Hello to baby Magnus and baby Thomas! How exciting all these lovely new arrivals.

Leanne my tens went unused as did my bikini for my water birth - and I had to labour on my back due to monitoring with induction. None of that in my birth plan! You'll forget it all when you're holding your little girl in your arms though Smile saying that, fingers crossed she has a change of mind and turns if she is breech!

KittyVonCatsington · 15/05/2015 03:18

Come on Scottish_ you can do it! Grin

applecore0317 · 15/05/2015 04:18

Three Hope the sweep works.

leanne Sorry you've been told she is breech, fingers crossed she isn't or that she at least turns in time.

scottish good luck, hope things start happening soon!

As far as we know my NCT friend and baby are doing well, dug out the prem stuff that we bought just in case, so that they can use it.

Laying in bed at the moment with heartburn and forgot to buy rennies yesterday... also had bad back pain and period pain yesterday morning which then disappeared, worried I have a water infection again.

aberjen · 15/05/2015 04:47

Congrats feeling and kittiker (sorry if I've missed anyone else)

Posted already on fb but adding here too - DD2 arrived in a hurry on Weds (her due date) Smile. 3 h from waking with contractions to birth! 8 lb 11 oz, loves boob, no name yet.

Chookford · 15/05/2015 08:11

aber massive congrats on your daughters birth... And it was a speedy one!!!! Grin

longestlurkerever · 15/05/2015 08:58

longest Thank you :)

Congratulations aberjen such a quick birth how amazing!!!

leanne963 · 15/05/2015 13:11

Just had the scan! She is head down so all good, she is just a big wriggler. Midwife who did the scan was like 'is this your first?' And when I said yes she said 'oh could still be another 3 weeks then.....'

Hmm Thanks for that haha!!

Justyouwaitandsee · 15/05/2015 13:24

Ooh that is fab news leanne - so funny when we sometimes have a better idea of what our babies are up to than the midwives... Fingers crossed for that natural water birth!! SmileSmileSmile

Sunshinesaz86 · 15/05/2015 13:29

Ahhh that's such good news leanne and I do hope it won't be another 3 weeks for u!

Congrats abergen

Boo to the heartburn apple it's rubbish isn't it, hopefully we won't have to suffer much longer!

Good luck scottish keep us posted if u can.

Well me and dp are going to attempt a walk along the prom later, even with my SPD I need to get out of the house and see if I can get this baby moving and just for some fresh air to be honest! 40+1

leanne963 · 15/05/2015 13:40

just haha yeah! It is back to waiting and counting down the days again :)

sunshine I hope not too ha! Aw fresh air sounds good just hope your spd don't cause you too much pain x

Chookford · 15/05/2015 14:56

leanne that's great news, fx for your water birth now!

sun hope the walk helps... Hurry up baby we need some more good news! Wink

apple hope your heartburn eases off soon, it's really uncomfortable isn't it!

Scottish hope we have some good news from you too soon!

bradders85 · 15/05/2015 15:52

Heartburn sucks apple- bloody painful Angry

Watching this space Sunshine!!

Scottishgal78 · 16/05/2015 04:00

Hey all. Posted on fb but wanted to update here as I've just came on and seen all the good vibes you were sending me. Innes Morris McNaughton was born 15.5.15 (awesome dob) at 4.35am weighing 7lb and 1/2 oz! He is currently snuggled on my chest and I've never loved anything more! Will post birth story on post natal thread!

Good luck to all those still waiting. Leanne please to hear your LO isn't breech after all!

applecore0317 · 16/05/2015 07:56

Congrats Aberjan and Scottish :)

Great news Leanne, really pleased she isn't breach!

Hope the walk helped Sunshine

Everywhere I go this week I get strangers commenting, saying not long left, baby will come when baby is ready, to ignore the myths about eating spicy food, pineapple etc and in the same breath "oh it's a girl, women that have girls are always overdue", and oh it's you first, bound to go overdue... Thanks strangers who wouldn't have even smiled at me if I wasn't pregnant Hmm

KittyVonCatsington · 16/05/2015 07:59

Such wonderful news about Innes Scottish-you did brilliantly!! Star
I had the strangers comments too apple and I loved it Grin Thought I might as well enjoy the positive attention until it becomes negative with the noisy madam I seem to have produced!!!!!!

Scottishgal78 · 16/05/2015 09:15

Put my birth story on post natal thread for anyone that's interested. Might help those being induced!

Chookford · 16/05/2015 09:37

scottish massive congrats on the birth of Innes!!!

Chickenfillets · 16/05/2015 10:22

Congrats Scottish Grin

Iv woken up this morning and had my bloody show. Never been so happy to see something so disgusting in my life Grin maybe things will kick off before Monday so I can avoid being induced!
Best get bouncing on this ball!!

Sunshinesaz86 · 16/05/2015 11:06

Congrats scottish fab news!!

Ooh that's exciting chicken I do hope u go before the weekend is over.

apple sometimes you just don't need to hear every man and their dogs 'opinions' do u! I had the window cleaner ask yesterday oh how long left? 1 overdue actually, oh u don't look it, 'well I f*#k@ feel it!'

Well the wall along the prom didn't help yesterday evening it just made my back/SPD pain worse and had a crappy sleep. I do not usually moan but im starting to get so fed up and down not being able to just walk, drive, sleep, pop to shop. It's not fun anymore.

Hope everyone has a good weekend and I do hope we have some more babies arrive soon Grin

Chookford · 16/05/2015 11:42

Good luck chicken hope things kick off soon!

sun sorry to hear your still waiting, I remember the feeling well... I was so miserable those 8days I was late with my dd but remember it will soon be over you can't go much longer before your meet your baby, and it will all be so worth it!

leanne963 · 16/05/2015 12:03

Chook kitty scottish and apple i think I just have a wriggler on my hands so she was just in an awkward position when the midwife had a feel! I wanted to know how big she is likely to be but it was a midwife not sonographer that did the scan so couldn't tell me much!

Congrats scottish so happy for you :)

Oh apple the comments arghhhhhhhh please.....tell me how much longer I am going to have to wait.....I really want to hear that haha

Oooh exciting chicken fingers crossed things get moving swiftly! I just don't want my baby on the 22nd as that is my dad's bday and I wouldn't hear the end of it lol

Oh sunshine sorry the walk didn't help :( sounds like you are in lots of pain so I hope your LO arrives soon!! I'm struggling badly with sleep now :( hips aching on whatever side I am lying on...obviously nothing compared to what you are going through!

Chookford · 16/05/2015 12:23

leanne I'm the same its my dads bday on the 19th and my neices on the 20th so I'm hoping it arrives either side of those!! And my dd is the 6/6 with my induction booked for the 5/6 so many dates to try and avoid!!

applecore0317 · 16/05/2015 16:32

Lol Kitty, maybe I am just being a marry cow, but the comments are grating on me, family keep asking if anything is happening yet, will it be today etc, and it's getting on my last nerve...

Fingers crossed for you chicken!!

Sorry you're walk didn't help sunshine and that you are in pain.

Leanne even the scans aren't accurate, my friend had growth scans as was told 9lbs, he was 7 1/2lbs in the end

Chook hope yours arrives and avoids those dates

Thankfully no water infection, think it was just a sore back from being out and about for too long. The one ankle keeps swelling, and think I've figured out why, I slipped down the bottom of the stairs a few weeks back and twisted it a bit. The swelling started around that time and my foot is painful across the top. So I think I've injured it, going to book in for a physio next week.
