Meant ankle and foot swollen

Chookford · 16/05/2015 16:38

apple sorry to hear your foot is playing you up, hopefully it won't be too long before it's healing! I know what you mean about the comments if one more person says to me "any signs yet'" I may hurt them!!

leanne963 · 16/05/2015 17:12

chook yeah its like I shouldn't be fussy with what day she arrives.....but PLEASE don't arrive this day or this day or this day haha!!

apple oh really?! That's a shame but at least I don't feel like I have missed out now :) ouch sorry to hear about your ankle. Hope it gets better soon!!

Chookford · 16/05/2015 17:46

leanne they predicted my dd would be between 8.5-9lb from my growth scans she was 7lb 14 and 8 days late so I don't read too much into the weight estimates!

How exciting for u tori not long now, yeah SPD is definitley not fun at all but as u say hopefully it'll be gone soon.

Ouch on the foot apple as I've said previously I agree with u and chook about the messages and comments, I know ppl are only interested and care but it doesn't help when your getting fed up!

Thanks for all your sympathy too, I feel a bit better today having got out the house earlier. however I have just lost some of my dignity by wetting myself in front on dp due to laughing! Jeez!.....I have a feeling this is just the tip of the iceberg with labour round the corner tho Blush

Hi ladies, lol at the weeing & sample comments!

Im 39 +5 and share your (literal) pain & metaphorical about all the "helpful" comments, wearing thin.....

tori, think were almost twins, my boys was put 8.5lb at 38 wks and my birthday is wed!

Ive got consultant apt mon, hoping for a sweep but baby isnt even engaged, sigh.....

Gonna munch on more friggin pineapple to chase the curry away...

Were nearly there.

Chookford · 16/05/2015 21:06

tori best of luck tomorrow hope baby arrives in a timely fashion! And it isn't a gigantic bubba, sure it won't be as I say I don't hold much faith in their weight estimates.

ginger hope you have some movement soon too and you can have the sweep Monday, if nothing by then!

sun during pregnancy and labour... dignity is a thing of a past! Don't worry slowly it dos return! Wink

mumxof3x · 16/05/2015 21:39

Congrats scottish and aberjen.
Leanne glad baby is head down. I also think weight predictions are not too accurate, leo was estimated to be born around 7 and half pounds at 40 weeks, considering he was 1oz off 6ib at 34weeks I think he would have been reasonably more than 7 and half pounds at term. Can go either way I suppose.

Good luck chicken x

Chickenfillets · 17/05/2015 08:34

Since loosing my bloody show yesterday iv been constantly having bloody discharge Confused is this normal, bit of stringy mucus comes away too but always watery brownish discharge?

Snooky17 · 17/05/2015 08:51

Chicken I too had show yesterday, never had it before will any of my pregnancys, still getting more today mine is more bright red than brown and still a lot of mucusy stuff, baby is moving fine but nothing else seems to be happening how about you ?

Chickenfillets · 17/05/2015 09:09

Exactly the same as you. Everything feels normal just keep having bloody bits. Baby's very active, and having back pains but that's about it.

leanne963 · 17/05/2015 09:55

Ooh chicken and snooky sounds like things could be imminent!!! Absolutely no show or anything here, just lots more CM that normal and I swear baby is trying to evacuate through my belly button, DP gasped when he saw what looked like an elbow or arm sticking really high out of the centre of my bump ha

Good luck today tori :)

longestlurkerever · 17/05/2015 11:14

Good luck tori, chicken and snooky!

Good news leanne.

I feel terrible today. Have caught an awful cold and it's just about finished me off. Feel dizzy and sick and can barely breathe. Baby better not choose today to make an entrance!

Chookford · 17/05/2015 11:29

Good luck today tori

snooky and chicken sounds like things are happening! Hope it's not too long before babies make an appearance.

leanne snap with both the cm and belly button evac! I'm praying this baby shows up before next week... I've really had enough now!

longest sorry to hear you are suffering, hope it eases off soon and baby doesn't decide to show up whilst you feel like pants!

Sunshinesaz86 · 17/05/2015 11:43

Good luck tori had to laugh at your urine sample comment. Men aye? I hope all goes well keep us posted.

Sorry your feeling rotten longest make sure you keep rested.

Ouch on your wriggly little girl leanne I hope you start seeing some signs soon.

Ooh snooky and *chicken how exciting fit you both, I do hope it's the start for you. Fx.

Hope u had Leo are still doing well mum

Think me and dp are off for a Sunday lunch somewhere hope I don't have another accident Blush haha! Enjoy your Sunday ladies x

Snooky17 · 17/05/2015 11:56

longest hope your feeling better soon, colds are a pain in the ass when your pregnant can't bloody take anything good.
Not looking like anything is happening just extra cm now like everyone else, back hurts tho coz of all my bouncing on my ball it's fine when bouncing but when u get up ouch, should have bought a space hopper be way more fun to bounce around the house lol

Bazza2 · 17/05/2015 14:03

(Hope link works)

applecore0317 · 17/05/2015 14:26

chicken and snook mine was red at first, then I had brown for a few days, fingers crossed for you both.

Lol sunshine, sorry it made me chuckle, pregnancy is so glamorous

Ooh longest a few people have mentioned something about colds when labour is imminent, not sure how true it is. Hope you feel better soon though.

Foot is better with wearing a tubi grip, managed a forty minute walk, had a go on the breast pump, eating jalapeños with my pulled pork roll, and ball bouncing! Standard Sunday ha ha had a lot of watery thick discharge, woke up with wet underwear yesterday and had to change and then leaked through a panty liner after my walk today.

Leanne FX that things start for you

applecore0317 · 17/05/2015 15:01

ha ha bazza love it

longestlurkerever · 17/05/2015 16:06

apple really? I had a shocking cold just before dd was born so we'll see! Is probably just my immune system shot to pieces though.

Fx your wet knickers are signs of something exciting too lol!

applecore0317 · 17/05/2015 16:43

Apparently so longest couple of friends said it a few weeks ago when I was full of cold and had really bad backache. Although back was down to water infection and cold was down to immune system.

Lol, thanks :)

leanne963 · 17/05/2015 18:21

Oh bazza I love it lol!!!

I've been getting a weird cramp the past couple of days in my leg/pelvic joint! I dunno what it is and I can't seem to relieve it cause it is right in the socket and just feels like it is cramping up! Anyone else get this?

applecore0317 · 17/05/2015 18:24

Could be something the baby is pressig against leanne? maybe a trapped nerve
