skiving but I really haven't got the energy to move.

oneyorkshirepud · 16/07/2015 19:42

Evening all, tumble dryer chat? What happened to all the talk of willies, farts and weeing oneself?! Hee hee. We have a combined dryer and it's not bad actually. I will put what model it is tomorrow. It can wash 8kg. Then we take out all of our outdoor stuff (wool socks, base layers etc), then split the load in half and tble dry it. It seems to work quite well and we don't end up doing such tumble drying as we try to wash when we know we can use the line.

Country the anxiety got much better for me after the 12 week scan. It's still there but not as bad!

Dulcet, puuuuuuuuuuush!!

La, hope you are okay love, must be frustrating to be in pain but not feel like much is happening - I'm sure it is though!

oneyorkshirepud · 16/07/2015 19:44

Jelly I had two days off after having a cold because I couldn't stand up, I couldn't even shower! I think colds affect you differently when you are pregnant, plus the exhaustion = not much fun! Defo have time off.

honeysucklejasmine · 16/07/2015 20:01

Jelly be serious. Do you seriously think you can get up early, get dressed, go to the train station, endure a commute, 8 hours working and then the commute home too?! As if. Stay in bed or get a hooyah. [glare]

Lots to think about re tumble driers! We don't have room for a separate one. Be interested to hear from pud about her model.v

Lookingforadvice123 · 16/07/2015 20:02

I know sorry viroids I've really lowered the tone on this thread with my tumble dryer chat! Gah I don't know what to do, there's no space to have a separate one, so would have to be a combo condensing one, but what's the point if it barely dries anything! We have got central heating and a big living room and a small albeit separate dining room, also the baby's room is a decent sized double so could purposefully leave some clothes airer space by the radiator...times like this I could do with a third bedroom! Such a first world problem though so I am sorry Grin

Puuuuush dulcet (if you're in labour)!

country you will be so much less anxious after 12 weeks. I have terrible anxiety and I've been so much better, still have my moments but it's a relief after the first trimester.

WilHarlot · 16/07/2015 20:11

Ducking in to say we have a combined washer/dryer and it dries fine. Can't remember what kind it is but can tell you when I get home if you want?

CountryGal4 · 16/07/2015 20:12

Yeah jelly hooyah (god I haven't hooyahed in like two weeks)

Thanks for the advice re anxiety. I'd love an early scan but fear it will fuel the crazy!

Niffertiti · 16/07/2015 20:12

Jelly stay home and think of it as doing your colleagues a favour. They don't want your germs!

I hate condenser dryers, they just seem to make your clothes hot and wet. If we weren't about to move I'd definitely be getting a proper tumble dryer in the garage.

La, your body is clearly gearing itself up to go. You're like a footballer limbering up on the sidelines... You'll get there. It doesn't sound like much fun Sad. You'll have a baby soon thoughGrin.

Hope dulcet is doing ok.

How's the house coming along ga? Any progress on exchanging? Sorry if I missed it. Exciting times!

indigo I'm curious to know what you do? You seemed to know a lot about the technicalities of horse-birth the other week (those foaling pics were amazingSmile) I've seen on your FB you have lots of pictures of absolutely beautiful TINY ponies. Sorry for being really nosy, I've never really got over my childhood love of horses my daddy wouldn't buy me a pony

I am exhausted this week. I don't think long haul travel and pregnancy are a good combo. I did have 2 big fat juicy burgers for tea though. It was for the beef, I think my iron levels might be a bit low ahem

Indigoblue2 · 16/07/2015 20:12

Has dulcet not been on since 1pm? If not I reckon she's doing something exciting!!
