Please honestly don't be jealous. Yes it was fast but I went from nothing to full blown contractions and pushing it was very scary my daughter pooped so she must of been distressed I'm glad she came safely even though we spent the night in hospital to keep an eye on her. I was traumatised after, just hoping if I plan a home birth I'm mentally prepared. She's still the same now the little beggar :) always in a hurry to do something and never stops ??

Jodiesaurus · 21/04/2015 14:56

Withalittlesparkle my first was 4 hours not trying to scare you!

Don't let your neighbour put you of tell him to bugger off if he moans about it. In reality he probably wouldn't even notice.

LabMonkey · 21/04/2015 16:48

Mship are you having the Harmony in London? Did you get referred or did you just call them to make an appointment?

I had a CVS with DD2 but I can't face the MC risk this time.

Sweets27 · 21/04/2015 18:04

Hello hotsauce, congratulations - a Christmas Day baby would certainly be exciting! Smile

Jebel · 21/04/2015 18:34

Hello hotsauce

Keeping everything crossed for toadie sweets fizz

I am feeling a bit down about my work situation. I was due a significant bonus and they have terminated me a few days before the end of the financial year after I had a brilliant year, smashing all targets. It makes me very cynical and feel that they just wanted to avoid paying my bonus. I am not in the UK so am just trying to find my way through the minefield of local law to see what I can do. Did not sleep at all last night because of the stress, don't want to harm the little bean so trying to stay calm.

Sweets27 · 21/04/2015 18:53

Jebel, I meant to say before, I'm so sorry to hear about your job. Last thing you need while you're trying to keep calm and focus on your little bean. It sounds like they've treated you so unfairly, but my impression is that it can be really hard to prove something like that if they have made you redundant for an ostensibly valid reason (depending on what country you're in). Do you know any employment lawyers you can speak to, or is there any sort of citizens advice service you can call to see if there's anything you can do? Flowers

orangemouth281 · 21/04/2015 20:37

Can I join please? I got my BFP on Sunday and I think I'm due Christmas Day! It's my second, already have DD 14 months.

claremccrory59 · 21/04/2015 20:40

Silly question.....where is the stats page?? Don't think I can see it from my phone app, or maybe I'm not looking in the right place!
Cx

abi2790 · 21/04/2015 20:45

The phone app is crap clare you can't see anything lol that's why I stopped using it! Go on the mobile app and it's in a link on the first post.

I have bad indegestion again :( is anybody else suffering with it yet? I had severe heartburn with ds but not until 25+ weeks.

abi2790 · 21/04/2015 20:47

Congratulations orange! I bet it will be so nice having your little ones so close in age. My ds is 28 months and will have just turned 3 when this one comes which is a little further apart but still close enough for them hopefully to be best friends!

WhatsForYeWontGoByYe · 21/04/2015 20:48

jebel that sounds pretty dodgy to me. Is the company itself British-owned, and are you a British national? If so, you may have some rights under UK law (although I'm no legal expert). Shame you can't claim they discovered your pregnancy...cos THAT kind of dismissal earns the big bucks!

Definitely make legal enquiries, though. Are you not entitled to a bonus based on the work you carried out pro rata, even if you didn't finish the financial year?

Glad you're able to keep a cool head. Don't panic, it'll work itself out somehow and you and the bean will be fine x

orangemouth281 · 21/04/2015 21:03

Abi I'm a bit worried about the age gap, I hope I can cope with them being so close in age, they're likely to be a handful! It will be nice as they get older though as they will grow up together.

claremccrory59 · 21/04/2015 22:24

Thanks abi2790 - I'll have a nosey from my computer in work tomorrow ;)

BoobsTooBig · 22/04/2015 00:30

Welcome orangemouth & ilovehotsauce yay to Christmas babies :))
I can't stop doing tests for reassurance that hormones are increasing I'm a wreck I need to see a heartbeat before I can enjoy this more. Only 3 weeks to wait for private scan at 8 weeks feels like a lifetime away. Hope everyone has been enjoying the gorgeous weather meant to rain this weekend :( boo over my DS 1st birthday party!
I'm looking froward to the small age gap orangemouth mine will only be 20 months between mine all being well and we have a little sticky bean in there. It will be tough at first for sure but we will be introducing a sibling before the terrible twos start hopefully :)

Jebel · 22/04/2015 06:16

Thanks whatsfor and sweets. I am exploring local law as there is no concept of redundancy here so the dismissal itself could be deemed unfair as I was performing very well. I have nothing in writing yet. My lovely doctor has given me sick leave for morning sickness so I don't have to go to office for a couple of days.

Hello orangemouth. My dd will be 2 when this little bean makes an appearance. She is already strong-willed. Wouldn't go to nursery today without her buckets and hat!

oceanlady · 22/04/2015 07:22

I think it's normal sparkle. I've had them from the beginning. They still freak me out sometimes but apparently it's just everything stretching and growing!!
