Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 32nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 50th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

pink custard????

just told my boss. Was better than i expected. He was really happy, said not to worry about the team etc. So i'm pleased :)

ChatEnOeuf · 08/07/2015 16:15

I went into labour at the in-laws first time, and with my mum staying second time...we didn't tell them until the baby arrived though, and I was only in hospital with DH each time until we said it was okay for people to come in.

No news yet from Widdly, Honey though she's been quiet on the Junebugs FB group today...she's more than two weeks over now!

SecondCupOfTea · 08/07/2015 16:31

Purple I too am old enough to remember mint custard...we had it with chocolate cornflake cakes (with a blob of very sweet thick cream on top).

Scuse my strange first post, will introduce myself properly in a mo, but I thought it was important to address the mint custard question first Grin

LaLaLaaaa · 08/07/2015 16:35

Ooooh! Hi tea!!!

Fleurchamp · 08/07/2015 16:46

Yep, pink custard. It didn't taste any different so I assume just colouring was added Confused

SecondCupOfTea · 08/07/2015 16:49

Proper introduction post

Hello viroids Smile

Another joiner from the undergrads fred I think someone put something in the water on the thread in the last few days and I'm still rather in shock. Unlike many folks on the TTC threads, we hadn't been trying long, in fact it was my first proper cycle since stopping contraception (implant). Added to that the fact that we're both in our forties, and we just assumed it would take much longer. DP initially refused to accept the news as "we've not been trying long enough and those lilnes are red and they should be blue" Grin

LMP was 7th June, so I'm only 4 weeks and a few days. Quite shocked at the rapid onset of symptoms - burping a lot, very bloated, weeing for Britain, constipated, and dropping off to sleep in the afternoon. Also annoyingly boobs are already much bigger than normal.

I initially said that we mustn't tell anyone as it's very likely that I could miscarry. Now I'm not sure if that is true (or even what the odds are, or whether I should concern myself with that). I agreed that DP could tell his brother, as I think he wanted desperately to have someone to confide in. I was planning to tell my parents after I've been to the GP on Monday...but I'm not sure why that will make a difference, as I don't think the GP does much, and it'll be at least a couple of weeks before I get a scan.

Maybe I'll tell them at the weekend (they have my brother and his family staying for a couple of days and I think it's unfair for them to not tell him and I don't want to field 'congratulatory' calls

My method of trying to keep it all real at the moment, is to keep telling myself that I must not worry now, as I can't imagine the level of worrying dropping at any point through the pregnancy, and it certainly won't drop after that! So better to start at a really low worry-level and accept that it will only ever increase Grin

Fleurchamp · 08/07/2015 16:55

Welcome tea

I think you have the right attitude - the worry never stops and the worry won't prevent anything bad happening.

I think it's up to you when you tell people - I was like you and did a kitten (fell pregnant on the first go) and so I didn't tell anyone until I was 10 weeks as I needed time to get my head around things! Also, due to a lack of symptoms I wanted the reassurance of a scan - I genuinely thought they would think I was mad when I turned up for my 10 week scan Blush

Basically, whatever is right for you.

honeysucklejasmine · 08/07/2015 17:04

Had a lovely nap this afternoon. I genuinely thought I was going to vomit this morning, but have gone back to vague nausea after my nap. Tomorrow if vomming starts, I shall encourage it. Better out than in. I have a lot if experience of encouraging the inevitable, as I was sick quite often when on my period. I always feel miles better afterwards.

TotallyAnonymousUsername · 08/07/2015 17:06

can I join in? I've been a chronic lurker on the undergrads but I'm going to try to do better here I promise Smile

honeysucklejasmine · 08/07/2015 17:15

Hi Tea and Totally! We just need Carrot then you're all here.

Eating refreshers. Yum.

TotallyAnonymousUsername · 08/07/2015 17:20

Oh i meant to say jelly I'm so pleased that you had a good scan!

tea I'm technically 4 weeks today, calculator says due March 16th meaning April 1st if dd is anything to go by and I'm already feeling quite sick. I had bad morning all day sickness with dd but this is earlier than it started so I'm a little nervous of that. And we're telling our parents and a close friend next week.

jellypi3 · 08/07/2015 17:39

Welcome totally and tea great to see you guys over here :)

Purpleball · 08/07/2015 17:55

Welcome Tea and Totally and congratulations. Haven't seen Carrot and Country on here yet.

Tea, I'm also over 40 Smile

Arm is a bit achy since whooping cough jab but doesn't hurt. According to the sept group it sometimes hurts the day after Sad

Mummynatal class tonight. Have to take my birthing ball which will be fun walking through the town with Grin. I'm not quite sure what to expect, and worrying I'll spend the whole time trying not to fart like I did at the Daisy class Grin

Can't get full today, finished work at 5 since then I've eaten a mini mars bar, a slice of cake, a few Pringles and a few grapes! I could still eat more

SecondCupOfTea · 08/07/2015 17:55

Totally I'm only 4 days further on than you, due March 12th (I think).

I want to tell my folks (and DP wants to tell his) but I'm stuck in an it's-all-too-good-to-be-true phase. I keep reminding myself that it's still very early, and I'm a high MC risk because of my age. Oh bah, there I go again starting to worry!

I've no idea if I'll be allowed to have an early scan - I'd be happy holding off declaring the news for a couple of weeks, but not for a couple of months!

teejayem · 08/07/2015 18:01

Ooh! New grads! Helllooooo!

Just checking in to see if anyone's had a baby yet..... Anyone...? Nooooo?!

Mum bought me a box of eclairs. Tiny tee has done a series of poonados, the likes of which I've never seen, and I'm currently trapped under him feeding while one of the cats is torturing a mouse on the carpet in front of me. TT won't unlatch, it's my nipple or the mouse.

Situation normal here! Grin

honeysucklejasmine · 08/07/2015 18:06

Tee one of my cats is currently murdering a bird in the garden.

DulcetMoans · 08/07/2015 18:08

Welcome to the new comers, come on in and enjoy! Totally up to you when and how you tell people, you'll be nervous either way I am sure.

No babies that we know of tee but awaiting confirmation from wiggly. Sounds like a fun house round your way!

Mine was worse the next day purple but you'll be fine by Friday.

LaLaLaaaa · 08/07/2015 18:16

Hi totally!!! Yay it's lovely to have new folk arrive, congratulations!

I think you have right idea too. It's up to you when you tell folk. But worrying doesn't change, whether you've told or not, and it makes no difference to outcome.

Either way we will all be here to support you through and there's always someone who's just been through your stage of pregnancy as we are all different stages, which is lovely.

Wow I just woke up from a power nap in a pool of drool. Glamour!

Got to wake myself up and head to exercise class. Think I'll be the furthest along this week, as the girl who was week before me had her baby on sat. It's quite poignant as I started this class at 13 weeks with no bump and now I'm 39 weeks with a humongous bump and it might be my last one! I've absolutely loved it and made so many friends.

OP posts:
LaLaLaaaa · 08/07/2015 18:18

Purple mine hurt like buggery for 4 days.

I do hope wiggly has had baby - otherwise she's going to be very overdue! Hopefully she'll pop on and let us know.

New grads feel free to add yourselves to stats, they are in title post.

Feel v sick today but no sign of baby moving

OP posts:
Purpleball · 08/07/2015 18:22

I paid for an early scan, £99 at 7 weeks. You can have them sooner but at 7 weeks there should be a heartbeat and dildocam isn't necessary. Once we had that then we told family and close friends

jellypi3 · 08/07/2015 18:40

la did you just google preggo excercises classes in your area

Fleurchamp · 08/07/2015 19:29

What a lot of murderous cats you ladies have!

tea I paid for my 10 week scan and took the harmony test at the same time.

purple mine also hurt more the next day but went after a couple of days

honeysucklejasmine · 08/07/2015 19:38

La please tell me you mean "no sign of baby being born" as opposed to "moving" Shock

gaggiagirl · 08/07/2015 20:01

Welcome tea and totally!!!!!!!

My school dinner wasn't very filling. Delish but not a lot of it.

I'm so tired and hungry and the bump has hiccups which is sweet.

gaggiagirl · 08/07/2015 20:02

Oh jelly I forgot to say congratulations on your lovely scan. I'm glad your boss was happy for you too.
