Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 29th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 47th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: stats

aggressive cheese Grin

Good to know I can take the guidelines with a pinch of salt. I'm one of those weirdos that can't deal with caffeine anyway so no change there, I'll carry on with the decaf.

I just stuffed my face with greek takeaway, mmm. I hope it stays down Confused

WilHarlot · 29/05/2015 20:21

Purple we're still in size 2 nappies four months on... You definitely won't have too many.

I got a papercut today from a cardboard box. That fucker hurts.

WilHarlot · 29/05/2015 20:21

Congratulations Pretzel

pretzelpieces · 29/05/2015 20:28

Thanks wil Smile

Purpleball · 29/05/2015 20:31

Thanks Wil

I've had 5 glasses of red wine since week 14, no more than once a week

I have 2 cups of tea with caffeine a day, the rest are decaf. I drink diet coke occasionally. I've had 3 cups of full caffeine coffee and I miss it

I've had Stilton a couple of times, Brie a couple of times, both since week 12.

I still eat shellfish. Rare steak is fine as long as the whole steak is sealed according to my midwife.

gaggiagirl · 29/05/2015 20:45

Congratulations and welcome pretzel
I eat everything....all the time.....except pâté. Its satan apparently. Beautiful delicious pate on tiger bread mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Toast85 · 29/05/2015 20:48

You lot with your aggressive cheeses! Mine are well pretty behaved. Parmesan is officially allowed anyway isn't it? It's only unpasteurised softer cheeses no? But the hard stuff is ok?

I also hit the aldi baby event and got a few bits and bobs- hooded towel, muslins, nappies, nappy bags, nappy rash cream, sudocreme, blankets x2 and a v shaped pillow. Not bad for £36!

Getting a bit fed up with people asking me if I can feel baby movements, everyone keeps asking me now.. I have an anterior placenta so I know I'm not likely to feel anything big until a bit later, and I do get little popping feelings a couple of times a day which I think are baby, but half the time I think could actually just be wind anyway, I just wish I could be sure! Seems like all the bus ladies are being booted regularly and their other halves are feeling them now too- I am no where near that and feel a bit down about it. I'm not worried exactly- mw said up to 24 weeks for regular movements so I have another 4 weeks until then, but it is starting to sit on my mind a bit :(
Sorry, I'll probably wish I hadn't moaned when baby is wedged under my ribs or punching my cervix in 3 months time or so, but I think I'm starting to feel a bit left out is all Hmm.

Fleurchamp · 29/05/2015 21:00

toast I have anterior placenta and did not get much in the way of movement until 24 weeks.

The bump is certainly making up for it now though!

Had a growth scan today, all looking good - big head though Shock and estimated current weight 4lb 12 which is slightly above average apparently and taken with a huge pinch of salt

Love the vicious cheese talk Grin I have broken a fair few food rules (mainly cheese related) but have avoided alcohol as I have amazingly not fancied it.

Sorry, I am waaaay behind with all the chat to even begin catching up.

DulcetMoans · 29/05/2015 21:57

Congrats on all the scans ga and purple!

Oh no before, forgot about the child are issue. Ok, maybe Sunday then for convenience. Although Sod's law may trump convenience.

What did you have tee? I would have said pizza. We also had a takeaway tonight - virtually unheard of in this house so DH very excited. Funnily enough though I cut myself on it too! Stupid little aluminium tin!

You'll get an extra scan at 32 weeks won't you toast? Doesn't make it less annoying to be asked though im sure.

I've been fine with the 'rules' as I'm not a proper grown up so don't eat all your posh cheeses or eat steak or drink really. The rules don't say anything about haribo and full fat coke so I'm fine! Wink

Exciting welsh cake related news everyone - they have flavours in the indoor market ones now. Coconut, lemon, choc chip and jam filled! I imagine still not as good as original but exciting!

ChatEnOeuf · 29/05/2015 22:15

That I did, Tee. In bits he was, before you could say Bolongese Grin

Toast85 · 29/05/2015 22:15

Don't know anything about an extra scan dulcet.. That would be exciting though.

Thanks, yeah I'll try not to worry/feel fed up. There's obviously a baby in there and a truck load of cake but still going on the fact it's mostly baby and I get my 20wk scan on Monday so that will cheer me up anyhoo.

Lovely to hear of more good scans today Smile.

DulcetMoans · 29/05/2015 22:48

I thought you get one at 32 weeks to check it has moved as it can get in the way for delivery and might alter birth options. Is that not anterior?

deeplybaffled · 29/05/2015 22:49

Don't worry, toast - I hadn't felt a damn thing by the time of the twenty week scan and didn't for a few weeks afterwards either, and mine is a posterior placenta. It got to about 22 weeks, i think, before i was sure i could feel something that wasn't wind! And now, typing this at 26 weeks, it's apparently got the hiccups or is doing the flamenco or something. So you can just join me in the lazy offspring club.

saw m/w today and she thinks dizziness is just low blood pressure so will just have to get used to it. According to a doctor friend of mine, flight socks /ted stockings might help....but could look a bit odd with work dresses?
Heard the heart beat again - am thinking it sounded more like a train than a horse, so guessing team blue, if the old wives tale is true, but quite frankly, i have no idea....

Pisghetti · 29/05/2015 23:36

An anterior placenta is at the front - it's a low placenta (praevia sp?) which needs rechecking.

Dulcet doesn't sound like a proper Welsh cake sniff Trust that there Cardiff to gild a perfectly good lily. I'm in cardiff tonight by the way waves madly at Dulce I grew DS on diet coke and haribo and he turned out ok (during the pregnancy I mean - I didn't feed him that as a baby)

gaggiagirl · 30/05/2015 00:54

Ooh toast and fleur I'm team anterior too! BitchCowMiseryMoo sonographer wrote it in my notes. Telling me with actual words might have cracked her face or something Grin

PixieChops · 30/05/2015 05:27

God knows where my placenta is I've not even checked. It is placenta previa where you have to be checked to see if it's moved. Basically means the placenta is covering the cervix.

With regards to food I've eaten what I've wanted. All my steaks have been medium rare, I've eaten pate, had dippy eggs- pretty much anything in not supposed to have I've had. My reckoning is as long as you're eating something and everything in moderation I can't really see what the problem is. First time round when I was pregnant with DD I stuck to the food guidelines like they were the 10 bloody commandments (more like 150 commandments- sooooo much food you shouldn't eat!) anyway after being pregnant for 2 years with a 3 month break I thought fuck it. I am quite literally the elephant woman Grin

batfish · 30/05/2015 06:57

omg viroids my life has been transformed - I bought a massive preggo pillow yesterday, comfiest thing ever. I think it's going on my list of things I am definitely not giving up after pregnancy along with maternity trousers Grin And as I am unfortunately a bit of a snorer and it wouldn't let me roll onto my back it also meant I didn't snore so hubby loves it too!

Don't worry toast - this week at over 21 weeks I have started to feel things from outside but up to Monday I had hardly felt anything at all even inside and also had everyone asking me if I could feel anything - MIL was asking me from about 14 weeks! It's horrid to have to keep saying no not yet and it does make you worry. The October bus was making me panic as some of them seem to have been feeling loads for weeks and I am one of the furthest along in the group! You'll be fine and will start feeling things in the next few weeks am sure Smile

teejayem · 30/05/2015 07:00

We had dominoes dulce. Not had it in forever, but had a 50% voucher, it's actually really expensive without!! Esp since it took me till 2am to partially digest it Hmm

I am also anterior! Mine was low for a while, but had moved by 30 weeks... I didn't feel much going on - fluttering at 18-20 weeks but pokey pokey movements were later.

It's car service day! Grin Mr tee was telling the bump 'no funny business' last night. You could see panic in the man's eyes! Looks nice outside so might get him to escort me for a gentle waddle drag later and then sit in the sun, my legs are like sticks of chalk!

batfish · 30/05/2015 07:05

jelly shellfish is OK as far as I know? I've been eating it much to hubby's horror who doesn't believe I'm allowed and also tries to stop me eating nuts but I guess some people like to avoid it anyway as it has a slightly higher than usual risk of food poisoning for anyone. I hate pate so don't mind not having that - also don't like runny eggs. Medium steak is very tough to give up though, I once ordered one well done AKA fucking ruined and it came medium and I couldn't bear to send it back so I ate it, oops! I apparently have no immunity to toxoplasmosis so maybe I should be more careful but I'm not too worried. I've also had a little bit of lovely blue cheese and homemade mayo. Each to their own though, I know some people like to be really really careful but I'm just too greedy.

chat that did make me laugh about the dangerous parmesan, who'd have thought!!

batfish · 30/05/2015 07:05

Ooh tee good luck for car service day, keep those legs crossed and no bouncing on the birthing ball Shock

DulcetMoans · 30/05/2015 07:25

Oh I know pis, Cardiff isn't real Wales! Wink But driving to Y Popty in Aber would have been too much. Although I could have got a nice pasty too... Hope you aren't going for one direction concert pis! (Think that was next week actually!)

I thought car service day was yesterday and you were safe now tee. Uh oh! It does look nice out but are you sure you should leave the house?! It's going to be a tense day!

Glad the pillow made a difference bat, do you feel refreshed? I'm also not giving up mat jeans - ever!

Low blood pressure in pregnancy does suck sometimes deeply but once you remember it, it gets easier. Taking extra time getting up and down, sitting and having a drinking when you feel dizzy. I would like to see the dress and flight sock combo if it comes to that!

Arse news flash (no flashing, just news) - arse rain. Hmm

batfish · 30/05/2015 07:30

Boooo for arse rain dulcet hope it passes soon!

Yeah I feel great after a night with my new bed buddy the bump nest - being spooned from front and back, what's not to love?! I haven't been sleeping badly but haven't been the most comfortable as usually sleep on my stomach but then end up on my back but the pillow meant I could be comfortably on my side and stay there. I wasn't going to get one but thought I would give it a go and I wish I'd done it weeks ago. Sod that - years ago! Grin

ChatEnOeuf · 30/05/2015 07:45

News from my arse...first post birth poo: not too bad; world did not fall out of foof.

Hope the car service goes ok Tee. DH and DFiL picked our car up from it's service while I was in early labour with DD. He was convinced my waters would go all over his newly-hoovered interior - priorities!

jellypi3 · 30/05/2015 08:02

Morning viroids, dulc sorry to hear about the arse rain. Can I have some please, my arse is apparently preparing me for child birth by storing the worlds largest shyte.

chat lol at getting a paper cut from parmesan! I'm not a lover of it so rarely have it on food (much to the horror of my italian colleague when we go out for lunch)

bat i think i'm just being overly cautious these first few weeks. I did have to be extra vigilant when i went for a client lunch last week, I turned down prawns, sea food pie AND white wine, i'm sure i got some raised eyebrows (i'm known for my seafood obsession). I may ease up after 12 weeks (if DP stops being a pregnancy nazi)

I had a shocking nights sleep, woke up and my tits literally felt like they were falling off. I went to bed a little concerned they weren't as painful as usual, well they showed me they can be worse. I'm also terribly gassy but I think that's the mega poo.

Anyone doing anything nice for the weekend (except tee, before and cym who are obviously all having babies this weekend)

Hobbit19 · 30/05/2015 08:21

Jelly my boobs are always worst first thing (I think they must grow in the night?)

Foodwise I shall be having small glasses of vino on occasion after about 14 weeks. I love the reasoning behind the no alcohol: There is no evidence to show that drinking small amounts (1-2 units a week) causes harm to the baby, but there is no evidence that it does not, so don't do it! I imagine that there is no evidence that doing the hoovering 'does not' cause harm either but no one is suggesting that I give that up for 6 months! Grin

Before, Cym and Tee good luck with squeezing out the babies soon and Jelly good luck with squeezing out the poo baby
