Loving that breakdown of official reasons to feel whale like!! I was having waves of nausea that were corrected by stuffing myself with food. The nausea has gone now but the damage is done! Xx

strawberrysundae · 01/05/2015 19:20

Iv also had to go to efforts to go a size up for a bridesmaid dress for my brothers wedding in a few weeks. Now all my family knows. Disaster x

chopsface · 01/05/2015 19:31

All I can eat is peanut butter on toast and crisps!

afloat · 01/05/2015 19:54

I went through a phase of eating buttered toast almost on the hour. All of a sudden I couldn't stand the thought of it Blush

Honey85 · 01/05/2015 19:54

I'm with you ladies on the eating for England! I feel sick constantly and the only time I feel better is when I'm eating. I did this last time and gained 4st in total ..... However by the time she was 4 weeks I'd lost all bar 4lbs ... She too sucked it all out of me haha! That coupled with living on my nerves and forgetting to eat hehe! So although I feel like a whale at the mo, I'm not too worried as know it settles down. If that helps anyone!

Mind you ... Off on holiday on Tuesday and by bikinis are looking pretty awful on me sob!

Got my 12 week scan date for 18th May when I reckon I'll be 11+5. 2 weeks to wait! Can't actually believe I'm doing this again eeek!

strawberrysundae · 01/05/2015 20:02

Keeping fingers crossed for us the weight gain slows down or at least that it comes off easy after! I have my scan on 20th May. So exciting!

Twinwife · 01/05/2015 20:21

Strawberry I'm a bridesmaid in 4 weeks for my sister. Dress is too tight and the rate I'm going the seamstress is going to have to be a miracle worker

chopsface · 01/05/2015 20:27

Ooo I'm.also going on holiday on Tuesday honey! Where are you off to? I'm dreading holiday being spoiled by the nausea and finding foods abroad to quell it! And 3.5 hours on a plane Confused I'm going to Malta by the way.

WaitingForEgg · 01/05/2015 20:31

WhatsFor Colin Caterpillars are my absolute faves.... how soon is ok to send DH out for emergency cravings?

strawberrysundae · 01/05/2015 20:39

Oh twinwife I'm feeling your pain. I have paid for a different dress (same style as the pregnant maid of honour, but she's 6 months gone and I just look like a porker). So embarrassing! I keep telling myself Iv got 2 options but the original dress was too tight weeks ago hmmph! Dreading the wedding!

Withalittlesparkle · 01/05/2015 21:21

Twin/strawberry I'm in the bridesmaid a bunch too, dress fitting on Tuesday!! Eeks!!!

strawberrysundae · 01/05/2015 21:33

Good luck sparkle. Does the bride know you are expecting?

orangemouth281 · 01/05/2015 21:42

I am bridesmaid soon too, in 3 weeks when I'll be 9 weeks so shouldn't really be showing by then but I'm so bloated! I had a fitting last week and the dress was already too tight! Thankfully the seamstress can sort it but I can't put any more weight on or I'll never get into it. The wedding is abroad so there will also be a week of bikini wearing, yuk!! Plus I don't want anyone to know I'm pregnant then but it will be hard to hide with the weight gain and not drinking all the free booze!

happywifey · 01/05/2015 21:45

Hi all - just a quick update went for follow up scan tonight after the one 2 weeks ago which said I was prob only 5 weeks when I estimated that I was 6 + 2 and they said I prob had my dates mixed up. So, as they spent lots of time measuring the sac today I was told that it was only around 5 weeks and the sac was empty! My heart sank - game over. However, the consultant gave it one more try and moved the scanner prod thing around some more and there was suddenly a little heartbeat flashing away very fast on the screen and a little bean around 6 +2 . I was , I am, so relieved and happy. My dates were out by approx 3weeks - My Due date is now predicted as Xmas eve for the stats.

strawberrysundae · 01/05/2015 21:48

Nightmare isn't it. I'll be 12 weeks on the wedding day so just no idea how my body will be. I just had the whole hen weekend last weekend and had to tell the girls at 8 weeks as there was no way I could get away not drinking. Boobs are so sore tonight. Gonna need to go bra shopping tomorrow as mine are too tight xx

strawberrysundae · 01/05/2015 21:49

Sorry happywifey I think we posted the same time. I haven't followed your story (only joined tonite) but feeling relieved for you xx

WaitingForEgg · 01/05/2015 21:54

Oh happywifey what a relief. So glad it worked out
I'm a bridesmaid next summer so hopefully will have a 6 month old by then. I struggle to lose weight in general so god knows how much of the baby weight will be gone by then!

happywifey · 01/05/2015 21:56

Thanks Strawberrysundae and welcome :) am soooo relieved - this last two weeks has been horrid waiting and not knowing.

Withalittlesparkle · 02/05/2015 07:17

Happy that's brilliant news!! What a scare!! Hopefully you can relax a bit now

Hummingbird15 · 02/05/2015 08:36

What a relief HappyWifey, I can't imagine how horrible those moments must have been for you when they said there was nothing there. And a proper Xmas baby for you now!

WaitingForEgg · 02/05/2015 08:57

Insomnia mixed with being absolutely knackered seems to be my current sleeping pattern Confused I guess this means it's nutella on toast time!Brew

kaffkooks · 02/05/2015 10:56

Hello, not been posting this week as too knackered after working the weekend, I went to bed at 8th on Thursday and am actually feeling better now. Sorry to all those who are having a rough time. Waiting, I am living on Nutellama on toast. Had my booking in appointment on Wednesday but scan not until beginning of June when I'm over 13 weeks. They have lost my notes from the last time so I had to spend a long time explaining my medical history, previous miscarrriage, forceps birth, 3rd degree tear.....Then midwife said "you should be at high risk clinic under other consultant so you'll need to come back to her clinic in 6 weeks" Ah well, hopefully they'll have found my notes by then

kaffkooks · 02/05/2015 11:11

Sorry, didn't check that before posting 8pm, Nutella and banana although Nutellama is quite a good shorthand

Magickal · 02/05/2015 11:24

Good news, Happy :)

I felt too queasy to have breakfast this morning so had brunch just now - a white bagel with thickly spread, full fat cream cheese and Cheesy Nacho Pringles squished on top. Yum! Carb fest.

WaitingForEgg · 02/05/2015 12:03

My nausea has definitely stepped up a level today, and I have absolutely terrible trapped wind (sorry TMI), any tricks for easing it?
