Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 30th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 48th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: Stats

Oh I like this topic

Things I love about being pregnant:
Seeing baby at scans
Feeling baby move
Being fat for a reason
DH looking after me, although he does that anyway
My skin being in better condition than ever
Less body hair
Baby shopping
Random strangers helping me with bags
People being genuinely interested
Generosity of friends and family

Things I hate about being pregnant
Morning sickness which has all but gone
Jeremy Kyles
Not being able to drink wine
Worrying about birth and how I'll cope with a baby
Not looking forward to being huge in the heat of summer

All in all I like being pregnant and the negatives have been minor for me. I'm sure it will all be worth it

Purpleball · 16/06/2015 21:52

Ive turned one of those baths down, and a normal one too as I've been told to put 2 inches of water in the normal bath and lie the baby down. No need to hold a wet slippery baby. Just need a bath mat or sponge type thing from mothercare

DulcetMoans · 16/06/2015 21:53

Glad the service went well chat. I can imagine it's bittersweet but hopefully it will help you and your family. Are you back in the UK for long?

ga, if you want a scare story for your little ginger next time she is in the duvet cover that exactly how I have a scar on my bottom lip - playing ghosts though. Banged head on bannister, put tooth through lip. Scarred for life!

That sounds tough bat - not even water!? We have a guy based in Jordan at work who has come over week - wonder if that's part of the reason why as he's not fasting for sure!

Bumped is so hard, like concrete! Concrete baby?

LaLaLaaaa · 16/06/2015 22:01

dulcet - poo baby?

honeysucklejasmine · 16/06/2015 22:03

Jelly, JC it does feel like it's getting more real!

The best thing about being pregnant is not getting my period! I am going to miss out on a total of 40 days of agony during the pregnancy, and then hopefully another 48 during bfing! Fucking ACE!!

The other good thing is that I will get LOADS of hand me downs from friends (there are about 15 bin liners of baby clothes floating around, that just get passed between mums constantly) so hopefully won't need to buy much in the way of clothes or noses baskets etc.

Also, that now I am pregnant I can spend the whole summer sewing burping clothes etc without feeling like a fucking loser.

DulcetMoans · 16/06/2015 22:08

Poo baby at the top? I hope not!

No period is a big positive honey! My intention to make stuff didn't match the reality though so hope you are more successful than me!

honeysucklejasmine · 16/06/2015 22:10

X-post

Chat glad everything went well. Smile

We have a butler sink, so will be bathing baby in that. I can't do bending really, not excessively so, so will prefer to stand at sink.

honeysucklejasmine · 16/06/2015 22:12

Dulcet you made those bibs, right? Luckily (?) I only work term time so will have plenty of time to sew.

jellypi3 · 16/06/2015 22:26

chat I'm glad sam's service went well. I can't imagine how hard it was for you and your family x big hugs

la at the moment I'm struggling to eat anything good (except pears and satsuma's, those I'm eating by the barrel load). I hope soon I get my Motivation back and start eating spinach and broccoli again.

I'm a bit down today, no idea why. Snapped and DP and the cats. In the shower my belly was all bloated, think it's constipation, and I just feel like crying (cried 3 times at OITNB). I guess this is hormones?

Fleurchamp · 16/06/2015 22:39

Glad it all went well chat I have a big brother like Sam who is very much part of our family and would have been 40 this year. I could even end up having my baby on his birthday which would be weird!

Liking all your lists, for me the positives of pregnancy:

I love having a capsule wardrobe - no one expects a fashion statement and I can get away with wearing the same thing over and over again.
Not expected to carry / lift things.
DH cooks. Virtually every night.
My skin has been amazing.
Ditto for hair.
I have been in a consistently good mood- no pmt!!
Dare I say it - not drinking. I am very sociable and it has been so refreshing to go out and not be expected to drink. No hangovers/ morning after panic that I have said or done something bad.
People talk to me. I live in london so this is a rarity. The people in the coffee shop speak to me all the time now, I have been going to the same
place for four years....

honeysucklejasmine · 16/06/2015 22:40

I'm watching the last OITNB now. Have binged the last few days.

Hmm, just collected all my fabric together... Not including plain white etc. Think I may have enough...

Purpleball · 16/06/2015 22:42

I'm probably going to get another mirena coil I think. I'm loving no periods, oh and bigger boobs

Mood swings are a negative though. I snap or cry for no reason, fortunately not too often

gaggiagirl · 16/06/2015 22:44

dulcet I will tell her that tale of woe! That's what you get playing ghosts! Also I'm going to predict you will pop before your due date. This is based on no scientific evidence apart from the fact your bump has dropped Grin

DulcetMoans · 16/06/2015 22:45

I did honey, and two cot tidies but planned to make more. Saw some fabric in the shop last week that I wanted by DH wouldn't let me unless I had a plan for it and just can't think what I am using it for! The amount of things in my Pinterest, I should have made more.

Hormones jelly, they are buggers! There isn't always an answer to why you cry or feel down. You just do.

DulcetMoans · 16/06/2015 22:47

Ooooohhhhh spooky ga! I am thinking early too. Hopefully not before Friday though. Hoping for at least 38 weeks so I can get my shit together!

LaLaLaaaa · 16/06/2015 22:48

How to scare children into behaving, by dulcet Grin

I like people talking to me too - strangers seem to want to know an awful lot about me!

I do have to remind myself not everyone's like you lot and I don't need to tell folk at work that I've got swamp fanjo and my boobs are like grapefruits

honeysucklejasmine · 16/06/2015 23:55

Jelly have you seen all of OITNB S3?

LaLaLaaaa · 17/06/2015 03:11

I am on episode 7

PixieChops · 17/06/2015 06:36

Morning viroids, not had chance to go through all the messages as I've been busy re last couple of days preparing myself for this c section! I'm awake already and the taxi is coming for me at 7:15am! Wish me luck, I'm shitting myself! I'll make sure I post a pic up as soon as I'm able and I'll check in with you all later xx

LaLaLaaaa · 17/06/2015 06:38

Hobbit19 · 17/06/2015 06:48

Ooh good luck Pixie, you will be able to cuddle your baby soon so exciting!!

(Waves at Tee) hope you are doing okay my dear and enjoying your little one!

Hobbit19 · 17/06/2015 06:59

Viroids I keep getting little stabby pains in my bump (in various places), it has been happening for a few days now. This is normal.... right?

LaLaLaaaa · 17/06/2015 07:01

Yes pud - growing pains, just your uterus stretching to make room for baby to grow.

DulcetMoans · 17/06/2015 07:06

I thought it was tomorrow too! Good luck pixie, can't wait to see a photo!

Is it pain pud or just uncomfortable? Probably just growing, that's all kinds of uncomfortable!

batfish · 17/06/2015 07:16

Good luck pixie how exciting! Keeping everything crossed for you, can't wait for pics.
