Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 30th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 48th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: Stats

Gaggia wtf!? Firstly - that's surely illegal? Secondly I'm a absolutely certain you are not 'huge'!

I went through period where my bump seemed large. But my body caught up with it and by the end it was much more in proportion

DulcetMoans · 20/06/2015 07:42

Yeah, that's a good summary really. Nothing juicy. la did tell them we live here though so hopefully no invaders! They are a bit catty and who needs that?

One of the NCT girls said her contractions were from the top of her bump, not the bottom, and she didn't expect that. I guess I wouldn't either. Not to freak you out fleur! Teacher said it is because uterus is pushing down so you can feel from the top.

LaLaLaaaa · 20/06/2015 07:48

Awww cym I really feel for you - this last bit must be so bloody frustrating! Plus you've got added pressure of your other DC to consider.

We will try to keep you entertained!

My sil drank castor oil on recommendation of Dr and her labour started when she was 11 days over. Is that ever recommended here? She is in USA

I've got coffee with my fit mummy ladies this morning. I have made such a nice group of friends through that class I know I'm really lucky to have it in my area.

I'm looking forward to coffee and a scone, the place we are going to does amazing cakes. I may as well kick off mat leave the way I intend to go on.

LaLaLaaaa · 20/06/2015 07:51

Yeah I really should t have told them where we live. I stuck up for dulcet and said I was friends with her from another thread and they asked which one. Dammit.

Oh well - it's over now!

Sounds like BH Fleur I get that a lot

honeysucklejasmine · 20/06/2015 07:55

Ga that's awful! Does your company have a HR department? It's about time the fuckers did something.

Cym gx for something happening soon!

Ok, so I know it's really naughty, but I was working myself up in to a bit of a state re symptoms. Last time I had loads of cramps and my boobs were on fire. This time, nothing. You guys reassured me, but my mind was starting to imagine the worst so I took another test. Thick, dark line came up instantly, so now whenever I have doubts I will look at that and hopefully STFU!

LaLaLaaaa · 20/06/2015 07:58

Honey hooyah hooyah hooyah!!

But I'm glad you're reassured Grin

Symptoms are different for everyone - Fleur had none, I had barely any then tonnes at 7 weeks, others like poor JC are sick every day

LaLaLaaaa · 20/06/2015 08:03

When we've popped shall we organise a JSers meet, perhaps in London? I think a lot of us are within reach? Or is that a bad idea?

honeysucklejasmine · 20/06/2015 08:13

I know Sad And I think that if this was my first pregnancy then I wouldn't be so paranoid. Still, as Cym said, every pregnancy is different. But yes, now I can tell the side of my brain that is screaming "mmc" at me to FOTTFSOFTFOSM.

There should def be a JS meeting IRL. I am fascinated by the idea of you having a Scottish accent. I just can't cope with that!

Fleurchamp · 20/06/2015 08:13

Sounds good to me la and London would be v easy for me selfish Grin

DulcetMoans · 20/06/2015 08:18

London would be fine for me - although never tried with a pram on the train so might be more difficult! I would get in to waterloo in case that helps?

Honey, no! No to sticks! Glad it made you feel better but could go the other way so be careful!

Who is doing the next thread then? cym?? tee did this one and baby was here within first couple pages!

We are trying out baby names today. It's not going well...

LaLaLaaaa · 20/06/2015 08:23

My accent isn't strong unless I'm in Scotland or with Mr La. Edinburgh accent isn't strong to begin with. Also - my mum is English so I can blend in thanks to her! She's northern tho (Gaggia land) so I am a northerner through n through. If I'm pissed though apparently I'm hard to understand in the south as the scots comes out more!

I know honey and I think those first 12 weeks are extra hard if you've had MC before so I do totally understand. We will be here to support you through it. I remember reaching my previously MC point and it was terrifying. But wonderful to get to that 12 week scan at last!

MiniLa movements have changed slightly - much less active as I think he's run out of room. But I'm still monitoring his movements and they are regular.

I've got a question for the scots on here (indigo, wil, can't remember who else?)

We've picked a first name starting with B and out surname starts with W. We are really struggling with middle names. All the ones we like start with A! I've told dh there's no way we can choose those names because initials would then be BAW and baby will always be 'bawbag' at school! Dh thinks I'm overthinking it.

Verdict?

Cymraes17 · 20/06/2015 08:25

Dulcet, I dont think Im witty enough to create a title for next thread.

Ive lost my humorous side in the last week, as my Mam and DH will tell you.
Would anyone else mind doing it?

LaLaLaaaa · 20/06/2015 08:34

I nominate dulcet or Fleur!

honeysucklejasmine · 20/06/2015 08:37

La if I get to tomorrow morning then I am as far as I have ever got. Smile No reason to think I won't, I know. Grin

So... When I was in Rome, my friend and I were waiting to cross a road. It was a zebra crossing, but they don't have to stop and it was a dual carriageway.

This bloke had got off at the same stop and was also waiting. He turned to friend and I and said... something! We looked at each other, confused, then I said "I'm sorry, we only speak English" feeling embarrassed that we didn't know any Italian. This bloke burst in to hysterical laughter and said "I'm Scottish!" Blush

He'd actually said "this may take a while, eh?" Regarding the road. But such a thick Glasgow accent! We were mortified but ended up travelling together for a bit and got together when we were back in the UK too. He was in a band, so went to their gig in London.

ChatEnOeuf · 20/06/2015 08:39

Honey I completely understand, the anxiety is ridiculous. Step away from the sticks and maybe book an early scan?

I'd take a London meet - only a couple of hours on the train from here.

jellypi3 · 20/06/2015 08:48

I'm 35 mins from London so suits me!! :)

8 weeks today!!

LaLaLaaaa · 20/06/2015 08:49

Hooray chat it would be lovely to see you!

I second the early scan - it was totally worth it the second time to let me know something was there this time

DulcetMoans · 20/06/2015 08:59

But it's not my turnnnnn! I checked the stats sheet - how am I 6th?! I was 11th last time I checked! If I can get on laptop soon then I will do it.

Sorry cym, you sound fed up! Baby will be here so soon though, so soon!

An early scan could help if you can do it honey but time it right. We do all get it, trying to help your own sanity though!

Congrats on 8 weeks jelly! How you feeling?

When will there be a good time for London meet without people being horrifically pregnant or with very new borns??

jellypi3 · 20/06/2015 09:05

I feel fine dulcet. Mostly relived to get to 8 weeks. Next stage is 12 weeks which doesn't seem so far now :)

gaggiagirl · 20/06/2015 09:09

honey I work for the NHS and no they cant do that. I think they are worried about my waters going......in the hospital....where I work......where I'm giving birth anyway. Fuck em, I'm working til the 5th and they cant do a thing about it.
They seem so sure that the midwife wont let me be pregnant til October because of my VAST size. I'm sure they are talking out of their arses Grin

gaggiagirl · 20/06/2015 09:10

I wanna see that fanjo mole though toast

WilHarlot · 20/06/2015 09:19

It's hard La, you so rarely use middle names but it is something kids end up discussing at school at some point. It could either be totally overlooked or picked up on and stick with him. Although where would you end up living? Do many young kids use that expression Edinburgh way? I'd say it would be more of a risk in Glasgow.

Not going to lie, probably won't make a London meet. But if you post lots of selfies on fb I'll feel like I'm there!

That's funny about the other group - as if all you have to do in your day is post on fb. We still love ya Dulcet Wink .

Lookingforadvice123 · 20/06/2015 09:19

Congrats fattycow! A girl how lush Star

Wow jelly didn't realise you were so far along, congrats on the 8 weeks mark! I bet it will go quick for you from here, it did for me from 8 weeks, I'm 12 weeks Monday!

cymraes so sorry you're fed up Flowers

LaLaLaaaa · 20/06/2015 09:24

Um...dulcet you're not 6th, you're 4th?

Cym
Wiggly - who doesn't post on here often
RM - who may be lurking? RM?
Then you!

So actually in terms of those who regularly post (and taking out cym because she doesn't want to do next thread) it's you!

Grin

Hee Hee!

LaLaLaaaa · 20/06/2015 09:24

Wil it's more used in Glasgow but definitely a thing in Edinburgh also. I think it's risky...
