Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 30th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 48th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: Stats

Afternoon :) had the dildo cam scan. All well, baby is 6.5mm, saw the heartbeat flickering away which was amazing. Wasn't too uncomfortable either. So relieved.

LaLaLaaaa · 12/06/2015 12:40

I wouldn't worry fleur we can't agree either! We've got a first name but the middle name is a complete blank just now. Can't think of anything we like - or that goes with the first name.

Hoping it'll just come to me magically one day.

goodnessgraciousgouda · 12/06/2015 12:43

jelly - great news!! You must be super pleased!

RhiannonElward · 12/06/2015 12:50

congrats Jelly, lovely news :)

gaggiagirl · 12/06/2015 13:00

jelly and niff pictures please!

Fleurchamp · 12/06/2015 13:01

Lovely news jelly

jellypi3 · 12/06/2015 13:21

We didn't get a pic because their system wasn't working but they will give it to us at the next scan :)

Very chuffed indeed. It's so surreal seeing the heartbeat flicker thinking that's going like mad inside me! Next scan in 3 and half weeks, they do a 3D 10 week scan! It's amazing. I love this trial!

LaLaLaaaa · 12/06/2015 13:44

Lovely news Jelly!

Lookingforadvice123 · 12/06/2015 13:48

Great news jelly! As someone who's struggled during trimester 1 I can totally say that having early scans makes it much easier and it even goes quicker!

I'm not worried as such about not bonding with the baby as I feel like I am already after our scares! My worry is that I won't know what to do with it I have zero experience of babies! Any books I can get, an idiots guide maybe?

PixieChops · 12/06/2015 14:02

I don't think anyone knows what they are doing Looking when they first get a baby! It kind of just comes naturally- baby cries and it's either nappy, hungry or wind. You'll get to know the difference cries eventually. I've been a nursery nurse in the past and an change a nappy and give formula but that was about it. Nothing prepared me for the night shifts or when DD is ill. You just cope really and that's why it's so good to be involved with other mums who have newborns as you can bounce ideas off each other and get really good hints and tips Smile

PixieChops · 12/06/2015 14:03

Great news Jelly x so pleased for you Thanks

ChatEnOeuf · 12/06/2015 14:11

That's great news, Jelly, so pleased for you

LaLaLaaaa · 12/06/2015 14:24

You'll be fine looking, it's not rocket science and you'll work out what works for you and your baby as you go.

goodnessgraciousgouda · 12/06/2015 14:29

looking - I think most areas in the UK offer those pre natal classes where they go through the very basics like how to change a nappy, how to wind a baby, etc etc. That's probably your best port of call if you are starting from scratch! Cake

Jcandy · 12/06/2015 14:39

Excellent news jelly Smile

There's so many of you ready to pop in the next few weeks! It's gonna feel a bit empty in here without you all.

My migraine is on its way back Sad
Also made the decision to get referred to the mental health midwife after a massive breakdown at my cbt yesterday. Think I may still be depressed or its come back. Either way I need to try and deal with this before the baby is born as I really don't want it to affect my bonding. It still doesn't feel like the babies real to me so I can echo what a few of you have said about that!

Purpleball · 12/06/2015 15:03

That's great news Jelly Grin what a relief

JC I can totally relate to the anxiety. It's been a struggle not to let it take over and spoil the pregnancy. I have to keep having a word with myself as I swore I wouldn't go back on the meds. I'm mostly in control of it but if you're not then seeing the GP before it gets unmanageable is definitely a good idea

La I've played all sorts of music. My sisters theory is what you play while pregnant, the baby will find soothing when born but with her first it was Travis...not exactly ACDC lol but it might work Smile

LaLaLaaaa · 12/06/2015 15:19

My NCT classes have been fab for teaching us the basics about caring for baby - bathing, nappy changing etc...

Sorry you're feeling crappy JC :( xx

LaLaLaaaa · 12/06/2015 15:48

I just ate two cornettos in a row Blush

Hobbit19 · 12/06/2015 16:04

Good work La!

Jelly I am so so pleased for you!! Great stuff! I was a little worried that I didn't 'love' my bean instantly but it seems a bit odd that I would, I can't see it or feel it and I didn't really believe it was there until the scan! I getting rounder in the belly now though and that is making me feel more attached. I tried to convince DH last night that I was getting s bump and he replied 'no, you a just a bit of a porker'. How rude!! Shock

No better news about big cat I'm afraid so we ate having her put to sleep this eve. She has had parmasean for tea and is not curled up next to me having a wash so is quite happy for now but has no real quality of life so it is the kindest thing to do.

Purpleball · 12/06/2015 16:16

Oh that's a shame Pud. I know it's the kindest thing but it's so hard. I'm sure she enjoyed her Parmesan and won't know a thing about itThanks

mountaingirl01 · 12/06/2015 16:45

Oh pud I'm sorry :(

jelly I'm so pleased and excited for you! Awesome trial to give you all those scans!

jc I'm pleased your seeking out help x

We chat to the bump, but only in the same way as we chat to our cat our other daughter I think we've settled on a name now which helps a bit. Still feels v. Weird that the pokes I am feeling are my baby though!

Sunny up here in Scotland!

Fleurchamp · 12/06/2015 16:47

Sorry to hear that pud

WilHarlot · 12/06/2015 16:49

Sorry about your cat Pud, that's really sad Sad .

Also sorry you're feeling crap JC. During my first pg I felt really happy and positive but during this last one, felt really down and disconnected. It's funny how the hormones can affect you so differently. Good idea to get referred, hope it helps.

WilHarlot · 12/06/2015 16:50

Where are you Mountain?

mountaingirl01 · 12/06/2015 16:54

Visiting friends in Lanarkshire :)
