Hey ladies. Thought we needed a new thread starting , hope this works.

I had a baby! Baby Will was born last night after an induction post-waters-breaking. Nearly ended up with a c-section as he got all tangled up with his cord wrapped round his neck but ended up pushing him out on the operating table and he was fine. He is beautiful and feeding like a pro.

Congrats to everyone else with new babies and hang in there those waiting, it is all soooo worth it!

Slept really well last night and feel great today with no aches and pains!!! So doubt anything is happening anytime soon lol!!!!

Shower was lovely. Was a girly lunch out really which I am pleased about as was a bit embarrassed about the idea of everyone giving me presents a second time. Dsis did give me a gorgeous homemade mobile though and my friend has lent me the new born an insert for my ergo carrier. Had a baby Bjorn last time but a friend got me a deal on and end of line ergo as I had sling envy last time!

well due date is coming to an end with no baby or any signs of baby. think this is going to be another 2 weeks over baby. my boys have a history of being stubborn

Ordered my sling today and found an eternity ring to go with my wedding and engagement set, think DH was relieved that I didn't damage his wallet

Anything anyone would recommend food wise for me for the hospital bag or drinks? or is it a case of food is the last thing you would want?

Hello! Baby Matthew arrived safely by EMCS in the end as the induction didn't work either. So, a bit of a hard slog but he's gorgeous and worth the wait. Will post a pic on the FB group soon!

I am heading to 40+2 with nothing. Last week's contractions are history. #2 was born at 40+2 so I think I was rather hoping this one would appear earlier but not to be. Let's hope this one won't imitate its sister at 42 weeks...

apple I recommend lots of snacks! I have been ravenous since giving birth. I would take sweets for quick energy like jelly babies. I needed stitches so wanted to avoid constipation at all costs so took dried fruit. I had cereal bars and grapes too.
