valancy I am also sleeping for Britan. The cat and I are havingacompetition. I don't know how I'm going to cope next week either! Sleeping about 14 hours in every 24 currently!

Blackandwhitecat3 · 25/05/2015 21:01

And welcome cotton!

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 25/05/2015 21:06

I've been pretty tired again today with really sore boobs. Felt quite rough with nausea but not been sick. Really hoping this is the worst of it, I hate being sick but I can cope with the nausea!

First midwife appointment is next Monday morning!

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 25/05/2015 21:08

B&W I think I've almost as tired as the cat. Plus for several days now she's been quite clingy and attached to me, loving all the cuddles more than usual! Does the psychic cat know I'm upduffed?

Mummyofonesofar · 25/05/2015 21:15

Thank you all for your thoughts and kind words. I wish you all the luck in the world with your pregnancies xxx

Blackandwhitecat3 · 25/05/2015 21:24

Maybe my cat's been very cuddly too, I wonder whether she knows...or whether she was just pleased to find a fleecy blanket over me as I laid on the sofa!

OTheHugeManatee · 25/05/2015 21:32

Another one with a cat on me on the sofa! I think they know Smile

Blimeygirl · 25/05/2015 21:38

Valancy you must be really close to me as you have exactly the same dilemma hospital wise as me! I can either have Jimmys or LGI or Harrogate! I went with LGI in the end on the just in case with the specialist baby care. What a small world!

OrangeBeehive · 25/05/2015 21:57

Blimey Valancy think we must be close to eachother as my choices are also LGI and Jimmys...Grin

Blimeygirl · 25/05/2015 22:09

Wow really small world then Orange! Which have you gone with? LGI or Jimmys?

Sorry to those of you who have had bad news Flowers
Welcome new ones
I'm due 11th Jan but GP put me at 13th Jan so going to wait for scan.
Yes if your DP/H has a complicated medical back ground it might be worth taking them.
Those of you who have appointments soon all the best, and let us know what colour your notes are Smile
Here is somthing I liked looking at last time, but I did stoped looking after pineapple, as giving birth to a spiky pineapple sounds very painful indeed, hehehe Grin www.babycenter.com/slideshow-baby-size

I have a blueberry Smile

OrangeBeehive · 25/05/2015 22:32

Blimey going with LGI, it's our nearest (just) and a few friends have given birth there and not had anything bad to say Smile

MissMartin1992 · 25/05/2015 23:38

it would be a funny shaped baby if it was the size of a small pumpkin at 40 weeks hehe! thats a cool link Grin

coffeenut · 26/05/2015 00:50

Hi miss! And oysterbabe! I recognise u from the conception threads too Smile.

Thinking of u mummy just caught up on the bumsnet grad thread xx

No need (in my opinion) for dps to be present at anything really (esp not booking in or other appointments, lots of waiting around for nothing much!) although it makes it more real for them I think if they can make it to scans. Also nice for handholding purposes.

oneconfusedchick · 26/05/2015 06:51

My EDD is 24th according to LMP but should be later according to when I ovulated (between CD 24 and 30)

CubanoHabana · 26/05/2015 07:02

Dh is coming with me to booking in but mainly because my brain is mush at the minute and I can't remember his family health details! Week be coming to scans but not other mw appointments. Also means he can toddler wrangle.

My cats are going nuts for me too and they did last pregnancy... I should have guessed I was pregnant just from that!

brickiemum2 · 26/05/2015 07:03

Not been on for a few days as I've been away camping with no internet access or phone signal. So sorry for your loss mummy
Welcome to all the new ladies Grin
I seem to have lost all of my preg symptoms Hmm boobs which have been sheer agony since 3dpo are fine. Don't feel sick at all (I was too nauseous to leave the house last week) It's only the tiredness I've still got. Trying not to panic that the slow heartbeat last Thursday was the start of something going wrong.
I'm also annoyed as I've come home to a letter that I have to go to an absence management meeting with my area manager. I was of because I had a bloody miscarriage and surgery, hardly something I had any control over. It's got me so wound up. Angry

Thanks for the welcome ladies- b&w yaaat edd twins! Let's hope it's confirmed when I have my scan! I have v regular 29 cycle and od usually day 15 so fingers crossed!

Thinking of everyone who has suffered a loss Flowers

Nausea had kicked in today- Also had a v. Vivid dream about baby last night- baby was born- little boy- and snow was thick on the ground! Remind me of this in jan if it snows haha xxx

mrschatty · 26/05/2015 08:17

*brickie so sorry to hear they want to have a meeting with you! We're they aware of the situation that surrounded your absence?? I'm sorry your having concerns around your symptoms when are you next seeing a mw xxx

coffeenut · 26/05/2015 08:27

grrr brickie that's crap! Hopefully it's just a formality they have to tick off? When do you have your next scan?

brickiemum2 · 26/05/2015 08:34

They were well aware it was mc, all my sick lines said so. My other period of absence that had caused this was an accident at work where I got burnt and then cellulitis/sepsis (only took 2 days off, refused the doctors line for a week)

Trying to chill out though because the stress will do me no good. My next scan is on Friday....at the exact same time as the meeting I've been called to Hmm Guess which one I will be going to Wink

OP posts:
parsnipbob · 26/05/2015 08:40

Brickie that's crap. It's probably just a formality though, I suffer from a long term condition that means I have to have a lot of time off work, and I have had to have a meeting like that. But it was totally fine.

coffeenut · 26/05/2015 08:44

do they think it's possibly work-related then brickie? Liability issues?
Good timing with the scan! ha!
