florixora, both DP and I are from different European countries. Thankfully we both are going to my home in when I'll be 11 weeks where all my family will be. We're not sure whether to wait for a planned trip later in the summer to his family or tell them on Skype...

WhatsForYeWontGoByYe · 27/04/2015 08:56

I told my parents on Skype. I'm Scottish but live in London and wouldn't otherwise see them til mid-May. Nice thing is, my 12 week scan is while they're down! So they're going to take DD for the morning to let me and DH go off on our own and (hopefully) enjoy it without distractions!

Massive puke-fest this morning...feeling crap. Have a really busy work week then the inlaws arrive on Fri evening for the weekend.... Urgh.

FlorIxora · 27/04/2015 09:24

I am sorry so many are in the Skype boat, but it does make me feel better. I feel bad for my mum. Mil lives in the same city as us so she gets to experience big news "live", my mum always has to find out over the phone or skype. This is definitely a Skype job this time. I want to see her face. My family has had a difficult two years as well with many deaths. It would be nice if something nice happened :)

I have just been given cake for breakfast...

abi2790 · 27/04/2015 10:30

Good morning ladies.

Boobs hope you're feeling better today. try not to worry about the cramp. I've had it since about 4 weeks and I'm almost 8 weeks now. It was quite strong cramps yesterday and I thought it was all over but nothing and they've gone today :) there's just so much going on in our tummies it's bound to be uncomfortable!

Good luck today Toadie.

Went out for a Sunday roast yesterday with ds and my bff. Had a great time and I stuffed my face but I was so tired! Luckily bff is so good with ds and did all the hard work with him. She knows I'm pregnant (as do most of my family due to my mum and mil not keeping quiet haha but I don't mind) so it's nice to have her help when I'm out with ds without dp. I feel so unwell today though. Partly because I ate too much yesterday and my tummy is killing me! Secondly because I am ridiculously tired and it doesn't help that ds woke up at 5:30 this morning and refused to go back to sleep! he's at nursery now so may sneak a quick nap in before I have to pick him up in a couple of hours :)

sharonthewaspandthewineywall · 27/04/2015 10:31

Scan today went well baby is fine just an area of what looks like old blood in it's sac which they think is from an implantation bleed.
I'm still the same as my dates but my hcg levels are high according to my bloods which is why I feel so sick!

Beanmp007 · 27/04/2015 10:38

I'm due on 21st Dec. I hope that it's not too late to join? I can't seem to edit the spreadsheet. It's my first and we've been trying for 6 months.I've found reading through the thread very inspirational. I started feeling sick from 3 weeks. It's like constant feeling of being hungover.

megarobotdiscoparty · 27/04/2015 10:40

I'm out Sad. Scan today showed we'd lost the foetus. Sent home to wait for nature to take its course. Thought I was prepared for this but I'm devastated. Only two more rounds of clomid left and that's us out for baby #2. Will be cuddling my DS extra tight today and knowing how lucky I am to have him.

Good luck ladies, been lovely spending time with you!

Metalhead · 27/04/2015 10:45

Great news on your scan Sharon!

Welcome bean and any other newbies I've missed. I'm also in the constant hangover camp - yuck! I'm supposed to be going to a hen do on 9 May and really don't know what to do, the way I'm feeling at the moment it just wouldn't be much fun at all.

I'm also from the Continent originally, and we're planning on telling my family at the end of May when we're over there for half term, provided I have a good 10 week private scan before. I've already told my parents over the phone as they knew how long we'd been trying and about all the tests we've had.

Good luck for your scan toadie, I hope it goes well.

Metalhead · 27/04/2015 10:47

Oh no, sorry about the x-post megarobot - I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you've got lots of support at home.

Fx for another sticky bean for you soon. Flowers

Oh megarobot! I am so sorry to hear that. I suppose nothing can prepare you for the news, even if you tell yourself before the scan that it could go either way. Hope you are looking after yourself and enjoying cuddles with DS. Flowers

Sweets27 · 27/04/2015 11:41

Welcome to the new girls and congratulations on the BFPs, whohas you must be nervous this time after such a difficult loss, fingers very tightly crossed for you! Have you got an early scan booked?

whohasnickedmyvodka · 27/04/2015 11:44

I should be having a scan in the next 2-3 weeks I don't think it will sink in until then even though I feel awful and I'm so so tired

MarkingMyPlace9 · 27/04/2015 11:51

Sorry to hear that Mega Flowers

NicNak22 · 27/04/2015 12:09

mega so sorry Flowers

FlorIxora · 27/04/2015 13:12

Mega - so sorry for your loss. I hope you have support. I think there are quite good mc threads on MN.
I hope you get on a bus in not too long. xx

Welcome to the Bean (same EDD!) and Whohasnicked.

Unbearable stress at work today. Shts are hitting fans at high speed. I am paid so little and childcare is so expensive in London. I don't think I'll go back after maternity leave. I'm in f*-this-sht mood.

Serenity05 · 27/04/2015 13:37

Oh mega, I'm gutted for you. I'm so, so sorry. x

Withalittlesparkle · 27/04/2015 14:06

Oh mega I'm so sorry to hear you need. Give your darling boy the biggest squeeze and allow yourself some time.

Welcome newbies Smile

I've got a lot of mucus at the moment, with maybe a hint of brown. No cramping so determined not to worry.
