The sickness has hit. Iv never had this in my last pregnancy. I was up most of the night being sick and then again this morning. Only had a few hours sleep so DP is staying off to help look at after DS. I hope it doesn't continue this badly! Im feeling mothers guilt for being pregnant and not being able to look at after DS.

Metalhead · 22/04/2015 07:42

Sorry to hear about the vomiting sparkle and haribo. Hope you feel a bit better as the day goes on!

I'm going to phone in sick today as well, woke up at least 6 times last night and am feeling pretty rough this morning (though I don't seem to ever actually vomit), so there's no way I'll get this report done I'm supposed to be doing today. It'll just have to wait until next week.

chopsface · 22/04/2015 07:44

Sorry to hear you're feeling so poorly haribo and sparkle

Had some nausea last night and this morning but forced down some weetabix and now on the bus to work. Feeling mega tired :-(

goneswimming · 22/04/2015 07:46

I'm a little bit envious! On the one hand it's obviously no fun to be feeling sick lots- but I have absolutely no symptoms still and I'm 6+2! The little bean playing me up a bit would help me stop stressing...

oceanlady · 22/04/2015 08:23

goneswimming. Apart from cramping I'm not having much either! Everyone is different so try not to panic too much. I think I'm over 7 weeks and only now are my boobs properly starting to hurt and still no nausea! By the way, I'm close to Exeter, Chudleigh!

megarobotdiscoparty · 22/04/2015 08:24

Morning! Marking my spot - this bus is more like a runaway train it's going so fast! Am having a week away with DH and DS and it's been bliss so far. Had a few days of worrying my symptoms were easing off but they returned with a bang yesterday -nearly vommed on poor DS's head at storytime and couldn't eat any of my tea. Weird as all I wanted to do was eat last time -this time I don't want to eat at all.

Jebel that sounds awful, I really hope you find some answers and support. Are they insane, getting rid of a high performer?? Sure there must be something you can do, although last thing you need to be dealing with right now.

sparkle I've had bad cramping too this time - try not to worry, it IS normal. Easier said than done I know!!

toadie how awful, so sorry to read this. And to not be listened to and told everything's ok Angry Crossing everything for you. Hold on tight Flowers

How's everyone else doing?

megarobotdiscoparty · 22/04/2015 08:26

Fistbump to all the sicky ladies!! Envy
(I know this is an envy face but it looks like I feel right now so I'm rolling with it)

afloat · 22/04/2015 08:38

I was super busy for a few days with work so spent the morning catching up on what I lost. I'm really sorry to hear some of you are going through hard times; I wish there was something more comforting I could say. I'm doing pretty well, but some mild cramping has started which is worrying, but find it reassuring from you guys that it's pretty normal.

WhatsForYeWontGoByYe · 22/04/2015 08:45

sparkle and afloat yep, I'm having lots of cramping too and am reassured it's totally normal. I remember it from last time, too. Just everything down there getting ready!

Sorry about the sickness, everyone. I'm feeling near-constant nausea but only had my first dry heave yesterday. Was much worse last time, so either it's only just gearing up or it'll be less severe. Fingers crossed!

HariboBrenshnio · 22/04/2015 09:34

I didn't have sickness with DS so this is all new to me! It's actually a much lower percentage of women that do have morning sickness, I'll try dig out the stats, than you think. Totally normal to not have it and so is cramping as your body makes room for baby. With DS I just lost my appetite for a few weeks - that was my biggest symptom and he's a bouncing 18 month old currently sat naked on my bed watching CBeebies! After a MC it is reassuring even though I feel rough.

Hope others feeling rough can get some rest!

abi2790 · 22/04/2015 10:15

I have never been so tired! I didn't sleep well last night at all and had an early start. I've found when I'm so tired my nausea gets worse. Going to wait for my shopping to be delivered then it's off to bed for me!

I've had lots of cramping too so probably nothing to worry about sparkle :)

Sweets27 · 22/04/2015 10:20

Sorry ladies that are feeling sickly! Flowers I've been feeling fairly nauseous most evenings, but thankfully that's as far as it goes. Cannot imagine how you are all coping at work and especially those of you who have other little ones to look after!

MarkingMyPlace9 · 22/04/2015 11:09

Hiya Ladies Grin Hoping I can join. Got my BFP last Week, due date is 19th Dec with no 2. Was soooo sick during my first Pregnancy with DS, for 8 Months! But only feeling slightly sick every now and again this time. Makes me think it's a Girl (I know it's far too early to tell!) I hope everyone is good. Sorry to hear about all the worries and having early Scans. They say your more laid back with your second, third ect Child. But I feel so much more knowledgeable, especially about what can go wrong! So I don't feel laid back about anything at all!!!

WhatsForYeWontGoByYe · 22/04/2015 11:10

Ha, sweets - my DD is in nursery three days a week. I've just had her on my own for the last two days and it's been torture! She's lovely but hyperactive. For the rest of the week it's just me, working from home, and it's so quiet and I can retch in peace! Wink

Andifyoudontfirstsucceed · 22/04/2015 11:25

Hi all, so I have made it to 7 weeks 2 days. Feel constantly I'll which then turns to heart burn - only thing that helps is eating :( just so sick of feeling sick! That on top of worry about if this one will stick ( 2 precious mc at 6 weeks) scan is a week on Friday when I can breathe!!

TerryTheGreenHorse · 22/04/2015 12:21

I work from home too WFY very peaceful! Though sometimes I would like some adult conversation.

Hope everyone is good, feeling the most positive today I have for ages, hopefully that's the hormones settling down.

I got the three plus on the digi today which took a little while, I know they are not supposed to be fully accurate but that was irking me.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Twinwife · 22/04/2015 12:26

Sorry to hear about cramping and vomiting Sparkle. I was sick every day of my last pregnancy from about 7 weeks. I am one 7+4 and so far I'm ok. But I am ravenous and feel nauseous with it, so I feel I am eating non stop at the moment, which is NOT good!

Attempting toilet training DS today, not enjoyable!

Hope all ok

TerryTheGreenHorse · 22/04/2015 12:35

Urg toilet training. Good luck!

goneswimming · 22/04/2015 15:29

Home from work with horrible cramps. So frightened.

Jodiesaurus · 22/04/2015 15:37

Sorry to hear of everybody's troubles. I've had slight brown blood and I mean a minimal amount but doesn't bode well when my miscarriage started like this. Sigh why can't we just decided we want a baby and then just have it straight fowardly without all the crap that comes with it. Sorry just letting of steam!

Sweets27 · 22/04/2015 15:40

Oh no goneswimming don't panic! Cramps can mean anything, from your uterus stretching, to your placenta digging in as it grows, to trapped wind/constipation which can be unnervingly easy to confuse with period-type cramps sometimes. Thinking of you though, must be horrible to be sat there in pain and worrying Flowers

goneswimming · 22/04/2015 16:09

Brown discharge when I wipe, my husband's away with work till tomorrow night and I so wish he was here with me. We tried so hard for this baby, and we literally told my mum last weekend. I feel like the world's falling apart.

Sweets27 · 22/04/2015 16:22

Don't panic, don't panic. I've just been through a really similar thing, and I still don't know if everything's OK but at least the brown discharge and bleeding have stopped over the last couple of days, and I'm starting to see it in perspective a bit more. Don't leap to conclusions. Can you give your local EPU/GP/midwife a call for some reassurance?

TerryTheGreenHorse · 22/04/2015 16:31

Try not to panic, it's quite common.

You sound stressed I would call them up and see if you can get some reassurance.
