So sorry Swimming :( I'm very pleased your husband is strong by your side for support x

BoobsTooBig · 23/04/2015 23:19

If it's any consolation I fel pregnant with my DS strait after mc at 8 weeks. He is not just my silver lining he is my rainbow and pot of gold I hope next month or the following is the month it was meant to be xx

Sweets27 · 23/04/2015 23:25

Hi ladies, firstly I'm so sorry goneswimming, hope you and your DH are looking after each other. Thinking of you FlowersFlowersFlowers

And Mship, fx that it's not what you think. Loving the tena pads from your DH! Grin

Thanks so much to you lovely ladies sparing me a thought and asking me about my scan Smile it was good news - little bean easy to spot, looking healthy with a lovely little heartbeat. So relieved, and it was very emotional - it's all real now! Measured at 7+4 which is weird, was convinced I was just 7. Will wait and see what the next scan says when they can date more accurately.

The only concern was that the sonographer found a fairly sizeable cyst. Not something that will harm the baby, apparently, but need to go get it checked out by a consultant to see what it is. Fx nothing too serious. Most important thing is it isn't a problem for the bean.

toadierocks · 23/04/2015 23:53

Fabulous news on the happy little bean sweets !!!! had everything crossed for you Cake are you getting an appointment with the consultant re the cyst soon? Did you tell your folks over dinner then?

Sweets27 · 23/04/2015 23:57

Thanks toadie Smile the crossed fingers worked! Yup we told my parents, they were both quite excited but sensible given it's still so early. Feels very real now that they know! What a day - I am shattered...

BoobsTooBig · 24/04/2015 01:51

Huge Congrats sweets that's wonderful news :)
Did they say where about the cyst was? Glad to hear no danger for your little bean x

megarobotdiscoparty · 24/04/2015 06:08

Woop sweets! Brilliant news on your bean! Full steam ahead...

Not sure if it's the same thing but I get recurrent cysts on my ovaries (PCOS but they've found whacking great ones on there -was waiting on investigation on a particularly nasty specimen when I got pg this time). Consultant told me the vast majority will self-resolve so not to worry unnecessarily. Fx for you!

PeppermintTee · 24/04/2015 06:09

Swimming, you have my heart felt sympathies. I've been there and it's awful. Just take it easy and look after yourself Hun xx

Sweets, what a relief, I'm so glad to hear things went well!

I'm loving hearing about your cravings ladies. I craved some Heinz tomato soup yesterday and I haven't fancied that in ages.

MarkingMyPlace9 · 24/04/2015 06:24

Yay Sweets! glad to hear all went well at the Scan, and at least the Cyst was found nice and early so that it can be dealt with if needed!
I am having the bunged up nose/cold symptons other people have described. I thought I had caught a cold off my DS! I do hope it doesn't last for long as I can hardly taste anything, and really don't feel like eating anything atm, which really isn't helping my sickness!

shinysparklythings · 24/04/2015 06:26

swimming so sorry to hear that, glad your DH is with you. I'm thinking of you x x

sweets that is fab! Must of been so exciting to see bean!

For those of you that aren't first timers, when do you get your scan appt through? I've had my booking letter for the 8/5 at which point I'll be 9+6, worried that if I have to wait till after that for the scan letter that it will be too late for some of the tests they do?

I've not really had any cravings, but fed more into savoury than sweet at the mo. A few food aversions but nothing really strong.

Hope today is a good day for you all, it's nearly the weekend!!!!!!!! Grin

TheMshipIsBack · 24/04/2015 06:27

Congratulations Sweets! That's lovely news.

I'm afraid this is it for me, heavy cramping and increased bleed this morning, will be phoning the epu when they open to see about a scan to confirm, not expecting good news. Better luck next time, it's my first miscarriage and it happens to lots of folks. I've already got one amazing child and I'll be focusing on him the next few days.

ThreeBeanRap · 24/04/2015 06:37

Mship I'm sorry, I hope the scan proves you wrong. Thinking of you.

I have started spotting again this morning. No cramps and my boobs are really sore and big but it's making me really concerned. Last time the scan showed it was implantation bleeding, that was 1.5 weeks ago though so surely it won't still be the same thing? Or could it?

Am on my way to the airport for a 4 day trip which is not ideal.

MarkingMyPlace9 · 24/04/2015 06:44

So sorry to hear that MShip Fingers crossed for good news at the Scan.
And try not to worry ThreeBean Is there somewhere you can go and get checked out when you land?

ThreeBeanRap · 24/04/2015 06:50

Thanks marking. I'm not sure - we're only going a couple of hours away but I don't speak the language (and didn't get travel insurance, because I'm an idiot). Had planned quite an active sightseeing trip but have a feeling I'm just going to be lying in the hotel room with my fingers crossed!

oceanlady · 24/04/2015 07:06

So sorry for all the ladies going through difficult times. Thinking of you all Flowers

HariboBrenshnio · 24/04/2015 07:31

So sorry for those ladies who are having a horrid time. Iv been there and it's rubbish. Take care of yourselves xx

Shiny - in my area I had my booking in at 9 weeks, they then send your details to the hospital and I got a letter a week later with my 12 scan date. Try not to worry, they usually have the system sussed to make sure all the tests are done at the right time.

chopsface · 24/04/2015 07:43

So sorry for your loss swimming and everything crossed that its not the end for you mship x x

Welcome flora! (may I call you flora ?) We have the same stats! Also EDD Dec 21st.

Woke up feeling normal and my boobs weren't sore in bed last night. Don't like it Angry

Metalhead · 24/04/2015 07:46

Congratulations sweets, so pleased for you!

Sorry to hear it's not looking good for you themship, I hope you can get a scan to know for sure one way or the other.

three if it's brown spotting it could still be left over from implantation bleeding.

shiny when I phoned the hospital on Monday to chase up my early scan I discovered they've already got my 12-week scan date in the diary (1 June), it's just that they only send the appointment letters out nearer the time, so yours might be the same.

WaitingForEgg · 24/04/2015 07:50

So sorry Swimming and Mship Flowers try to look after yourselves in the next few days
Welcome FlorIxora we are due at the similar time, still need to book my early scan.
No more spotting since the 2 dots yesterday so keeping fingers crossed all is well. My boobs seem to have taken on a life of their own, they are usually big anyway but my god.... I am fearful for what they may become!

ThreeBeanRap · 24/04/2015 07:54

metalhead it is brown, so I am hoping it's nothing. Just didn't think it could still be from implantation as the doctor said she could only see a small bleed on the initial scan and spotting had stopped by then - that was 1.5 weeks ago. I did have an internal scan so maybe that's caused it? Argh it's so frustrating!

WhatsForYeWontGoByYe · 24/04/2015 08:17

So sorry to hear, swimming. Take good care of yourself and fingers crossed it won't be long until you're back on these boards. Stay in touch Flowers

Mship thinking of you too. Let us know how the scan goes. Have an image if you in the Tena pads, one eyebrow raised... I used a nappy once when nothing else was available...

three what bad timing! Hopefully it'll be nothing if it's brown. It's so common to spot and could be when your period would normally be due if you're close to 8 weeks now? Take it easy but try to enjoy your break.

sweets, love - delighted at your news. A very happy outcome. Come on, beans, we need more stickiness on this thread!

mega I polished off a Frijj milkshake last night and gave another one in the fridge...Blush Are you me???

ThreeBeanRap · 24/04/2015 08:22

whatsforye thanks, that's what I was thinking this morning as im 8+4 today so roughly when my period would be. Fingers crossed. Good luck to all the rest of you too!!

Fizzie100 · 24/04/2015 08:23

Sweets I'm so pleased everything was ok.
To the ladies that are struggling I am so so sorry. Chocolate, wine and cuddles are what helped me. I hope you have lots of RL support.
At least it's Friday folks x
