Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 30th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 48th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: Stats

Chat, thinking of you today. Im glad you got to see him again.

La, congratulations on becoming an auntie!

Im still here 40+3. Geting rather painful in the pelvis, moving about in bed is not easy. Started being painful to walk about as well, so she is either head down in pelvis, or floating free after poping out again. I need her to come this week, its DD1 and DS s sports day next wendesday, and if she hasnt come i'll have to be induced next tuesday.
Hope everyone else os having a better day!

gaggiagirl · 16/06/2015 09:18

I'll be thinking of you and yours today chat

Congratulations on being aunty la!

gouda I'm so pleased babybel is doing well.

dulcet yeah Ill often tell dp I'm wet, he gets excited til I tell him I've wet myself of its mucus.

ZylaB · 16/06/2015 09:29

Thinking of you chat, tucking in should be done by mummy so it's definately not odd, it was just right xxx

batfish · 16/06/2015 09:38

gouda as I would be allowed to drink and eat due to pregnancy I suppose I wouldn't get arrested if I did.....but it definitely wouldn't be the done thing and I would feel very paranoid doing it. Nobody in the office would mind me drinking water but I don't want to be treated as a special case and would feel bad in front of those fasting. Lots of trips to the kitchen for water breaks I think! The worst is when you are out and about and it is pushing 50 degrees outside and you can't even have a drink of water in your car in case anyone sees! If we go to the mall I usually end up in a toilet cubicle swigging water, it's funny because I don't usually drink a lot of water but when I can't I feel like I'm going to die of thirst!

Fleurchamp · 16/06/2015 09:52

Hope all goes well today chat thinking of you lots.

bat I would be a crazy lady if I couldn't eat or drink in public. I lived in a shared house with a Muslim guy at uni. His 4am curries were legendary Smile

gaggiagirl · 16/06/2015 10:10

Can I call the fire brigade to get DD out of a king size quilt cover? I can see her but I can't find the opening and she doesn't want to get out. Scissors?

Lookingforadvice123 · 16/06/2015 10:17

bat I'm curious where are you based? How difficult when you're out and about!

Thinking of you chat, glad you got to tuck tinychat in Flowers

honey congratulations! I'm 11 weeks so I remember 4 weeks well, I virtually had no symptoms at all and felt pretty much like myself! Think I might have had slight sore boobs but I think mine are particularly sensitive as they've been sore pretty much all day every day, whereas I know it's normal for that to come and go. Other than that, nothing! I wasn't even more tired, stayed out on an all dayer (not drinking, what fun Hmm) from 12pm until 1am when I was 5 weeks. Nausea didn't kick in until 6+ weeks and even then it was very mild and sporadic at the beginning. You can relax Grin I agree that sensitive pg tests are a curse in a way, as a lot of women don't even know they're pregnant until much later. Whenever anyone tells me they didn't find out until 7 weeks, I'm always Envy as those early weeks really drag (sorry). I second booking an early scan though, had my first at 8+3 and time has gone so much quicker since!!!!

batfish · 16/06/2015 11:16

ga that sounds like a totally reasonable reason to call the fire brigade if you ask me! Hope you see her again soon Grin

looking I'm in Dubai. The rest of the country gets shorter working hours during ramadan but as I work in the financial centre which has its own laws (the same laws which allow me 3 months mat leave instead of the usual 6 weeks so I shouldn't really complain) we have to work full hours - my friends will all be finishing at 3 or 4pm for a month, boohoo!

mountaingirl01 · 16/06/2015 11:50

honey I didn't get any symptoms really til 13 weeks! Definitely push for an early scan if you can or pay for one.

la congratulations! It's lovely that your lo will have a cousin near in age, even if they are a long way away (gives them a good opportunity for gap years too!). I reckon the muffin is for learning hand expressing... our local sure start has a knitted tit that they are threatening to teach me on..

chat you and sam are definitely in all our hearts today xx

honeysucklejasmine · 16/06/2015 13:46

I am so reassured by the variety of experiences here. You ladies are the best.

Currently in waiting room ready for my appointment. Eek.

LaLaLaaaa · 16/06/2015 14:51

Good luck honey!

Bat I lived in Kenya for a bit and hit the time of fasting - can't remember what it was. We felt terrible because our chef still was instructed to cook for us when he was fasting :(

batfish · 16/06/2015 15:18

Aww poor guy la! Although the whole point of ramadan is about resisting temptation but here the temptation is totally taken away - it's really difficult to get food if you try! All cafes and restaurants are closed during the day other than the odd few that purchase a license to be allowed to open and they have to put up massive curtains or black out the windows so they can't be seen from outside. Apparently most other Muslim countries don't do this. Last year mr bat and I went shopping and we were starving (stupid lack of planning ahead) and all that was open in the mall was McDonald's but only for takeaway. So we had to buy it and sit in the car and barricade the windows with everything we could find so we couldn't be seen feeding our faces in the car park! Fun month ahead!

honeysucklejasmine · 16/06/2015 15:42

So, all fine. I saw the registrar instead. She thinks I shouldn't have any complications, but if I need a c section it might be harder to do due to the war zone that is my repeatedly cut open abdomen.

Apparently the midwife will do all other referrals, and I will need to be consultant led, because of my medical complications but also because of my BMI. Blush

My midwife friend recommends slimming world so will try to stick to it's principals (I used to do it).

gaggiagirl · 16/06/2015 15:45

My kid came out eventually. Shame because I quite fancied a play on a fire engine.

gaggiagirl · 16/06/2015 15:48

That's all good news honey Grin excellent!

Hobbit19 · 16/06/2015 16:34

Good news that your scar tissue shouldn't effect your pregnancy too much Honey.

La, what the chuff was the muffin all about?!

Chat, I think that is really lovely that you got to tuck your gorgeous boy in one last time. I have been thinking about you all day. Flowers

Fleurchamp · 16/06/2015 16:35

Ha gaggia my sister and I used to love playing in the duvet cover as kids Grin

Jcandy · 16/06/2015 16:47

I'm glad there shouldn't be any major complications honey Smile

My GP has signed me off for two weeks so I can have some time out. Now I just need to find motivation to actually do something with that time!

Fleurchamp · 16/06/2015 16:58

Glad you have some time off jcandy

Three more days at work aaaarrrrghhhhh!!! LOADS still to do.

Jcandy · 16/06/2015 17:40

You can only do what you can fleur! Your boss will just have to pick up the rest. It's her company after all. If it's important it will get done

jellypi3 · 16/06/2015 17:44

Yay honey glad your appointment went well :) does it feel more real yet?

jellypi3 · 16/06/2015 17:54

I've decided I don't like early pregnancy.

You can't tell anyone which is crap because you want to tell people.

You have shitty symptoms that affect your day to day activities but you still can't tell anyone.

You aren't pregnant enough to warrant shopping or getting excited just in case.

You just want to have a bump!

Don't get me wrong I love being upduffed, I just hate this stage of it! The waiting is so tedious. I saw a lady with a bump today and got jealous of her!!

Rant over

Fleurchamp · 16/06/2015 18:03

Agreed jelly it's strange time. Exciting, nerve wracking, secretive and, for some, vomit making.

Hopefully you get to enjoy the second trimester.

LaLaLaaaa · 16/06/2015 18:06

Big love to chat xxx

Jelly - yup! First tri is a beast Smile

Am lying in star shape on bed again. Baby is sticking his bum out at me.

Does anyone else jiggle their bump to get baby to move sometimes? I am bit worried I'm hurting him but mw said it was fine

Knackered. Had bf nhs class this morning. Muffin was for demonstrating position baby's head needs to be in to be able to latch on. But we didn't use them, we used cups of water with straws in the end. This made dh happy as he ate the muffin when he picked me up!

Hated the class. It was 2 hours and much less useful than the NCT one. Hardly any info, no info about other ways to hold baby to feed, just the one position holding up on arm - no mention of lying back to feed or anything. When I said to the teacher about it she said 'well you can do that but it would be hard to do in costa coffee!'

Eh?

I felt sorry for anyone considering ff as it was basically 'bf is right, ff is wrong'

My niece is a ginger! She has flaming red hair it's gorgeous!!

3 work days to go...

LaLaLaaaa · 16/06/2015 18:07

Gaggia how the heck did she get stuck in a duvet?!? That's hilarious!!

Minicym - come out!!!
