Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 30th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 48th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: Stats

Congratulations La! Grin Good news!

Thanks for MS cure advice. I had buckets of peppermint tea leaves, so hopefully that'll be a winner for me. I hate feeling nauseous... I'd much prefer to vomit and get it over with!

Do you know, I am still so enjoying this "no period" lark! Fantastic!

honeysucklejasmine · 18/06/2015 11:22

*have buckets.

DSis' SIL runs a loose leaf tea company, so I often ask for top ups for birthdays etc. Have 18 (!) different loose leaf tea in the cupboard! Blush

Cymraes17 · 18/06/2015 11:34

News from the Cym house, Ive lost my plug, at least I think I have. A really massive glob of goo, no blood. (TMI?)
People at tumble tots thought I was nuts being there @ 5 days overdue.
Bat, dont let her annoy you, It will bite her on the arse when she's pg.
with MS eating little and often helped me, crackers and salt and vinager chipsticks were most useful!

honeysucklejasmine · 18/06/2015 12:26

Yay Cym! waves pom poms It's only TMI if there's a picture, but I think most people are sporners anyway!

honeysucklejasmine · 18/06/2015 12:28

So, just sorted out my books
Have about 150 to get rid of! Blush Anyone know anywhere awesome to take them, or just local charity shops?

Cymraes17 · 18/06/2015 13:19

www.webuybooks.co.uk/recycle-books/
I think local libraries use this company to get rid of books.
You could use cash to buy things for baby?

batfish · 18/06/2015 14:35

I'm going to have the opposite problem where I am gaining books! After leaving the UK 6 years ago we finally decided we should ship out all the crap we left behind when we thought we were only leaving for a year or 2. And there are loads of books in there amongst other things - I know there are definitely some nice kids books though so thought we could start a little book corner in the baby's room Smile

gaggiagirl · 18/06/2015 14:44

Ooh cym that's so exciting!!! I would look at a picture of your plug!

rm00054 · 18/06/2015 15:19

I'm so taking a picture of my plug when it comes out. and my placenta. just so I can gross people out Grin

rm00054 · 18/06/2015 15:26

Had a Midwife appointment this afternoon, now I'm feeling depressed. Baby is only 3/5 engaged, which is less than it's been previously! She seemed to think I wasn't anywhere near going into labour Sad I know I'm gonna go overdue and I've been pretty chilled but the ONLY thing I don't want throughout the whole of pregnancy/labour is to be induced Sad Sad

Can I ask for a cs rather than to be induced or do I need better reasons to get a cs on nhs? I'm gonna refuse induction anyway so looks like I've got at least 3 more weeks to go. You July ladies will overtake me at this rate!

Fleurchamp · 18/06/2015 15:32

I am curious about the plug.

I unknowingly held my sister's plug in a piece of tissue. Still slightly freaked out about this.

Baby shower over. I am on a cake high and have loads of presents Grin my colleagues have been so nice to me, I feel bad for moaning about them now!

Hobbit19 · 18/06/2015 16:47

Fleur, what?! How did that even happen?!

Bat, that woman sounds like an idiot!

RM, sorry that your baby is mis-behaving!

honeysucklejasmine · 18/06/2015 16:58

RM that sucks! Come on, MiniRM, get to it, sharpish!

Ok, so just had a massive energy dip. I am now eating a magnum (own brand version cause I'm too poor for real ones) and feeling better. Must go and get some boiled sweets or something for future use.

A student of mine was diabetic and would munch on lucozade tablets. Hmm, perhaps...

Indigoblue2 · 18/06/2015 17:20

rm my friend refused induction and they offered to monitor her daily. This is the route I will go down if I go past my "due date".

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 18/06/2015 17:21

RM don't despair. I thought I was headed for induction with this one when I went overdue - DS1 had the courtesy to arrive at 39 weeks so I was a bit worried when it didn't happen this time around.

I downloaded a hypnobbirthing track from the Mindful Mamma website designed to encourage spontaneous labour. No idea if it actually worked but listening to it everyday kept me calm and made me feel like I was doing something. Not sure if that appeals to you but for what it cost - £7.99 - it might be worth a try.

Lookingforadvice123 · 18/06/2015 17:35

cym good luck!!!! Puuuuush.

honey I agree with eating little and often, I've had to graze constantly through the nausea. The only constant solution for me is ready salted crisps, I've found that I'll fancy something then go off it really quickly, eg I bought a multipack of salt and vinegar chipsticks, had 2 packs and now I can't stomach them! Ginger biscuits are good but leave a horrible taste in your mouth.

Under no circumstances try MARMITE CHOCOLATE! Had a square in work today and now trying not to vom.

Mild crampy feelings at 11+3, normal?? Hope so Sad

jellypi3 · 18/06/2015 17:46

Aww bad baby rm! Get your stuff together!

I've still got some of my childhood books I'll be using in baby's room!

LaLaLaaaa · 18/06/2015 18:17

Plug pic! Plug pic!

Good luck cym!

Mw was good - birth plan approved and baby is 3/5 engaged, measuring 37 cm (I'm 36+2)

RM there's still time! RLT drinking and sex!

Purpleball · 18/06/2015 18:28

Good luck Cym, hopefully not much longer now
RM hope your baby behaves better and appears soon

Sparkling water helped with nausea. I'm drinking tons of it at the moment.

Jelly I know a couple of people who've had babies at 24 weeks so I was irrationally worried that it would happen whilst I was in Northern Ireland. I'm in the departure lounge now so should be ok Wink

Purplebaby has discovered my bladder and is playing footy with it, it feels very odd.
I had a weird sensation earlier where my bump kinda throbbed repeatedly for a few seconds - could it be BH? Or hiccups?

jellypi3 · 18/06/2015 18:40

Blimey 24 weeks is super early! Isn't that the earliest you are "viable"?

My house is a tip and I haven't the energy to clean it! Slob.

Hobbit19 · 18/06/2015 18:43

Looking crampy feelings are always normal I think! Mine did come back towards the end of the first tri, but not as bad as they were early on.

Honey, good work on the magnums, they make me feel sick! hangs head in shame and exiles self from JSing fred Confused

jellypi3 · 18/06/2015 18:55

I don't really like magnums either pud. I'm more a fruit lolly person. Or those milk lollies you used to get as kids. Those I could devour.

Fleurchamp · 18/06/2015 19:03

pud it's a bit of a long story but my sis had problems in her pregnancy and I happened to be staying with her the night her waters broke. The plug was a funny colour and so the mw asked her to bring it in. She wrapped it up in kitchen roll and handed it to me to hold in the car.

I only found out some time later Blush

I went to the shop for salad to go with my dinner but returned with chips from the chip shop Confused not sure how that happened Grin

rm00054 · 18/06/2015 19:29

Thanks for the reassurance everyone. I'll properly get on the rlt and ball bouncing.
Thanks for the link Before I'm doing hypnobirthing anyway so might give that a try Smile

I'm the same La 3/5ths and measuring 37cm. I'll race you Wink
