Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 30th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 48th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: Stats

JC - rest! That's what you should do Grin

gaggiagirl · 16/06/2015 18:25

Eek a ginger baby! Ooh I love a ginger baby. The force will be strong in that one la. Who does she get the ginger from? My ginger couldn't find the opening of the quilt cover, neither could I. Also she was playing elephants!
Baby cym where are you?
candy I'm really pleased for you getting signed off, you need the rest.

LaLaLaaaa · 16/06/2015 18:29

Strong is the ginger force in our family! I was born ginger, my bros beard is ginger and sil is ginger. Dhs sis is proper ginge.

I think we are having a ginger baby!

LaLaLaaaa · 16/06/2015 18:30

My ginge went blonde after a few weeks

jellypi3 · 16/06/2015 18:36

Aww ginger babies are cute! I love fiery red hair. DP is brown/blonde with blue eyes and I'm half Turkish so my dark Mediterranean genes will kill his blonde hair/blue eyes!

Hobbit19 · 16/06/2015 18:51

JC, put your feet up my dear.

Jelly, first tri is pretty rubbish TBF. But, you do get to have a secret with DH and have scans (yey!) And eventually tell people. But mostly you just worry!!! It will go faster than you think though I am 13 + 3 and sporting an ickle tiny bump which I stick out when I am at home ha ha so you may not have too long to wait!

Purpleball · 16/06/2015 18:51

Jelly you will probably lose weight early on anyway if you don't overeat. I'm just eating healthily and I've not gained any and I'm 26 weeks now OMFG where did the time go

Chat, been thinking of you and family today. Hope you're ok lovely Thanks

Jelly I completely get where you're coming from. I've sat in so many meetings trying not to heave while people eat smelly biscuits! Boak!

Ginger babies are soo cute. Doubt mine will be one though. Both DH and I were blonde with blue eyes as babies. Both went dark brown later then fecking grey

Purpleball · 16/06/2015 18:51

La that sounds crap I need to find a BF class in that case

LaLaLaaaa · 16/06/2015 19:04

Purple they're all different from what I've heard! My friends went to same one I had today with diff teacher and said how great it was, so I think I just got a duff one!

rm00054 · 16/06/2015 19:09

I also hated first tri. The exhaustion and sickness were horrific. And all the other reasons mentioned. Second Tri wasn't much better, was still sick for half of it then after the 20 week scan it's just an endless expanse of nothing. Now in the final trimester when everything is uncomfortable, and various bits of body fail (leaky boobs and bladder) but at least I have imminent baby to look forward to!
All in all, I really have not enjoyed one bit of pregnancy!

Can not wait to finally have this baby!

Lookingforadvice123 · 16/06/2015 19:37

jelly Flowers it's pants I completely agree. I'm so grateful to be pregnant but so far I've hated it. But you will get through it and having early scans like you are will break it, promise. When's your next scan?

gaggiagirl · 16/06/2015 19:46

The things I've enjoyed about pregnancy are:
People carry stuff for you.
People are extra nice to you in shops.
You get to eat nice stuff guilt free.
Leggings are comfy.
Pissing oneself is acceptable.
The end!

batfish · 16/06/2015 19:47

Yup jelly it's crap - we had to tell people due to being on ski hol with them but even though I had people who knew it almost made it worse as I was terrified to talk about it. And when we were in the UK in April and pram shopping I found myself trying to look like I had a bump as felt such a wally looking absolutely not pregnant and shopping for prams! Then you get a bit fat so you don't fit in your trousers but still not a bump. It is definitely much nicer being legitimately pregnant! But then I am lucky that I have felt well all the way through, I'm sure others don't enjoy second trimester either.

la I have given my belly the odd shove when wanting to get a kick! Mr bat gets very upset with me though as is convinced I'm harming the baby - I was messing about the other day and slapping my belly like I was playing the drums and he didn't like that at all!

Mr bat has been approached by a friend to help him with some work which is good - gets some cash in a lot sooner than I expected so this unemployment lark could work out quite profitable seeing as he is still being paid from his old job until beginning of August! Good bloody job as well seeing as we bought one of everything in ikea last night - sorted tons for babies room though, can't wait to get it all set up!

LaLaLaaaa · 16/06/2015 20:02

RM i'm the same! I always thought I'd be one of those people who loves being pregnant. I wouldn't say I hate it but I've definitely not enjoyed it very much, except for when I feel my little wiggler move and it makes it all worth it. I don't like being so huge and cumbersome, plus the not sleeping and feeling breathless and tired. I can deal with the hip pain, but I feel like an old woman when I can't breathe properly.

LaLaLaaaa · 16/06/2015 20:09

Oooh I like this game! Things I like about pregnancy:
DH making dinner every night and me being able to sit on couch meanwhile messaging you guys
Little baby clothes - squeee!
Seeing baby on screen at scan, baby doing somersaults and kicking me
Getting to eat Haribo and ice cream all. the. time. and no one says I shouldn't.
The relief of finally doing a really massive poo after thinking it was never going to come out
Not having to give a crap about whether my fanjo is shaved, coz I can't see it anyway
Getting to wear really comfy clothes, particularly huge clown trousers
Getting to walk around with no bra on - get yer baps oot.

Things I don't like about pregnancy:
Kale. Fucking kale for dinner, every night. Kale, kale, kale.
How much baby clothes cost. £12 for a fucking babygrow!?!?
Baby using bladder as punchbag/trampoline
That there is not an unlimited supply of Haribo and ice cream in my house, so sometimes I run out.
The pain of finally doing a really massive poo after thinking it was never going to come out.
Not being able to see my fanjo - I used to really like squeezing ingrown hairs - SPORN
Not being able to wear clothes that look nice, therefore resembling a clown
Baps leaking all over pyjama top when not wearing bra - bit minging.

jellypi3 · 16/06/2015 20:36

Why so much kale la

Hobbit19 · 16/06/2015 20:40

Ha ha ha La and Ga you both made me laugh with your posts. Good game!

Things I like:
Not having to breathe in all the time, I can just let it aaaaaaaall hang out.
Boobs! (I have some)
My baby bump
TINNED FRUIT fucking love the stuff, can't get enough of it, think they must put crack in it or something

Things I don't like:
Naps are no longer a treat but a daily necessity
Cooking a really nice tea and then being full after two mouthfuls - WTF?!
Errr, that's it! Grin

ChatEnOeuf · 16/06/2015 20:40

Thanks grads. Today was tough, I'm not going to lie. Beautiful service and perfect goodnight, but no one should have to go through it. Raising a glass to TinyChat tonight, one day I hope to tell someone about their much loved big brother.

Hobbit19 · 16/06/2015 20:42

All the love for you Chat and your family. Xxxx

ChatEnOeuf · 16/06/2015 20:46

Things I loved about pregnancy...
The boobs
The wriggles
The scans
The anticipation
And eating cake without guilt

Things I didn't enjoy so much...
All of the first trimester - nausea, anxiety and being expected to drink alcohol.
The dietary restrictions
That awkward period when your regular clothes don't fit but maternity wear looks daft or falls down.

deeplybaffled · 16/06/2015 20:47

chat - been thinking of you and hoping that today went as well as it could do. I think it is totally appropriate that you should have been the last one to tuck him in, and I hope it gave you some comfort that you were able to do that for him.

la - with you about the breathlessness thing. So frustrating. i used to run - not particularly well, but did a few 10ks - and now puffed out after 2 flights of stairs :(

Fattycow · 16/06/2015 20:56

Things I love:
the bump
the nice attention you get from people (like getting your drinks when it is a self-service party)
the feeling of never being alone
the new intensity of the bond with DH
all the teeny clothes and shoes
picking all the things for the baby
having a secret with DH (first that I'm pregnant, now the names we have for baby)
the anticipation of finding out whether it's a boy or girl (only 4.5 weeks tops for us before we know!)

Things I hate:
heartburn
the swelling of feet, ankles, legs and hands
gaining 4 stone
not fitting into my pretty dresses and shoes
not being able to eat all the things I like, as they could be bad for the baby
advice from people who think they know everything
the DH not wanting to shag as I'm looking too pregnant
spd...

LaLaLaaaa · 16/06/2015 21:18

Love you chat Flowers a hard day for you I know. I also hope you'll be able to tell someone someday about their big brother. He'll always be in your heart and your thoughts xxx

I like your one about the special bond with dh fatty, I second that one. I like it when he comes to talk to the baby, or puts his hand on the bump.

jelly kale is packed with iron and is good for you - dh is on a mission to make me into a big walking piece of kale.

I also love how nice people are about having a baby - people seem genuinely interested, either that or they can really act!
But I don't like the 'you're so huge!' comments. Those people can get tae fuck.

deeplybaffled · 16/06/2015 21:40

One other good thing is how amazingly generous people are, especially those who already have kids. We've been given so much stuff, both new and secondhand, and I had no expectation of it. It really does seem to bring out the nice side of people, and I'm hoping to do likewise in due course - although most of my friends have already done the kids thing, so i may have to inflict my desire to pass stuff on onto hapless strangers!

deeplybaffled · 16/06/2015 21:43

In fact - would anyone be interested in an over bath baby bath? I believe that they are great if you have had a csection so you don't have to bend over the edge of the bath to wash them. We were given it second hand, but sadly, it doesn't fit our corner bath :(
