Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
TerryTheGreenHorse · 22/04/2015 20:52

Yes, google it though it's happened to loads of people. It depends on the dilution of your wee, plus some people have HCG on the low end but that's fine.

BoobsTooBig · 22/04/2015 20:53

Well that's really good to hear :)

TerryTheGreenHorse · 22/04/2015 20:54

If you google HCG levels at 6 weeks it's a huge difference and all in normal ranges, so I would maybe leave it until the weekend and do it.

I know the feeling though, you just want that 3+

BoobsTooBig · 22/04/2015 20:59

Good plan x

HariboBrenshnio · 22/04/2015 21:15

Hi macklin. Congratulations! My SA is also 18 months Smile

Gone I'll have everything crossed for you tomorrow.

Sharon I think I'd try see another GP. Yours sounds useless! There are drugs you can take. What happens if you get dehydrated? M&s can't just say get on with it. Definitely get a second opinion.

Iv got gassy cramps and feel so sick. Hoping I'll get some sleep tonight.

toadie the sonographer thought I was 7 weeks at the scan according to LMP, but hcg blood tests indicated closer to 5, as did my knowledge of dtd dates. The scan confirmed 5. I'm 7+2 today, rocking along the bus to the train station, feeling queasy.

WaitingForEgg · 23/04/2015 07:25

Sorry been absent for a bit! The dreaded flight home from aus is finat over! 27 hours feeling nauseous was no fun at all!
Goneswimming good luck today I will be thinking of you, really hope you get a positive outcome
Welcome all the newbies!
Not actually vomited yet but pretty much in a constant state of nausea

megarobotdiscoparty · 23/04/2015 07:34

Good luck today swimming Flowers

abi2790 · 23/04/2015 07:36

Gone thinking of you today Flowers

I'm 7 +2 and Last night was the first time I've been sick, it was horrible! I went to bed at 8:30 and woke up at 7 and I still feel like I could be sick at any point. I didn't have any of this with ds until about 12 weeks when I couldn't keep anything down for a week. Fingers crossed I don't feel this ill for another 5-6 weeks (it's unlikely I know lol!)

TheMshipIsBack · 23/04/2015 07:37

LabMonkey

Mship are you having the Harmony in London? Did you get referred or did you just call them to make an appointment?

I'm having the harmony test in Glasgow at the GRMC. I just phoned and sorted through appropriate dates with the appointments person. It's private, so you can generally just self refer. It costs about £500. I'll be 11 weeks exactly at the test, they do a scan first. I'm unfortunately out of the country over the exact period that is suitable for the nt scan, so I opted to pay for this test rather than wait for the less accurate quad test when I'm back. My dh will be home and can open the test result letter for me. Also having an nhs scan at 14+2 (the day after I get home!).

chopsface · 23/04/2015 07:40

I hope you're ok swimming thinking of you x

Hope your sickness isn't in for the long haul guys x drinking water makes me nauseous :-( I love and need water!

TheMshipIsBack · 23/04/2015 07:44

swimming Flowers all the best today. Epu staff are universally lovely, you'll be well taken care of no matter what.

Nausea's just hit me now I'm on the train and no access to biscuits for the next hour. Boo. So glad I rarely have to do this stupid long commute.

TheMshipIsBack · 23/04/2015 07:47

Something to make you smile: DH home with DS 2.10 texts saying "little bum's just eaten BOTH our breakfasts!!". We're talking a total of two eggs, two slices of toast, banana, milk. Must be another growth spurt...

Thinking of you today swimming. I didn't have any sickness or nausea at all with DD so hoping for the same again this time!

WhatsForYeWontGoByYe · 23/04/2015 08:11

Thinking of you, swimming. Hope you managed to get some sleep.

sharon your GP sounds crap. If you have HG it will show in your urine - I had it borderline (couldn't keep anything down or drink water in my last pregnancy) and GP tested my pee then and there, found ketones (which I think means your body has started processing its own muscle) and I was signed off and given drugs. It's not even something they have to send off - just dip a stick in it! Get a second opinion if you're that ill.

TheMshipIsBack · 23/04/2015 09:18

sparkle that's amazing, I can't believe how much some of these kids eat, they must have jet engine metabolisms. DS usually eats well, but not this much! Had another text a bit later where he was "helping" poor DH with his replacement breakfast Shock

Wish I could stay home and rest for a bit, but I haven't told work yet and have to travel (luckily only train or short flight) for work this week and next. I'm really tired this time but the nausea isn't so bad. Last time the nausea was 24/7 but I wasn't so tired. Can't win!

Thinking of swimming for your appointment today. I hope you have some company and comfort xx

I'm sooo tired these days. When is it appropriate to get one of those Baby on Board badges for the tube? I actually went the wrong direction on purpose for a few stops this morning so I could get a seat. /moan

Sweets27 · 23/04/2015 09:42

Morning all. swimming, thinking of you today Flowers

And thanks todaie for the thoughts about my scan too - I am so nervous. Slept really fitfully last night (got up THREE times to pee, argh) and had lots of dreams about the scan.

Sorry to hear about those of you starting the morning sickness, and sparkle glad you're getting a break! Smile

WhatsForYeWontGoByYe · 23/04/2015 10:04

afloat I've already dug out my badge from last time...but I work from home these days so unlikely I'll need it for any rush hour nonsense, thankfully.

I do sympathise with those commuting - remember it well! [shudders]

sweets is it tomorrow your scan? Or Monday?

Sweets27 · 23/04/2015 10:07

Whatsforye, the scan's this afternoon - 5.30pm so I'll be sneaking out of work early with my heart thumping!

I'm making him leave work early too Grin

I think he's pretty excited/nervous as well, so he's keen to be there anyway. And if it goes badly, we can support each other - if it's good news, we can formulate a plan of how to tell my parents while we're on the way to dinner with them!
