Sparkle That sounds like a very good idea! Hope everyone is well and manages a relaxing Weekend. DH is due back at 12.45 from Work today, then DS is His responsibility till Sun Night lol!

Withalittlesparkle · 25/04/2015 07:21

Sweets/chandler I have PCOS and during my internal scan (pre baby) the sonographer described my ovaries as riddled with cysts Hmm they drew the conclusion I probably wouldn't conceive unaided... Two weeks later I got my first BFP (he's now almost 2!!!)

I don't remember anyone checking my ovaries during my scans but if they did then they never said anything and I just carried on as normal.

sharonthewaspandthewineywall · 25/04/2015 09:53

Spent most of the night at A&E last night, they have me a anti nausea shot and they examined me for the cause of the bleeding which they think is old blood and things look normal thus far.
They are referring me to EPAU on Monday for an early scan

ChandlersFarang · 25/04/2015 10:45

Sharon sorry to hear you've had to go in to hospital! Is that shot the antidote for the dreaded thing that Kate Middleton had which made her morning sickness horrendous?! Hope you're feeling better and fab to hear that your bean is doing well!!Grin

orange that's brilliant re: your Glasto experience!! Very encouraging. Yes this year will be VERY different for me too (hopefully) as we really don't do things by halves usually, have been every year since 2009... Good to mix things up a bit tho right?! Crumpet craving sounds just like the sort of thing I might develop as well... Haha!! Fingers crossed I don't still feel nauseous by then as the toilets (and the queues!) will be a living hell!!

sparkle - glad your PCOS didn't affect things too much with your last pg, and well done for conceiving yourself! I was on the IVF waiting list myself so feels good to have made it this far on my own!

Withalittlesparkle · 25/04/2015 11:15

Chandlers, yes it felt amazing but I was willing to do whatever it took. this time I'd been to the GP because my PCOS symptoms were getting worse and my body had started throwing some really long cycles (60 plus days) she told me again natural conception would be hard again and we may need help. A few months later here we are GrinGrin take that medical profession!!!

chopsface · 25/04/2015 12:10

Looks there are a few of us beating the medical odds in here! I too was waiting for fertility treatment for male factor infertility. Was waiting for af to arrive so I could call the clinic and get started! Was getting frustrated saying 'never arrives when you want it does it?!' Grin

MarkingMyPlace9 · 25/04/2015 13:07

How's your spotting now ThreeBean?
And Grin at all you Medical Marvels!

FlorIxora · 25/04/2015 13:23

I received a letter from the hospital. First antenatal appointment on May 23rd!

I went to glasto in 2013 and this couple had a 1 yo and a big 7 month bump. They seemed to be doing quite well.

ThreeBeanRap · 25/04/2015 13:47

marking thanks for asking, it seems to have lessened today so I am really hoping it is going to stop. Taking it easy as much as possible and will give the GP a ring when I get home - need to chase them up anyway as I still haven't heard from the midwife with a booking appt date. Currently sitting on a terrace with a hot chocolate while DH wanders round more of the museums. Bliss!

MarkingMyPlace9 · 25/04/2015 14:55

Glad to hear it ThreeBean Make sure you do rest up. And mmm Hot Chocolate! Enjoy the rest of your Break.

sharonthewaspandthewineywall · 25/04/2015 15:05

Yep Chandlers I have hyperemesis. Although I doubt miss
Middleton has had to fight medical professionals at every turn to convince them she is unwell and not just being a huge drama queen!

FeedTheBirds33 · 25/04/2015 15:16

Room for another one?
I haven't felt confident enough to join in until now. This is our 5th IVF embryo transfer and our first BFP! That's if you don't count attempt no. 4 which we thought had failed but turned out to be an ectopic that ruptured at 7 weeks :(
We had an early scan yesterday at 6+2 and expected bad news (grown accustomed to it now) and as I had experienced some pain and spotting, but straight away they saw our little bean with the heartbeat flashing away! I think we're still in shock but I finally feel allowed to call myself 'pregnant':)

Can I be added to the stats? I'm 33, first-timer, from mid-Devon, EDD Dec 16th!

MarkingMyPlace9 · 25/04/2015 15:23

Yay FeedThe Thats amazing!
Congratulations!! Cake

Jcandy · 25/04/2015 15:39

Congratulations feed! Same EDD as me Smile

ChandlersFarang · 25/04/2015 16:07

Feed - that's AMAZING to hear you've had a successful scan after all you've coped with! Massive congrats GrinGrin hope you have a boring/happy/way less eventful 8 months ahead!!

Sparkle/chops - just shows what a bit of determination/DTD can do - go us!

Flor - a baby and a bump! Wowzers. I've got nothing to complain about then surely!! Grin

WaitingForEgg · 25/04/2015 16:28

Feed how wonderful things are now turning around for you! Welcome to the group
Nausea has gone up a step now. No actual vomiting yet but I hear it can start up any time. Is it bad I am nosing online at baby bits? Would f buy any yet but finding it hard to get on with anything else

FlorIxora · 25/04/2015 17:14

Chandlers - I did think they were crazy brave. the toddler was carried by dad on a "hiking" baby backpack carrier. Mum seemed to happily waddle around. Fairplay to them!

Nausea has not hit me bad which is almost odd because I am prone to stomach upsets, nausea and have an ulcer which sometimes bothers me.

The "period" cramps are relentless.

Jebel · 25/04/2015 18:27

feed that is wonderful. I had 5 years of infertility and did 3 rounds of IVF to get DD and then one night of nookie this time and fingers x'd no2 will arrive in December!

Jebel · 25/04/2015 18:31

Anyone else having quite vivid and, ahem, quite horny dreams?

MarkingMyPlace9 · 25/04/2015 18:44

I am having very Vivid Dreams - Normally about what I watched before I went to Bed - My Kitchen Rules, The Vampire Diaries. But there not Horny....Wouldn't mind that with a bit of Stefen Grin But alas, no Blush

LabMonkey · 25/04/2015 18:51

My dreams are incredibly vivid (although not always horny) just really strong and memorable.

Metalhead · 25/04/2015 19:06

I had a dream last night that DD had cut off all her lovely long blonde hair. This morning I discovered she'd snipped a strand of hair off from her outgrowing fringe! Shock

chopsface · 25/04/2015 19:09

Yes my dreams are vivid too, although I am prone to dreams at certain cycle times. One reason I was suspicious of pregnancy is they didn't stop when AF was due like usual! I always got the horny ones at ov time.

Tiredness has hit today and not as much nausea as yesterday. I'm so tired I wanna cry!

megarobotdiscoparty · 25/04/2015 19:49

I hear ya chops - DS was up between 3am and 5am last night and I am BEAT. Feel like I could keel over. My nausea definitely gets worse with tiredness. This is also reminding me what a nightmare sleeper DS was for the first year - starting to get little panics about coping! Anyone else got sleep-averse DCs?

Waves to new BFPS!

Jodiesaurus · 25/04/2015 20:40

Congrats feed yay to brilliant scan.

Boobs are sore, I've come out in spots and the motion sickness is how I describe it has started so so tired. Really craving oj at the moment.
